LUMBERJACK review:
A storm is coming and our heroine is stranded in the woods and needs to find shelter.
And what do you know?
She stumbles upon a cabin and who's inside?
A very horny lumberjack who just happens to be into red-heads.
😂😂
This is a fast read.
Especially if you're in a reading jam and needs something to snack on before you can start a longer book.
ENJOY!

If you're looking for something short and sweet, this is definitely for you.
You'll need to turn your brain off for this one.
This was a late night audio for me.
Go buy the audiobook and enjoy.
You'll find some clichés here and there, and I did roll my eyes all the typical possessive alpha lines, but they won't stop you from following the story.

And this one, even if it received the same 2-star rating I gave the previous two, it was quite a strange little book, to be honest.
The hero apparently has something called "Baby Fever" and he has chosen his "mate," the heroine to breed with.😂😂
I was much amused while reading this.
Though, I have noticed that this was practically Bam Wam Thank You, Ma'am with this one.
The relationship moved rather fast, even if it was already somehow halfway established before the book took place.
I wanted a little more development to the romance and I didn't get that at all.
But these books are like little greedy snacks you take here and there throughout the day before your big meal. So don't take them too seriously.
Because I reckon the author meant them to be that way.

Ooh, the real man series was flipping smoking hot!! All those yummy big working men !! It was so worth it as per usual. These were hot bites that weren’t more than 75 pages. Essentially a perfect late night snacky snack after you put the kiddos to bed !! Grab your favorite gadget and let it happen.

If you've read enough of my reviews, you know I love me some hot, insta-love, uber alpha stories. And this is a whole collection of some!
Each of these men is a hot, take charge, alpha. And I love them all! Each story is different but each story also has a hot alpha who knows what he wants and will get his woman. And care for her and protect her.
I haven't read Jenika Snow's books before but I will definitely be on the look out for A Real Man Volume 2! I can just imagine the swoony men. <3

Lumberjack
Vivian Clarke needs a break after discovering her boyfriend was sleeping with other girls in the office. She decides to take a week and recharge at a cabin in the woods but when she gets lost she must decide whether to go to the cabin she finally finds or spend a night in the woods.
Jake Braxton moved to the middle of nowhere 5 years ago after catching his girlfriend in bed with his best friend. He has become a lumberjack and sworn off all women. Entirely.
When Vivian decides to venture up to Jake's cabin sparks fly but will either be willing to let go of their own rules for a night of intense passion?
This was a super quick and smutty read. It was fun for sure but parts seemed to be a little far fetched although I suppose if you think it's only going to be one night you may as well make the best of it and go for everything!
Vivian was coming off a bad 'relationship" and immediately was attracted to Jake and everything he brought to her with his intense passion and alpha style. It was pretty clear that Vivian loved this about him but never would have pegged him for her type.
Jake was steering away from all women but there was something about Vivian that brought down all his walls. Given that Jake had not been with a woman in 5 years I wasn't surprised at all with his intensity towards Vivian.
The book was a fun read and very hot!!

Quinn has been in love with Isabel since he was 10 years old. When Isabel learns that she will be moving for her senior year will Quinn finally tell her how he truly feels about her?
When Isabel has to tell Quinn her heart is breaking but when she learns how he feels and that he has been saving himself for her does she feel the same? How far will Quinn go to be with Isabel?
At first when I saw the cover I was expecting Quinn to be much older than high school so when I started reading I initially taken by surprise. That being said this book is a quick read acting on your first love.
Quinn knew he would only have this chance to show Isabel how much he loved her and knew one night could change everything. He was ready for the night and definitely knew much more about satisfying someone than a high school teenager generally does.
I was definitely impressed with how far Quinn went to show Isabel how much he truly loved her!
Quick read on a first true love.

Eva is 29 and is a waitress at a bar. When she is hot on by a drunk guy one night and Dex comes to her rescue will the love she has secretly had for him for so many years come out?
This is a quick and fun story about two people who have always had feelings for each other but kept it under wraps due to their age difference and Charles.
I do like how they both waited until they were older and both were ready to settle down before trying a relationship with each other.

Very spicy. Great for a weekend or vacation book. Jake has been hurt deeply but once he has a taste of Vivian he's all in. I liked that he sat back and waited for Vivian to make the choice to come to him. I enjoyed Vivian's confidence and that when faced with the choice of her future she picked Jake.

Jenika Snow wraps you into her characters lives without you even noticing - and looking back at these intense stories made the extended epilogues a joy, meeting up with old friends you haven't seen for awhile. A clever way to draw in new readers & bring others back for a quick catch-up. And another way to get more than a glimpse of the delightful Marshall Perrin!

