MY THOUGHTS:
If you enjoyed Part 1 & 2 then you won’t be disappointed with parts 3 through to 6. The drama continues for Dante and Erin as the bond grows stronger, leaving too many unanswered questions.
Well written and fast paced I really enjoyed the suspense and mystery build up this series brings.

There is so much development in these 4 parts your captivating and invested in the story. Each part is a quick read and will have you grabbing at the next one eagerly to get more of the story. This would make a great TV Series!

I look forward to the release of parts 7,8 & 9 to see how it all ends.

“This is us, my love. This is us. Once bonded, never broken.”

Goodreads Rating:4.69/My Rating 5.00

Review:
This has fast become an addictive story for me. With a new line of vampires that are not made, instead they are born into vampirism, I am immersed in the story and the lore. The blood bond is something that happens when a human becomes a source of feeding for a specific vampire and will die if they do not feed the vampire; however, in modern times, they do not know that this bond exists. This is what I came to understand un the book.

Dante is strongly attracted to Erin. He does not know if it is solely because of this bond or if it is an attraction as well. Going places, he finds himself at her place wanting her desperately. Furthermore, he touches her and feels an electric impulse to have his way with her. She feels the same way. A robust sexual urge to give herself to Dante, even though she barely knows him.

Dante starts having more flashbacks about his time in captivity. The captor did something while he was in captivity that let him escape his bonds. He is, in a way, longing to find answers for. Dante turns to his grandfather, who seems to know more than he lets on. Giving Dante a story or a solution that borders on the ridiculous sends Dante rushing to River's house for more answers about Bill's condition.

But there's more.

Much more.

Erin has no idea that Dante is a vampire and that he drinks blood as sustenance and certainly has no clue about this blood bond. He tries to dance around the subject thinking of ways to bring the truth to her. River and Bill, on the other hand, are trying to make him tell her outright, while he decides to ease into it.

Bill does something dastardly. A mysterious vampire shows up to Erin giving her advice about Dante and his family on the street and in her home.

This book propelled the story along, and I was so enchanted with the way Dante acted with such self-control given what he is and what little he knew about his vampirism. He certainly had more than enough opportunity to taste Erin and did not. This book has plenty of sexy scenes to make me blush ( anyone for that matter)!

The language was clean and crisp, and the writing was smooth and to get through. I finished the 117 pages in a matter of 3 hours before I met up with book 4. This book continued seamlessly from the series from books 1 and 2 and did not stagger or hesitate.

Writing:
The writing was outstanding and I liked her prose. The characters had their voice and personality. I was not displeased with the way it was written at all. The prose was easy enough that the book could be read in a manner of a few hours.

Plot:
The plot was carried forth from books 1 and 2. The subplots were also a carryover. A new one was added in this book and will likely show up in book 4 and 5, perhaps the entire series. I will have to find out. The seamless quality of the plots gave way to a cliffhanger that would make a reader want to read the next book in the series for sure.

What I liked:
I liked the characterization of the vampires the best. They were designed as more human than the creature, and that is something that is not usually done. In most dramas, vampires are undead creatures of the night that kill without mercy. In this book, they do not. I liked Erin's character, even though she seemed a little but air-headed at times. She was a good match for Dante, and I thought the author did a good job designing her.

What I Did Not Like:
I did not like the abrupt end, like in all of her books. The cliffhangers are all abrupt. They are a little jarring, so you almost HAVE to read the next book to find out what the heck is going on. It's near as if a whole paragraph was erased.

Overall Impression:
This is an excellent series to get into if you are not a fan of romance per se but love paranormal/supernatural elements. While there is romance, it is not the basis of this book series. It is part of the story, but not the main event. I like it and intend to finish it.

Vampires, a blood bond, love, sex, and a mystery villain. I know these stories aren’t for everyone, but I really enjoy erotica with a story and am a sucker for supernatural beings. I will definitely continue on to the next saga.

4 Getting Better Stars

I got the first three books in audio (lumped into one) and so after finishing the “book” I will have to say this. This isn’t the type of series I can binge read. It’s really up and down and the draggy parts are exhausting. Now, noticing there will be 9 parts of the series, this would be good to read a section here and there.

