EXPRESSING ONE’S FEELINGS CAN SAVE A TON OF HEARTACHE
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review
I loved this book! Blaze is an ex-football player, who is now CEO of a biotech company. He makes a bad decision that results in a scandal that he needs to get out of in order to keep his position at his company. He indulges in a plot with an enemy and an ex-friend. This story shows how some minds work without thinking of others. It also contains splitting edge biotech and some things people wonder if they are viable for the near future. This book kept me interested and wondering what the characters would do next.

Cain and Allie's story had it all, suspense, intrigue, murder, revenge and a great back-story. It was not your usual Mafia story which I enjoyed allot.
I get tired of the arranged marriages, father's using their young daughters in order to pay a debt or to combine two families to avoid a war. That story line has been developed too many times and is becoming boring. This isn't the 19 century and yet many of the Mafia genre authors write stories that belong in that century not this one.
This author did a great job developing both Cain and Allie's characters and let you connect with each of them. Two unlikely people with two completely different lives were brought together and fell in love. It was done well and if you want something out of the norm for this kind of genre, I highly advise you read this book.

Overwhelmed and Confused but in Love! This is the only way to describe this book. I love that it ends happily for the main characters, but I have so many questions and hope that his is the beginning of a series of standalone. This is about Cain and Alyssa (Allie). Cain is doing a job but while doing it one of his twin stepbrothers is killed and he is then fired. Several years later he is asked to meet with the Orso (Papa Bear) and he is asked to do one last job for him, which is to kill Al, well Al turned out to be Allie and he doesn’t kill women. They both end up trying to catch the person who kidnapped Allie many years ago and he is trying to kill the person who is responsible for killing his stepbrother.
The story has a lot of action and having the FBI and the Mafia work together was done perfectly. Of course I was overwhelmed with the decisions that they had to make and on stepmom not knowing how to raise a daughter, but fell in love with the whole family from both sides. Now we know Sergio got away, Leo is still mad at Cain for the loss of his twin brother, Orso is on his death bed, Taylor is in love with Allie, Andrea and Cain know that there is a traitor/mole in the family business. Cain is a hired gun for the mafia that is until someone he was supposed to watch out for dies. Then he goes and lives on a mountain in a cabin by himself. However his former boss calls him back to the fold to go after an FBI agent that's getting too close. What no one knew was the agent was a woman not a man and Cain doesn't kill women and children. After he backs out someone else tries to take the agent out and Cain steps in to protect her. He ends up joining her in her search to bring down his boss's rival. Alyssa is suspended from her job and very determined to get the justice she seeks. She never planned on meeting Cain or for the feelings he brings out in her. Will they be able to be together after all their secrets are out in the open? What will Alyssa do when she learns what everyone has hidden from her?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is the story of Cain & Allie. Cain is a retired assassin for the mafia. Allie is an FBI agent. This story is a tangled web to unravel. Cain seems to have no feelings at all. He is intense with no emotion. Guilt rides with him for seven years. Allie gets suspended and starts to pursue looking for someone from her childhood who kidnapped her. This is a complicated story, but it is amazing. It is a slow burn for love, too. The puzzle is unraveled and the revelations are very surprising. It's a great book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. If you like mafia stories, this one's for you.

A really entertaining and nail biting mafia romance that is filled with action, suspense, drama, revenge and amidst all the chaos a romance blossoms between two characters that are so opposite to each other.
Cain a retired mafia hitman is pulled back in to the underworld to complete one last job..an FBI agent threatens to topple the Ursini family and its up to Cain to stop him...when Cain gets to his target he realises that there must be a mistake.......he is a she and someone is after her too.....its upto Cain and his new "partner" to solve the mystery and solve the mystery....a must read

If you love mafia stories, assassins, romance, danger and just for starters, well this is for you. Cain has always worked alone and now he has to do the one thing he vowed he would never do....kill a woman. You could almost feel the mystery surrounding Cain, it’s not what he says, it’s what he doesn’t say intrigues me. So mysterious and then you have Allie. Feisty, dedicated, but also a vulnerable side to her. Who knew Cain and Allie would join forces, fight danger and fight for each other. Brilliant story, loved it

I love mafia renounces and this one was no different. I absolutely loved this and think Ashlee did a fantastic job. Cain and Allie may be on opposites side of the law, but the are a perfect match. Cain and Allie had an instant connection, even though they both tried to fight it. Their chemistry was off the charts hot. There was action, suspense, revenge, lies, secrets, truths revealed, and twists that kept me on my toes. I was hooked from the beginning and read this in one sitting. If you like mafia books, you will like this one.