A solid 3 stars book for me!
A really enjoyed these little stories, especially the first two of them: Lumberjack and Virgin. The last one was a little too rushed for my taste.

Dex and Eva, Quinn and Isabel, Jake and Vivian
Jenika Snow can certainly write stories with a quick plot, characters that are just right for each other and believable. There is no cheating g, couples that are really into each other and in love with each other. There is always a HEA and when the stories are over, the reader is left with a very good feeling and that the world is a little better because of the love that is displayed by these couples. Keep up the good work Jenika Snow!

If you enjoy your smut with some more smut and some spicy smut sauce on the side-boy oh boy, is this the book for you.
I have no idea how I fell down this rabbit hole... I blame Audible and their $3 sale which is where I found the first book in this series, which made me plummet further into finding the entire Volume One collection...which then prompted me to order the book on Amazon.
This was an absolutely ridiculous read in more ways than one. It's made up of the first 10 books in the series which features different stories featuring brawny, brooding, alpha male-esque men, and soft, tender hearted women.
To be honest, this entire series should've been called "Billy and Susie Discover Role Playing," because every single story is basically the same. Different names, different locations...same dialogue and same exact smut.
There's not much to the plot or character development so if you're in between books and you just need something where you don't really need to think too much but you still wanna get your read on: here you go!
I giggled like a pre-teen who just watched porn for the first time. I most definitely rolled my eyes and sighed a lot but, meh, it was an overall entertaining read. My smut scale is also held to a very high standard so these stories were quite... boring to say the least.
Oh, and I dunno about any of you, but I have never, ever, ever in my life seen a woman's vajeen referred to as a "pussy hole"... so I just had to highlight the word as I read.
Yep, you read that right.
I highlighted it.
I highlighted it 20 times.
Which was 20 times too many.
All so you didn't have to.

Three stories to entice our guilty pleasures.
In Lumberjack, a night in the woods with an intimidating stranger has never felt more right.
He's starving for female touch, she's never known a man like him. Running from a storm, Vivian encounters a mountain man in his cabin that will provide not only shelter but a carnal experience she'll never forget.
Actually, this hot fantasy is really great. City people tired of grey lives that find in each other what they're craving. With a dirty mouth and a longing for a woman to claim, Jake is wild in close encounters. I especially liked the transition from unstoppable lust to a bond that doesn't let go. The bonus epilogue is sweet and dirty, too.
Virgin is about exclusive love, about first and only love. And it's really cute. Two inseparable friends face the test of one of them moving far away. They can't stand the thought so they blurt out their real feelings. I loved this story because you can feel how desperate the characters are because they fear the separating. Graduating in a year means one year without each other. Yet they find a way to spend their lives together. All the words they exchange, all the heated scenes, all the actions he takes to fulfill his promise to her, are endearingly romantic and hotly possessive. Also, both characters belong to each other and they've never been with anyone else. Sweet!
In Baby Fever, there's a rough biker who can no longer ignore the woman of his dreams, so he forgets about how good she is and that she's his friend's sister, and sets about conquering her for his selfish motives. Dex is a man on a one-way mission, a tattooed gentleman, intent on making a baby with the woman he craves.
Intense.
Even though there's a lot of heat between dex and Eva, it's also very romantic in an alpha man kind of way. He wants to be worthy of a life with her, so he's respectful, faithful and proves to Eva how truly devoted he is to her and her well-being. So, there is a good balance of warm promises of forever, proven in the epilogue, and dirty talk to back Dex's plans to make babies right away.
If you're in the mood for quick and hot with a side of smut romance with a bad boy, this can be your perfect choice.

This was one read that does exactly what it say on the tin. It was insta-lust done right; the story was short and naughty in the best way possible.
Jake was an a typical reclusive alpha-male and Vivian was the redhead of his dreams.
Together their chemistry was off the charts hot, and the sex scenes sizzled on the pages of my kindle. I loved the additional epilogue, too! Jake and Vivian were a fun and sexy couple to read about and I look forward to the next book in the series.
VIRGIN (A Real Man #2):
3.5 stars
The second of Jenika Snow's Real Man series continues the same way as the first in the series, and as the author warns at the start of the book it's 'Insta' everything.
Isabel and Quinn were so sweet together. The story of them begin with the reader meeting both the characters at 18 years old, and about to face being separated. Both are Virgins, and although its a short read I felt like the pacing was good. I didn't really believe the character of Quinn as being a bad boy, but I liked his character anyway.
This was a short, sweet and naughty read that made me smile.
BABY FEVER (A Real Man #3):
4 stars
The third book in Jenika Snow's Real Man series revolves around Dex and Eva. Much like the first two books, this story features a sexy and OTT Alpha Male, and a rather plain heroine. This particular main character is intent on getting the woman he has always wanted pregnant with his child.
The story jumps straight into the action and is engaging from the beginning. The author's description of Dex were hot, and I loved that Eva was a curvy girl. Even though this was a quick read, there was a decent amount of build up in the character's relationship given the short length of the story, I thought they had great chemistry.
The pacing was good, and it was everything I would want from a quick, naughty and fun read.