I’m not sure if I can do another audio version of this series. This might be a book where I have to read to get through the parts quickly, although I really do enjoy the narrators. I like the male narrator more than the female narrator, only because I really like his deep voice (when I usually don’t like deep voices).

I am happy to say that the series is getting better. I was really disappointment with the second part, but it looks like this one picked up a bit.

Dante and Erin are working through their relationship and I feel like a few milestones were happening in this part. I like that we get a little bit more of the Vampire history and Dante seems to be working through his demons, but he still has them. He has a lot of demons to work through. I don’t really like that the Queen is in his head only because I don’t her voice, goes to show the narrators are pretty good at voice transitions.

I think at this part of the series, I wouldn’t mind if we got a little bit of the secondary characters just to break up the Dante and Erin saga. I really should eat my words because usually I am not a fan of the secondary character storyline, but I think this would pick up the pace of the book a bit more.

Overall, I found this one okay and slightly good. I really don’t like the Epilogue only because it’s the Queen’s POV and it’s too much of a “down-on-you” kind of feel. I really don’t like that.

For now I am going to take a break from the series but I will pick it back up.

Wow... although these instalments are short, they are fulfilling, I can’t get enough! Part 3 starts off where part 2 ends. A few questions are answered but more mystery start to arise, Dante and Erin FINALLY let into their desire for one another and things get heated! Dante questions this blood bond between him and Erin, and if it’s real. Grandpa Bill is hiding something, I can feel it! Erin isn’t herself, she seems to be all over the place, forgetting simple tasks like locking the door, things aren’t right in her head, she thinks she’s seeing people that aren’t really there. While all this is going on Dante and Erin become closer and Dante fears for Erin and her wellbeing. He tries not to let his desire pull him closer to her but it seems as though his attempts at staying away are failing.

All in all this instalment was amazing, and I never doubted it wouldn’t be. Helen loves to keep us on our toes, she’s the queen of cliffhangers and the way she writes, her ability to write in every detail and more makes you fall deeper and deeper into the plot, making it easy to picture what is happening, She holds your attention and doesn’t let it go and leaves you hanging! Extremely well written.

Blood Bond by Helen Hardt is part three in the Blood Bond Saga. The story continues of Dante Gabriel and Erin Hamilton. This Saga is a 6 part story line that is a really exciting page turner read. You get done with one book and you just want the other one right away.
Dante is bring up questions he has about what happened in the past and what is going on now. Dante is still fighting the voices in his head too. But he is still very protective of Erin even more so now that her memory seems to be having issue along with things she is seeing that are question if they are really there.
This series is a edge of your one for sure.

Erin, is Dante's blood bond. If she doesn't feed him, she will die, or so it is believed.
There are so many strange things happening, since meeting, Dante. Erin, has had a lot of forgetfulness and seeing people who clearly aren't there.
At the hospital, there is the mystery of why do much B+ blood is needed over any other.
The voices in, Dante's head continue to torture him. But, he and Erin, finally consummate their relationship.
Dante is concerned, that Bill, might have more info about his abduction, than he has told. Is he lying? Dante, also came to the realization that he didn't escape, he was let loose. And he, and those he loved, Erin, could be in danger.
Dang, Helen, could you do any better at keeping me in the edge?
I'm dying. Can't wait to see how this story plays out. As always 5 glorious stars awarded.

If you enjoyed Blood Bond Saga parts 1 and 2, you will certainly enjoy this installment of the series! The story of Dante and Erin has easily become a new favorite way to torture myself! The books just end too quickly and always on a cliff hanger! I really wish they were longer or that they were combined (1 and 2 into one book and 3 and 4 into another). That's just my greed for the story talking though! In Blood Bond 3 we get a recap of the major discovery in part 2, and have a couple questions answered. However, new mysteries are presented and Helen Hardt gives us just a small taste of what's to come. I have my theories, and I can't wait to see if I'm correct!

