Sarah J. Stone brings you the best of paranormal romance. Get ready for thrilling, hot, adventures with happily ever after endings and no cliffhangers.
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and this book was even better. It was great to get a peek at Blaine and Gails life as is progresses too. As Sarah, Gail, Mary and the Dragons begin to unravel the past, romance blooms in many unexpected places. Sarah had quite an internal battle before she excepted her fate.
I was gripped to the plot and look forward to seeing where this will go.

This is the second book in this series, https://www.goodreads.com/series/270340. I knew that Nathanial was going to be an interesting character and he did not disappoint. Nathanial is just trying to learn more about this world and is still heartbroken about the 'love of his life, Mary'. He believes that she was the one for him, even though he dragon did not scream at him to claim her.
When a mystery is thrown his way he is tasked to find out how to release the Fire Dragons. There he meets Sarah, a descendant of Mary. He is at alls trying to recolie why he and his dragon feel such longing for Sarah when they both did not feel the same about Mary. After some talking with Gail and some soul searching he realizes that he was never in love with Mary but in fact just in lust.
Throughout this story the werewolves have lost all rational thought. It looks like there is going to be war and also the wolves have been doing naughty things for centuries. I am looking forward in seeing what the wolves have done in their entirety.
The narration was bad. I loved the narration of Blaine, but it seems as though someone else took over. It is very easy for a story to come across chessy especially for a paranormal book. If I was not so accustomed to Sarah J. Stone's writing I would feel this book was just that. I cannot listen to another book narrated by him.
Colorado author Sarah J. Stone absorbed the beauties of Aspen as a child and those perceptions of nature are evident in her books. After University, as a postgraduate, the non-writing part of her career led her to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she worked to prevent abuses in human rights. But when she writes she re-enters the world of fantasy and escapes with us into the realm of shape shifter and dragon tales.
Sarah’s series DRAGON ELEMENTS found an entirely fresh world. Even her opening pages of each story suggest we are going to a place we have not thought about before now. The atmospheric setting makes Sarah’s paranormal dragon stories seem feasible: ‘Nathanial Snow stood in the graveyard nest to the old stone church in Port Jameson. When he and his brothers had been locked away by angry werewolves, the church and the graveyard had been no more than twenty years old. The stones had all been freshly carved, and it was well maintained. Now, over two hundred years later, time and the weather had worn away at each of the stones and attempted to erase those they had been placed there to memorialize. It had taken him longer to find the right stone, tucked in a pretty corner of the old churchyard. Maria Jensen had been the great love of his life. The woman had been fiery and stunningly beautiful. She was so flirtatious and mischievous that he found it very hard to imagine that her bones lay beneath the ground.’ Then of course Sarah enters….
And so the story opens and Nathanial reflects – ‘I’ve waited for her for more than a century. Sarah is my second chance at love and I’m not about to let her go. I was shattered when the wolves killed my woman a hundred years ago. But Sarah’s soul has healed me. I’m drawn to her in a way that seems unreal. But the ghosts of my past still linger. I’ll have to overcome countless dangers for her. She’s the one for me… and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine.’
In both her shifter series and this new dragon series Sarah has captured our imagination wholly. Strong stories well told and Sarah is a leader!
Nathaniel has been charged with the duty to go to the historical society to research a riddle that the wolves taught to their children after the dragons had been imprisoned for over two hundred years. Maria was his long lost love and it is her ancestral home where the historical society is located. When Nathaniel sees Sarah, he knows that she is his mate and he will stop at nothing to ensure that she remains safe. Sarah is an historian who Gail is sure that can figure out the locations of the dragons who have been forced into a prison with no way of getting out of without help. Todd is a wolf shifter and a friend of Gail and Sarah helps them with the spell that needs to be said once they are in the place where the dragons are held. Sarah works out where the seven sisters is located and with the help of Mary, Todd's sister, they are able to release the fire dragons. Now they need to release the water dragons and find the fire dragons sister Grace. Now we wait for the next book. This series is a fantastic venture into danger, romance and intrigue. Sarah J. Stone really knows how to capture her audience and keep them hanging onto every word. I have fallen in love with the Dragons and their fight against the wolves to live free lives. I was ensnared from page one till the last page of this book and the previous one. I cant wait till they are all written and published. Well worth reading.

