Well, it took me several weeks to get through this final book in the series, but at last, it's complete, and while I found the ending to be entirely predictable, it's always the journey that is enjoyed, even if you know what the final outcome must be, getting there is the fun part. I'm not all that enthusiastic about the way the story panned out, which is why it took me so long to finish it, but now that it's done, I find myself accepting the story as it was laid out, and while it's not a book I'd read again, (few books are), I don't begrudge the time to read it. I think I'll take a pause from stories from this author for a while, but I'm sure others won't find this one as hard to get through as I did, so if it's your thing, then by all means, enjoy the story. It's by no means a bad story, it just didn't tick enough of the boxes for me to enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

First, off it must be said that this is one of the best put together LitRPG series written to date! From start to finish it has been amazingly well-written and even more thought has clearly been put in to this series down to even the small details you won't find anything that just doesn't make sense or will you find plot lines that their only point is to move the story to its completion.
It also very clear that the author did not just want to put in throwaway characters to move the story along every character that you come across has a point and is vital to the story in some way shape or form. That fact alone makes me love the whole series. But more specifically in this book, it was simply everything that I was looking for in the last book it was an absolute treat to listen to I highly recommend this book the only bad thing about this book is that it came to an end.

Alert

I hate trying to write reviews because there are really only pass/fail results for me. Did I make it all the way through? Yes? 5 stars. No? There would be nothing here to read. In all fairness, if an author holds my attention from page one to the end, they’ve done their job. Anything less than 5 stars is petty criticism from someone incapable of even doing the job let alone doing a better one.

So in respect for the author and their work, I am going to start pasting this along with a generic review I found somewhere. “This was a fun book. I am glad that I read it. You should try it too.”

Cheers