Erin and Dante's story continues to unwind a little at the time. Dante knows something is off with him but just not sure what, yet! His desire for Erin is unbelievably strong but things are a little unclear, is something off with Erin? Wow I am so excited to see what's next.

Dante & Erin’s Story Is A Paranormal Romance Set In New Orleans. It Is A Quick Read That Will Pull You Into The Mystery Of Who Took Dante Captive & Why. After Escaping Ten Years As A Blood Slave To The Mysterious Queen, He Needs Answers.

Unchained: Blood Bond Volume 1 includes the Blood Bond Saga, Parts 1-3. Each part is a quick read; they are not standalones. The saga is a paranormal romance. It is Dante Gabriel and Erin Hamilton’s story

FROM BLOOD BOND SAGA, PART 1:

Dante Gabriel and his cousin River were like normal teens when they decided to disobey and sneak out to Bourbon Street to attend the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans ten years ago. The problem was that they weren’t normal teens, and they weren’t mature enough to handle the supernatural activity that pervaded such an event. There is a lot of cosmic energy in the air in New Orleans in general thanks to all the voodoo practitioners, and Mardi Gras really tapped into all that concentrated energy. The boys had been warned by their fathers, identical vampire twins, not to go. But eighteen year old Dante and his seventeen year old cousin chose to go anyway. Dante doesn’t remember what happened that night. He doesn’t know what happened to River. He doesn’t even know how much time has passed. All he knows is that he woke up bound. He has been treated horribly in his captivity, and his inability to fight off his captor shames him. He eventually gave up the fight, accepted his fate. He was kept to serve the Queen as a blood slave. But drinking vampire blood is morally distasteful. That along with the unthinkable abuse he has suffered makes him want to tune it out and forget it all. The problem is that he cannot get the Queen’s voice out of his head.

When Dante one day escapes his bonds, suddenly finding himself unchained and free, he just hopes to be able to find his family. But first, he needs blood. He follows the scent to a blood bank, which is where he first sees Erin.

Erin Hamilton, roughly twenty-seven, had followed her boyfriend Cory to New Orleans, but she decided to stay even after their breakup two years ago. She has made a life for herself there, buying her own home. She works at University Hospital just north of the French Quarter, along with Lucy Cyrus, her best friend. Her brother Jay works at the New Orleans Police Department and was just promoted to detective. Erin had always dreamed of becoming a doctor, but her parents never made much money, and the idea of so much debt had her readjust and choose nursing instead. She has worked as an ER nurse for five years now. The ER can be challenging work that is often a matter of life or death. She donates her own blood regularly for the cause. When she needs to grab some blood from the blood bank for a gunshot wound victim late one night, she isn’t prepared for the bloody mess she finds – nor the blood-covered strange man she finds in the middle of it. What surprises her most is her instinctive need to protect him.

As Dante reconnects with his family, he must come to terms with the decade that he lost in his captivity. His father and uncle have been missing since they went in search of him. He feels guilty for all his family went through because of his foolishness. His grandfather, Bill, is the pillar of their family. At 102, he is the oldest living pure vampire and a source of much-needed answers. But Dante isn’t ready to face his grandfather and to come to terms with his time in captivity. He would rather forget it all for now. And thoughts of Erin don’t help matters much. He cannot seem to forget her, even though he should. He isn’t safe until he makes up for lost time and learns more about vampirism, his ancestry, and how to blend into the human world.

Dante and Erin have instant chemistry in this paranormal romance. Dante must hold back despite how much he wants Erin, and Erin gets conflicting messages from the handsome and mysterious stranger. She begins to have doubts as her self-esteem takes a hit. There are a few surprise entanglements that liven things up and keep you on your toes as you read; it looks like there might be more unveiled in the next book. As Dante tries to work through his feelings and reconnect with family, he must battle the Queen’s voice in his head and pray that he doesn’t fall prey to her again.

