我覺得這個故事的內容十分令人刻骨銘心，因為雖然此故事所講述的案件十分簡單易明，但當中提及到作為學生的「小偷」的犯案動機其實出自對同伴的同情，並令其同班同學紛紛搶著認罪，情節中刻畫到學生們的單純友誼、憐憫之心，實在令人十分感動。所以，這書實在值得閱讀。