Nathanial Snow is one of the dragons that were trapped in a spell for over 200 years. Now that they have been released they must find allies to help them in their fight with the wolves that caused their entrapment. The dragons are sure that more groups are being magically held somewhere, but where?
Sarah Jensen is eerily like that woman that Nathanial loved 200 years ago. A member of the same family, Sarah donated the house that Maria once lived in to the Historical Society and lives in a small apartment above it. When a strange man shows up and saves her from falling down a flight of stairs, she is not sure why she is immediately infatuated with him. He seems to be just as smitten with her, at least until he suddenly runs out.
Nathanial cannot believe that Sarah is his mate. He had known that Maria was not, even though he didn't tell his brothers that at the time. He had tried to force the mating bond to form with her, but it never had. He knew now what the bond felt like and Sarah was his for sure. Now all he had to do was convince a human woman that he was her mate, and a dragon to boot. On top of that he had to protect her from the wolves and hope that she could help them solve the riddle about where other dragons were trapped.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
I love this series and this is book 2 of the Dragon Elements and this is Nathaniel’s and Sarah’s story. Nathaniel lost his first mate over 200 years ago and he believed that it wouldn’t happen again but it does when he meets Sarah but she looks so much like his first love that he lost. Sarah works in the Historical Society building and when she see’s Nathaniel she knows that she is his she doesn’t know why she just feels it inside, long ago that’s where Nathaniel met his Maria she is exactly the same. Nathaniel goes to the society to see Sarah to see if she can help with a nursery rhyme that was left by the wolves so he can free the other dragons but Sarah is attacked by the wolves and Nathaniel arrives just in time but Sarah is wondering if it’s her he’s saving or his Maria. Fantastic story and I can’t wait for the next book in this series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I received an ARC edition of this book from the author.
Although I did like seeing Sarah and Nathanial get their HEA, this story felt too much like it was just a bridge between the first book and the next story. Some of the elements from Gail's story seemed duplicated in Sarah's story, especially with the childhood friend being in love with her without her realizing how obsessed he's becoming (really could have been left out of this story). Although I liked seeing Nathanial getting an HEA, the issues that happened between Sarah and Nathanial all got solved far too quickly. Even though this story was supposed to be in part of solving the mystery of the riddle discovered in the first book, but it kept getting pushed aside and then felt solved far too quickly. I'm hoping the next book will get a bit more depth between the MCs.
Nathaniel thought he had lost his mate once but when he meets Sarah he feels the difference. Dragon shifter Nathaniel Snow had loved Maria Jensen but around the time they had been imprisoned she had been murdered. Her home is now the Historical Society and he is going there to meet Sarah Jensen a descended from her family line and who reportedly looks like Maria. When he sees her his emotion blaze to life like they had never done for Maria so instead of talking to her about the riddle of the other dragon shifters he leaves abruptly. Sarah is shocked by her reaction to the handsome stranger and hopes he will come back to see her.

What a great story this was to read, i loved reading Nathanials story. He is the second of the brothers to find his mate. But what he didnt expect was to find her in the Historical Building where his first loved lived. He spotted her the minute she came down the stairs pausing in the same place his first love did. But these feelings he has for Sarah are more intense. Even though she is his mate she has to determind wheather he loves her because she looks like his old love or for her herself? And also the wolves try to kill her, but theres a surprise on the horizon, a little help from someone unexpected.
If you loved book one then you will love this story, but these books can be read by themselves. Definately worth one clicking
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Nathaniel by Sarah J. Stone is the second book in the Dragon Elements series. I really enjoyed this read. I think this is largely because the momentum of the first book propels the storyline in the second. There is amazing character chemistry and sweet heat. This highly addictive series follows a different couple in each book, but you get plenty of interaction with the previous couple. Hopefully, this transitions forward. A fun read with an emotional rollercoaster and sizzling love scenes. I am definitely hooked and highly recommend the series to anyone who has enjoyed Christine Feehan or Ilona Andrews.

This is the second book of a wonderful series. Nathanial meets Sarah at the Historical Society building and she literally falls in his arms tripping on the stairs. At once his dragon claims her as his mate but because Sarah looks like his dead lost love Maria, Nathanial is full of guilt. He struggles inside between what his dragon wants and what his human side wants. With the help of his friends and them working together to solve a riddle, can they find happiness? Can Nathanial protect Sarah from the wolves who imprisoned the dragons? This story about Sarah and Nathanial that has quick instant attraction with steamy romance with a hint of danger and mystery was enjoyable to read and review via booksprout. ARC
Good things happen to those who wait. Nathanial mourning Maria thought she was his fated mate. He was slightly inconsolable in what he thought would be his infinite lonliness. Then he met Sarah who strongly resembled Marie. He was confused but, he felt the mate pull. Who is this woman? Sarah, had feelings for Nate she never felt before. Can Sarah help Nate solve the riddle in time to find the fire dragons? Does Sarah really feel endearing love for Nathanial? Will they solve the riddle in time? Will the men in Sarah's live who crush on her accept Nathanial? Do they know more than they say? This story is an excellent continue on the dragons' quest. You can feel the love, the pull Nathanial feels. Excellent story! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

☄️This author start off with a bang and keep it going till the end. Yep just you wait the end is an eye opener.
Another action packed book to the Dragon Elements series. This is Nathanial and Sarah's story. She once again brings her story to life with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes and pulls you in with all the intrigue and action as well as the smokin hot chemistry. She adds in suspense and a surprise at the end. I was hooked from start to finish and still left with wanting more in the end. I can't wait for the next book! Loving this series! Highly recommend to all the dragon lovers out there!