IN BLOOD BOND SAGE, BOOK 2:

Book one had left off with a cliffhanger just after Dante had finally given into his desire for Erin. Something had stopped him, though. Here we learn that Erin had a mysterious bite mark on her inner thigh, something she was completely unaware of. Still, Dante immediately recognizes it for what it is and is consumed with a myriad of feelings. He wants to protect Erin, to claim her, but is also repulsed by the mark. He knows she had certainly been glamoured, an unsuspecting victim. Dante flees from Erin and his uncontrollable desire for her once again, determined to find out who had bitten her and ensure her safety.

But Dante’s life is still too unsettled for him to do much good at this point. He had disappeared from home at age eighteen, but life had gone on for everyone else. His family had evolved since then. River and Emilia had gone to college. They had careers. River’s father had sat down with him and told him all the secrets that Dante’s grandfather Bill still refuses to share. Bill claims Dante isn’t ready to hear it, that it might add to his trauma. Bill seems changed, too. He spends his time researching, and the compassion that Dante so desperately needs doesn’t come from Bill. The world has changed in ten years, too.

Dante is drowning as he desperately tries to take back his life, but in many ways he is still that eighteen year old late bloomer who disappeared from Bourbon Street. One thing is very certain though. He wants Erin. He feels compelled to be with her. Yet he knows it is wrong to have her when she doesn’t know the truth about him. His Grandpa Bill wants Dante to open up about his years in captivity, but Dante only wants to forget. He wants the knowledge owed him, thinking that is the missing key that will give him perspective and help him move forward. Dante struggles with this and with his attraction to Erin. He is convinced they are somehow destined for one another, and frustrated that River and Bill insist that is impossible.

Meanwhile, Erin begins to piece together some odd bits of information she comes across at the hospital. Cynthia North, a gunshot victim who was brought to the ER the same night that Dante raided the blood bank, had disappeared before suddenly being discovered at the hospital a week later. Erin’s brother Jay and his new partner River investigate. Mrs. Moore, a ninety year old patient, swears that Dr. Bonneville must be the daughter of a physician that had helped with her son’s blood disorder decades ago. Erin feels certain that Cynthia North and Mrs. Moore hold critical information, the nature of which eludes her as of yet. Her curiosity gets the better of her as she begins to investigate.

IN BLOOD BOND SAGA, BOOK 3:

As book two closed, Grandpa Bill’s research had brought him to something that had not been documented in over a thousand years. He thinks that what Dante has been describing as an uncontrollable urge to be with Erin is perhaps a blood bond, a trait that scholars had presumed had long since died out amongst their kind. It is believed to have developed as a defense mechanism by humans, who initiate the bond. The human and vampire bond not just emotionally, but physically as well. They cannot survive without one another. This supposedly was another hit on vampire fertility. Because the human and vampire mated, no pure vampires would result from the match.

Dante has some misgivings with Bill, though. Questions arise as he comes to realize that Bill isn’t quite the same person he was when Dante disappeared at age eighteen. He isn’t convinced he can trust Bill. Above all, he wants to ensure Erin’s safety. Bill insists that the pull Dante feels is coming Erin, but he has a difficult time accepting that notion. The pull Dante feels is internal. He needs Erin. Although Bill’s findings do help explain a lot, Dante isn’t convinced that the explanation is completely accurate.

The theme of vampire fertility continues as Dante and River worry over Emilie’s unplanned pregnancy. She refuses to share information, but River is convinced that the father is Jay Hamilton, his new partner and Erin’s brother.

Erin’s curiosity continues in this book, but she becomes increasingly confused about various little things. Her relationship with Dante continues to be hot and cold, but things begin to turn the corner when he invites her into his home and introduces her to his grandfather.

As Dante finally recognizes his need to get control over his emotions, he opens up to Bill about his time in captivity. Though painful, it is probably a little cathartic, too. Talking about it seems to help him focus a little better. Dante comes to some realizations before the book comes to an end. He eventually asks River for his help in finding out who took him. Things begin to heat up with him and Erin, but his concern for her only increases. He hopes to complete the blood bond with her before shifting his attention to capturing his captor.