Her world is turned upside down and she has to put all the pieces back together. Cain is there to help her, even though she tries to send him away. Truths about both of their lives are revealed in this action packed mafia romance with a spectacular ending. Great start to the series! Can’t wait to read more!

You will be surprised by the outcome of this mafia story
Wow, what an amazing book hidden with lots of plot twists! This is my 37th book by Ashlee and they keep getting better. No one is more surprised than Cain when Orso, the mafia boss brings him back from retirement to take care of a little problem with an FBI agent. But when Cain finds the agent, the job becomes something else. I could not put this book down, the story was just that good, and Ashlee brought you to the perfect end!

Cain is a mafia assassin hoping to be on his last job. He wants to protect Allie, but secrets abound. Cain blames himself for the death of his half brother. Orso, the head of the mafia, pulls Cain back in for a job - to take out FBI agent - Al - who turns out to be Allie. He won't kill a woman. Plenty of drama to this story, including Allie's back-story and why she chose the path in life that she did. Exciting from beginning to end.

I'm a total fan girl over this series. Cain thinks his life is on a one way track to being alone after losing someone he was to protect. Allie is a bad ass in her own right and comes under Cain's target when she investigates a mystery on her own past. The twists and turns just kept coming and although these two found their other half there are still villains to find and loose ends that need tied. I will definitely dive into the rest of this series.

Cain is book one in the new and amazing series Underworld Mafia by author Ashlee Price. There’s a chemistry between the characters that will delight your senses. The storyline is intense- twists and turns abound. Can not wait for the next in line- so much can happen and I definitely want to be in the know!!

An amazing well written mafia romance. This engaging storyline is captivating and filled with action, danger, secrets, suspense, twist and turns, angst, steamy scenes and more. A well written, edge of your seat mafia romance. The storyline was engaging and pulled you in, the characters were great and likable, even the ones you love to hate. Cain is filled with secrets, danger, suspense, action, violence, assassins, kidnapping, twists and turns, and steamy scenes.

This author never disappoints...The blurb & previous reviewers have outlined the story itself so I won't rehash that. What I can tell you though is that if you love a hot, sexy, dark & dangerous, suspenseful mafia romance that should have been a kill, this is the book for you. I like Allie is an FBI agent. Caine is a hitman sent to kill her. They are attracted to each other. There are twists and surprises. Unlike the action and steamy scenes. This is a good Mafia romance story.

I wish we could give half stars but...I gave it a four instead of 3.5 as I felt it deserved. It’s not a bad read just...not great. The writing is good, but the storyline is rather weak and the characters are boring.

There's mystery, suspense, danger, and lots of chemistry and passion. Cain and Alyssa both have secrets and pasts but they have this undeniable chemistry that Cain can't go through what he is supposed to do. Now they have to figure out a way to get out this alive. The twists and turns had me on edge and I couldn't put it down.

March 7, 2020This is the first book in the Underworld Mafia Romance. It has a little bit of drama, mystery, twists and turns, suspense. Its a page turner and kept my interest throughout the story. Its wonderful written and a good storyline. I truly enjoyed reading about these two characters. Cain and Allie has wonderful chemistry.

The author has pulled us into the lives of the characters and never lets go. There is a lot of backstory going on but it is needed in order to understand Cain and Allie. The story keeps you turning the page because you cannot wait to find out what will happen next.

This ’Mafia’ story was a bit different compared to others and I liked it. There were more soul and depth in the story. Cain was a good character. Allie felt a bit naive in the beginning, but got better.