Together their chemistry was off the charts hot, and the sex scenes sizzled on the pages of my kindle. I loved the additional epilogue, too! Jake and Vivian were a fun and sexy couple to read about and I look forward to the next book in the series.
VIRGIN (A Real Man #2):

The second of Jenika Snow's Real Man series continues the same way as the first in the series, and as the author warns at the start of the book it's 'Insta' everything.
Isabel and Quinn were so sweet together. The story of them begin with the reader meeting both the characters at 18 years old, and about to face being separated. Both are Virgins, and although its a short read I felt like the pacing was good. I didn't really believe the character of Quinn as being a bad boy, but I liked his character anyway.
This was a short, sweet and naughty read that made me smile.
BABY FEVER (A Real Man #3):

The third book in Jenika Snow's Real Man series revolves around Dex and Eva. Much like the first two books, this story features a sexy and OTT Alpha Male, and a rather plain heroine. This particular main character is intent on getting the woman he has always wanted pregnant with his child.
The story jumps straight into the action and is engaging from the beginning. The author's description of Dex were hot, and I loved that Eva was a curvy girl. Even though this was a quick read, there was a decent amount of build up in the character's relationship given the short length of the story, I thought they had great chemistry.
The pacing was good, and it was everything I would want from a quick, naughty and fun read.

I just finished reading the first book in this box set, Lumberjack, and as sexy stories go, this one is hot.
Jake has been living up in the mountain and working as a lumberjack for 5 years after he caught his girlfriend with his best friend. He hasn’t been with a woman since.
Vivian has just broken up with her boyfriend as the relationship wasn’t going anywhere and he was sleeping around. She takes a break up to the mountains. When she goes for a hike, she ends up lost and in Jake’s cabin with a storm on the way. There the story begins.
I have to admit I didn’t connect with either of the characters at the beginning. I think it’s to do with the POV. I didn’t think first person POV worked for this story, although we get alternating POVs for Jake and Viv.
Once the story got going and we had Jake and Viv interacting with each other, I fell into the flow. I gotta tell you, there is definitely something sexy about a big strong bearded man wielding an axe. I totally get the attraction to lumbersexuals.
My favourite line from the book: “Admit you want me as much as I want you.”
So will I be reading the rest of the books in this set. You can bet on it.

This Volume One of 'A Real Man' was Awesome and HOT!
Lumberjack book #1 is a a short dirty story.
I enjoyed reading it
I Love how Jake gave Vivian her space to think but he went back for her...
Vivian also realized that she wanted more and left everything behind to start her life with Jake
Jake and Vivian's story was dirty and hot!
Virgin book #2 was also a short story.

Wow! This was so Hot! After he finds his girlfriend in bed with his best friend, Jake has left the city and has spend the last 5 years in a isolated cabin working as a lumberjack. The last thing he expects is a redheaded knocking on his door in a storm and bursting into his life. Dissatisfied with her life, Vivian leaves the city for a long week in isolation bit unfortunately gets lost while hiking while a storm rolled in. Fortunately she comes across a cabin in the middle of nowhere with a huge lumberjack that will change her life forever. Highly recommended

Well written and sweet romances. Very few typos.
Alpha bad ass leading men with giant hearts and only eyes for their ladies.
Sweet, smart and sexy ladies who like their men possessive.
A little over the top in the reality department, but it's nice to think that finding your one only love could be this easy.
The blurbs for each book are totally accurate and all three are fairly similar.
This is a very nice way to leave reality behind for awhile. Extra hot and steamy.

This boxed set is wonderful. Three great, fast paced novellas packed with heat and passion that is sure to make your toes curl. Each book is about a completely different set of characters. No two are alike. All different backgrounds and lifestyles. I thoroughly enjoyed each one and can’t wait for the next release.

Hot sexy fast reads....just how I like them
I found this book during quarantine and though I have enjoyed Jenika Snow's work in the past, this was exactly what I needed when just looking for a bedtime story...I was able to enjoy a different story each night! Love the intense Alpha Male insta-love in each. Total feel good fast reading...