Dante and Erin’s story is a paranormal romance set in New Orleans. It is a quick read that will pull you into the mystery of who took Dante captive and why. The short books in the saga read like a serial drama. After escaping ten years as a blood slave to the mysterious Queen, Dante needs answers. We learn that the vampire population is endangered thanks to a fertility issue and the shortage of female vampires. Despite their many genetic advantages, vampires in this drama don’t live forever and have difficulty reproducing. They are a dying breed. The story is well-written and plot-driven. The plot is fairly simple thus far. The characters are still being introduced here, so much remains to be learned. Dante’s constant hot and cold does start to grate – it seems every time he and Erin almost get together, he must leave for one reason or another. The story is told in first person. The POV alternates between Dante and Erin, with the epilogue in the Queen’s POV. I rate this book four stars.

I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

"What Dante and I had shared so far seemed almost …normal to me. Seemed like what I’d been put on the planet for— to be with him."

I can NOT get enough of the Blood Bond Saga. Each installment only gets better than the last. I am so glad Helen Hardt decided to write a paranormal because she is beyond nailing it! Dante and Erin are seriously one of my new favorite book couples! Their chemistry is smoking HOT and consumes the pages of your kindle. The devotion they carry for each other leaves you in a constant state of SWOONS! I just can't read the pages of their story quick enough. The mystery behind this saga is what draws me in most. The author does a great job of keeping you on your toes. For every inch the author gives you, she has another mile of mystery waiting to take it's place. I honestly have no idea how this story is going to end and I LOVE it! My mind is swimming in questions I am desperate to know the answers too. To say I am ready to five into part 4 is a understatement!

“I want to peel every layer of clothing off you and watch as each new inch of skin is exposed. I want to go slowly. I want to savor this night, Erin . I want to savor you.”

Erin has really grown on me this book. I have always liked her character but I'm truly starting to fully connect with her. As her connection grows with Dante steadily coming into herself. Shes much less naive this book as well. Shes finally starting to see bits and pieces she's missed previously. Erin is finally starting to have questions arise and the mystery is only growing with each answer she discovers.

“But why are you here?” He chuckled against the top of my head. “Because no matter what happens in my life, I always feel like I should be here. With you.”

Dante is seriously one of the most consiming vampires I have read. His draws you in with his mystery, while sinking you with his charm. Dante is so passionate about every thing he does. I can't count the number of times he had me melting into a puddle of swoons! I mean seriously, EVERYTHING about him is SMOKING HOT! I also love that his character is also so vulnerable. That vulnerability squeezes my heart every time. Your heart definitely breaks for him when the demons of his past take hold.

*5 STARS*
Is never truly a good enough rating for each installment to this saga. I really wish I could give it the 10 it deserves.

*I voluntarily read a advanced copy!*

Are we ever going to get out of the introductions and setup for this story? I thought since part 1-3 were all together in Unchained and it was over 340 pages that it would be a story in and of itself. Nope - still introducing all the moving parts. I think we got all the characters, but we are still defining them and their relationships with each other. Possible romance between Dante's sister and Erin's brother. Secret bites unexplained. Sinister doctor. Grandfather acting goofy. Interest between Dante's cousin/best friend and Erin's best friend.

Also the worldbuilding keeps expanding - introducing paranormals Dante was never aware of since he was stolen as a child. And each time he blows up and says not possible. Each time a new aspect of being a vampire is pulled from the mists of yore, he blows up and asks why him? Each strange and unexpected things, Dante blows up ... and you get the picture.

I understand he has gone through trauma and isn't talking about it to people. Well, they keep demanding he tell them instead of just providing him an ear to listen and a safe place to talk. It only has been a few days since his escape from 10 years of torture. Really folks. Basic care isn't that hard.

Anyway, I'm tired of the blow-ups, the drawn together by fate and then the run aways. It's too long. I'm not hanging around another 300 pages to get to the midpoint.

Oh wait - the story is 15 parts long - midpoint would be in part 8 - so make that 500 more pages.

At 100(+) pages, it is about 1/3 of a romance book. I picked it up in the "Unchained" version - where parts 1-3 had been gathered under one title. Each segment of the 15 parts (so far, as of May 2019) of Blood Bond are $2.99 - grouped in 5 segments of 3 parts, those go for about six to seven dollars each. You save money buying the grouped version.

