I’m not your “normal” writer. I didn’t aspire from a young age to become a writer. My last day of high school, my English teacher said, “There is a book in each of you. Whether it’s a how-to, non-fiction, fiction—find that book.” I thought, right.

My hubby reads a lot, so I began to pick up the books he’d buy—mysteries and thrillers. But he traveled, so I only read while he was in town…too scared to sleep by myself. LOL. Years later, hubby and I planned a trip to an amusement park with the kids, and since I can’t ride roller coasters anymore, I went to B&N and picked up a book. A romance. I read all day and stayed up most of the night to finish the book. After that, I read every romance I could find.

I’d always kept my teacher’s words in the back of my mind, “There is a book in you,” and sat down one day to write a scene that kept playing in my mind. The floodgates on my imagination opened and before I knew what a critique partner was, I’d written four books (I use the word “written” very loosely, they needed a tremendous amount of work).

I never planned it, never dreamed about it, never expected to get such joy from it, but writing has become a vital part of my life.

Being the youngest of five children (my hubby the youngest of seven), much of my writing centers around family and relationships. I thank my parents for their example of how to live a life of love and happiness. And I thank my siblings, in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends for their constant support and encouragement.

I live near Houston, Texas, with my real-life hero husband (the man is my inspiration each and every day) and our two children—who fill my heart to overflowing. I am blessed beyond belief and tickled to be able to write the stories of my heart.

Exciting, suspenseful and romantic, this novel hit all the right notes for me. In this second book in the series, we once again meet the Brinton brothers who are on a quest to discover the whereabouts of their childhood friend and fellow comrade-in-arms, Nate Cheswick. Suspecting that there is a traitor on the loose, Graham and Tristan draw on their past experiences to find answers to the trail of breadcrumbs left by Nate. Graham's concentration is somewhat disturbed by the arrival of Constance Lansing, whose grace, wit and kind heart speak to him in a way that he has never before experienced. Constance, in turn, is deeply attracted to Graham and despite knowing that her family has plans for her to marry a family acquaintance, she finds herself giving away part of her heart. When Graham leaves for parts unknown to find Nate, Constance has to choose whether to adhere to her father's request or to wait for him. The novel is well written, fast-paced and romantic and although my heart was in my throat at one point, the plot did come to a happy and successful close. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

ears ago when Tristan was working for the government, word was received that he had been killed. That was when Graham took over the Viscountcy. Later, when Tristan was found to be alive, Graham gladly returned the title to his brother. Now, Tristen is happily married to Millicent and they plan to open a bakery.

Millicent has invited her friend Miss Constance Lansing to visit with her in London for some months as she helps her open her bakery. Constance has just received an unexpected proposal from a childhood friend but promised to give him her answer when she returns from London.

Graham and Constance quickly become friends and both realize they have so much in common. Constance is very passionate about caring for animals and does not approve of hunting. This sparks numerous discussions between the two.

When the bakery opens, it’s a huge success and everyone participates in helping out.

When encrypted news comes about Nate, Graham and others head out into dangerous territory to see is they can rescue him. Will they be too late? Will Constance now have to return home and marry a man she does not love?

There is certainly a lot of action in this book. We see the development of love, in addition to nail biting scenes of a daring attempt to rescue a man from evil people. I think that readers will certainly not become bored reading this book.

I've read many of Tess St. John's books and have yet to be disappointed. I previously read Claiming Lady Brinton and enjoyed the start of this series with its blend of drama, danger, suspense/intrigue and romance. Saving Lord Cheswick brings a similar blend, catching my interest and keeping it through to the end. In this story, Constance believes she is destined to live a bland life with a man she has known her whole life... he is kind, but does not excite her. She goes to London to see her cousin, Lady Brinton, as a last hurrah of sorts. There she meets Graham, brother-in-law to her cousin. She is instantly taken with him, and he her. There is the mystery of what has happened to Nate, friend, former comrade, and husband of the woman he once thought he would spend his life with. She asks for his help finding Nate. Danger abounds as secrets are revealed. The sparks between Constance and Graham are incredible, and while they both hope for more, will it be possible? An entertaining story and one that leaves me anxious to find out what will happen next in this series.

Constance has waited all her life for her prince to come, but has had no suitors. When Hamish, a childhood friend who is kind but who Constance does not love proposed marriage Constance delayed her acceptance until she returned from London where she is going to visit her cousin Millicent who has recently married. Graham, Millicent's brother-in-law who drinks too much to forget the war and his lost love sees Constance and proceeds to show her around London and in her found a reason to let up on his excessive drinking. Just when things are getting interesting between Graham and Constance, Graham is suddenly called away on a dangerous rescue mission of one of his friends and Constance returns home. Will Graham survive the mission and will Constance agree to marry a man she has no affection for? This is another fabulous well written book by Tess St. John. I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review. I definitely want to read the next book in this series.