In the second book of the Elemental Dragons Nathaniel, whose love to Mary had started the dragons' imprisonment for 200 years, meets a descendant of her family, Sarah and recognises her as his mate. But guilt over Mary's death makes him hesitate to claim her. On the side the dragons are trying to solve a riddle to free other dragons, that had been imprisoned by the wolves. The story could probably still be read as a stand-alone, but knowing the first book definitely makes it easier, as one has more information on the dynamics between the dragons and the wolves as well as Nathaniel's background story. This is the second book in the Dragon Elemental series and it is Nathaniel's story
He has finally broken free from the spell that entrapped him and his brothers and has been sent to the historical society to try to get answers about how it happened There he meets Sarah when she falls into his arms after tripping He realise straight away she is his mate but he is confused by the fact that she is the spitting image of his previous love Maria. Can she help him solve his and his brothers past and how the wolves trapped such powerful dragons and can he keep her safe when the wolves attack her You will have to read to see
Nathaniel is the second in the elemental dragon series. He lost the woman he loved decades ago and to the same enemies who now threaten him and his family. Sarah runs the local museum in her ancestral home and is fascinated by her own personal family history. When she meets Nathaniel she thinks he is a descendant of her ancestor Maria's love. They must work their way through the issues that the past raises while fighting the present-day threat. These characters are written in a manner that engages the reader. The plot has enough twists to keep the reader guessing and the action moves the story to its (for now) conclusion.
After the revelation about his past love and a change in opinion by his brothers he feels a weight has been lifted, then he meets Sarah who happens to look just like her ancestor and his love, human love not Dragon love. Sarah doesn't know why she is so bold and honest around Nathaniel but she likes it where as Nathaniel doesn't know how to deal with the attraction and also has to help his brothers work out how to keep the werewolf at bay which leads to frustration, confusion and a chance at real love.
It was devastating for him to lose his first love. Then along comes Sarah who just happens to be a relative of his first love centuries later. He knows she is his but there are so many dangers lurking around to overcome. Great addition to the series. The characters are all amazing together and that makes the story flow nicely. This is the second book of the Dragon Elements series and it continues to get better and better. This story is about Nathaniel and Sarah a sweet romance. A sexy story combining action and characters you won't forget! You will enjoy the ride - the drama, the ups, downs and every pretty little bump in between. I had a VERY hard time putting this book down! Can not wait for the next book!

This story is full of mystery, intrigue, conflict, romance, healing and love. Just because Nathanial and Sarah are destined to be together as mates doesn’t make their journey of getting to know and trust each other any easier. There’s lots going on in this story that kept me interested. It’s a great quick read.

Sometimes a past hurt make the new all that sweeter. In this book you have Nathanial, dragon shifter, Mourn for a past but that is no longer in the world. Finding out she was killed the same day he and his brothers were imprisoned. Never believing he would ever find live agin. Well written Self contained story that’s also part of the series. I recommend this book to read.
I enjoyed both Dragon Elements books 1 & 2. The premise was interesting and the plot fairly well laid out. However, I'm only giving them a three rating because of the awkwardness of the writing. It seems like the author avoids using contractions in her dialog whenever possible. This, along with quite a few editing mistakes, makes the reading flow uneven and detracts from the overall story.
Nathaniel is volunteered to go to the historian building to try and solve a riddle. Gail tells him that Sarah is the best and will help him. The only thing is she looks like his past love. They end up trying to fight their attraction. Will they let go and let their attraction take hold? Can they do it before the enemy tries to keep them apart forever? Intense emotion with the stress of trying to freeing the other dragons, before the wolves stop them.
Nathaniel met and fell in love with Maria, but he and his brothers were imprisoned for centuries. He then met Sarah who was a relative to Maria many generations later and his mate. They must all find the fire dragons and release them for their survival. Good short story.

Nathaniel meets Sarah when he is asked to check the old history for the meaning of a spell so that they can release the Water Dragons which were spelled by the wolves. The wolves are still looking for Mary and causing trouble.. A brilliant, entertaining read loved the storyline and the characters and look forward to reading more about these dragons.