As we begin where we left off there is more to Dante and Erin's blood bond and there are more questions than answers. I couldn't put it down! This is part 3 of a long series. Worth every part so far! Helen you have done such a great job with pulling the reader in and not letting them go till the end in which there is still more. You have given us mystery, passion, and suspicion.
Erin is Dante's blood bond and she must feed him her blood or she will die. Erin has become more forgetful in this continuation and she is now in a different kind of danger too. Dante and Erin have consummated their relationship of the strong pull between them. Can Dante convince Erin of the blood bond after he drinks from her or will she never want to see Dante again? Dante is on the verge of insanity with talking to his grandfather and him suggesting that he is being watched over by a ghost (who I think is watching over Erin too), but his trust in his grandfather is waning. There are things he can't explain to himself and Erin has things happening that she can't fathom, will these two find answers or more questions as the saga continues to develop?

Dante knows about the blood bond and that makes him question everything he feels for Erin. He needs to convince her to complete the bond or else their lives would be at risk. The Vampire race is on he verge of extinction and no human believes in them. How could her possibly explain all this to Erin? More than that how will her stop her from running away?

Erin doesn't understand Dante's behaviour but that didn't stop her from falling for him. Things have started getting more and more suspicious at work and she's determined to get to the root of it all. Unaware of the danger that surrounds her from all sides, Erin ventures deeper into the World of Vampires and bloodlust.

Omg?? If I thought things would get easier than I was dead wrong.

Dante is still his amazing brooding self and honestly I love his grump hate and cold routine because he can be sugary sweet too. His connection with Erin is so raw and pure, I can't get enough of it. I keep worrying about Erin's life constantly and it's like please just make these two happy.

It feels like things are finally getting to the crucial point and I am desperate for the next installments. This story is super engaging and well written. Can't wait to see more of Erin and Dante.

I. Can't.
So I picked up this series hoping for a little PNR pick me up after reading a very dry novel. You can imagine my surprise when i was introduced to Erin the "ER nurse" as I am also an emergency room nurse.
I purposely avoid any books related to my job because it makes me feel as if i never had a break from work. And here this turd of a series comes walking in. I found another reason to avoid books related to emergening nursing...they are inherently inaccurate. I was willing to forgive the "Yes, doctor" responses she gave the physicians (gag) but when the author had the character shock a flatline heart rate after trying to sell that a woman went into cardiac arrest due to the flu, I was highly annoyed. And i wont even mention having a Nurse go to another hospital trying to get blood from their lab. What in the actual f? Advise: there are hundreds of thousands of medical professionals out there who hope that people don't think that this is how medicine actually works. Do your research. Hire a consultant.
On another note, insta-love stories arent really my thing. Neither are stories where a woman will continually degrade her self worth by repeatedly seeing a man who had rejected her several times.
Also...can we stop it with the word "pussy"? So gross.

Dante Gabriel finds out how relationships work. Erin Hamilton is still helping people – she has a real compassion. By the time you get to the end of chapter two you’ll realize that this is a saga that needs to be read in order – events that have happened previous to this.

I was happy to see that I’m able to continue my Blood Bond soap opera. It’s a series where the books are short, which is good for me. Now that the weather is changing that means more yard work. Since I can get this finished in just a couple of hours, it leaves me plenty of time to get some other things done.