Graham is thrilled to have his brother home and to be no longer be the Viscount. He is unsure what he is going to do with his life until until he bumps into a fairy in his garden. Her name is Constance. She has come to London to visit her cousin while she thinks about a marriage proposal she has got. She is considered to be a little weird by society standards because she loves animals and nature. She is beautiful and has a sunny and inquisitive nature. Graham and Constance start an adventure that got interrupted when he has go abroad to rescue one of his friends. On his return he goes after what his heart wants and Constance gets her Prince.

Jude 💜s books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lord Cheswick is saved.

This is the second book in this wonderful series by Tess St John.
This is a must read series.

We first met Graham in the first book,
Claiming Lady Brinton.

I am so pleased the author wrote a book.with Graham as the lead character.

This is a stand alone book, however there is some history in the first book, that would clarify some parts of this book.

There is so much that I want to tell you about this book.
However I am aware it may ruin the book for the next reader.

Please read the authors introduction blurb for more details on this book.

I will definitely be reading the  next book in this series.

This is what I call the perfect story. It has adventure, suspense, humor, and romance. The storyline was intriguing and really kept me engaged throughout the whole book. Constance and Graham were both wonderful and endearing characters. Ms. St. John does an excellent job of shaping the characters well and bringing them to life, and you can't help but become invested in them and their story. Their witty banter was perfect and always put a smile on my face. This is a really great series, and I can't wait to read more!

I received this book as an advanced reader's copy and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.

Baking your way to my heart

Constance has come to town to help her cousin lady Milicent with the new bakery! Graham is Milicent brother-in-law! Graham drinks quite a bit to full the pain in his life! Constance is to stay for a while then return to marry her comfortable sweetheart Hamish! Constance knows there's more to life than their quaint little inn! Constance meets Graham and knows she found the one but Graham pulls away from her! What if Graham still loves his childhood sweetheart? Will Graham secret mission make her an available widow? Graham knows he may not survive this mission? Will Constance wait in case Graham does return back to her? Love this series!!!

Fantastic

This is the second book in the series and is as good as the first. I like the way the characters from the first book continue to be part of the story. I am looking forward to reading book three. My criticism written in my review of book one still stands, the British have rubbish tins, not trash cans, it doesn't match the London/English story when it has so much American language. However putting this aside it was a great story that l had difficulty putting down. Thank you.

Thrilling, well-developed storyline full of suspense and romance. The Brinton Brothers return, they must wade through the secrets and intrigue if they are going to be successful in finding their friend. When Graham finds himself attracted to Constance, his thoughts are distracted. She is definitely not like other women he has known before. When his search becomes dangerous, will he be able to make it home to Constance? This is a wonderful story and I found it very hard to put it down.

Excellent Story

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Not your typical Regency tale with endless parties, balls and drives in the park, it focuses on the details of its wonderful characters. The intriguing plot, with plenty of twists and turns, keeps you turning pages long after bedtime.
I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book and so enjoyed it that I bought my own copy. I can definitely recommend it to you.

Another awesome book in the Regency Redemption Series. This story is filled with love, intrigue, and betrayal. While searching for his friend, Lord Cheswick, Graham Brinton finds a "fairy" in his gardens by the name of Constance Lansing. Their attraction is strong, but will it be enough when Graham leaves London to save his friend. The characters are wonderful. I am looking forward to the next one.

This book was a little too disjointed for my taste. I liked Constance and Graham was alright. I didn't care for his profanity and it was too steamy for me. Sometimes it seemed it couldn't decide if it was a romance, a business proposition, or a spy story. Side characters came and went with no discernible backstory.

Short and just what I wanted

An easy going Regency HEA even with some rescuing across the English Channel to accomplish. Graham and Constance are likable characters and their teasing lightened the story.

After the first book in this series, I was so excited to read Saving Lord Cheswick. First can I say is that cover not fabulous? Without reading a word the title and cover drew me in and I have to say this story was as wonderful as the first! Intrigue, suspense, humor, attraction and adventure that will take you through quickly, anxious to find out what will happen next!
Their first meeting was magical. Well at least Graham Brinton thought she was a beautiful fairy as he tried to make his way into the house without falling on his face!
Constance Lansing is in London to visit her cousin, who is opening up a bakery and she is there to help her. Her father had requested she marry a man that had been her friend since childhood but she did not love him in that way. She was suppose to make a decision when she returned home. When she meets her friend's brother in law, Graham, she thinks him handsome and is attracted.
But Graham is on a mission to find Lord Cheswick who is missing, and although he may have gone deep undercover, it is a concern no one has heard from him.
Tess St John always brings her characters alive and I quickly become pulled into their thoughts and lives. Loved, Loved this story and Constance and Graham and it truly cannot wait until the next in this series! Perfect!