This story continues to tease me with the continuing connection between the main characters. Dante is conflicted about how to handle things. And so is Erin. The secondary characters stay mostly in the background with this one. It lets us really get to know how Dante and Erin are working at being a couple. I’m invested in this series now and there’s no way I can stop here.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Blood Bond Saga: Part 3 by Helen Hardt is the continuation of Date and Erin's story. Dante is still trying to figure out this blood bond. He is still trying to figure out how to deal with Erin and his feelings for her. He now has issues with his grandfather and if he really escaped or if he was let go. Erin too has things going on with her that she is having a hard time coming to terms with. She is starting to put some pieces together but she is not quite sure what is real and what is not. As both Dante and Erin are growing closer the question is whether the feelings are real or if is part of the blood bond. Still so many questions. What is the Queens plan? She is still lurking and who is she really. Looking forward to the next book. Hoping more of my questions will be answered. This story has me wanting to know more. 4 stars

Helen Hardt has once again done an amazing job of telling a story. In Part 3 we discover more about Dante and Erin's blood bond. Dante believes Bill isn't telling him every thing but doesn't know why. Erin has her own mystery going on at work, why are they short on B positive blood all the time. She also feels like a sweet little old lady that died in the ER had something to important to tell her and sets out of find her family. And there is something strange about Dr. Zabrina Bonneville. Some questions answered and so many new ones asked.

I love Helen's writing style and ability to create such in depth stories that keep you going right to the end. Some how she manages to bring it all together in the end. If you are a lover of paranormal romance and suspense grab Part 1 and start reading you won't be sorry.

This Saga just keeps getting better and better every installment!

Erin and Dante are blood bonded. She must feed Dante her blood or she will die, at least that’s what is believed. Erin is starting to become forgetful and strange things are happening! She’s seeing people who aren’t there. Mysterious things are going on all around her like missing blood from the blood bank.

Dante is hearing the voices of those who tortured him and they are as real as if they were in the room with him. It’s making him feel insane. These two finally reach consummation and it’s magical for them, but he has so many questions.

Does Bill know more about the abduction and the blood bond then he is letting on? Why was he let go? Is he putting Erin in danger? So many questions he needs answers to and he’s not getting them

What do you do when the very thing that is your salvation could ultimately be your destruction? As Dante digs deeper in to the inexplicable bond that ties Erin to him he discovers answers he would have rather left buried. This woman in such a short time has become everything and when he learns that fate has dealt them a hand that will be very tough to play. Dante already knows he is in very deep with Erin and the very idea of hurting her is abhorrent to him. Erin is done denying the inescapable pull that Dante has over her and will no longer let anything keep her from the bliss she feels in his arms. It seems like fate has brought them together and who is she to cast that aside? But is it truly fate at play or something else at work?

Herein lies the Paradox...

Dante and Erin's relationship has developed and grown, but there are still many unanswered questions looming over their heads. Dante now recognizes that Erin's blood bond connection to him will forever keep her by his side. Erin is struggling with her new addiction to Dante. Since she has met him, she has been experiencing forgetfulness and is seeing visions she believes cannot be real. Dante believes that Grandpa Bill knows more than he says. Dante does not feel he is the same man he knew 10 years ago.

The voices in Dante's head are getting stronger and more frequent and he is worried everything is coming to a head. Their story is building to what I believe will be an explosive chain of events. I cannot wait to see how this story unfurls.

Dante and Erin share a bond that defies all, a blood bond, or so it seems. Erin can think of nothing else, but Dante, day and night. She knows that her desire for him goes beyond her wildest imagination.
How can she survive knowing she is in love with a vampire? Everything she ever believed in has turned upside down. People are missing, mysterious men are lurking at the oddest times, and someone has been feeding on her. Who?
Dante knows his Grandfather is keeping secrets. He must find a way to decipher the text to learn more about the blood bond, but "her" voice always gets in the way.
Helen Hardt will hold you suspended on the edge of the ledge as she takes you further into New Orleans where vampires, ghosts, and those with sight own Erin and Dante's every move.

Part 3 continues right where part 2 left off. Dante finds out information from his grandfather in regards to a blood bond between him and Erin. As Dante tries to figure out exactly what that means, he becomes suspicious of his grandfather and other family members. He worries he may be putting Erin at risk and in more danger than originally thought. One thing is for sure, he is in love with her. And it may be time to tell Erin what he is. Erin is starting to take notice of the things going on at work while also confused about her behavior (door unlocked when she KNOWS she locked it, swears she saw somebody in her home, etc). Things start to steam up and Dante doesn't know if he can control his blood lust for Erin. Another awesome read!
