This was a brilliant quick read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Whitney is a student studying at Juilliard but after her violin is destroyed she needs to replace it and fast. But she has no funds and when a friend and roommate Abby offers her a job for one night to be a fake girlfriend for the notorious playboy and champion fighter Percy Rankin she decides to go for it. Well aware of the fighters reputation she is determined that she won’t be another notch on his bedpost but one look at him has her questioning everything she thought she knew. Will she be able to not judge him on his past and give him her heart?
Percy Rankin has it all now but that hasn’t always been the case, bullied as a child he became determined to be the best fighter around and it’s an achievement that comes with a lot of benefits especially with women. But it’s time to clean up his image and a fake girlfriend will apparently do that for him according to his agent but one glance at Whitney and there is nothing fake about what he wants from her, and that is everything. But when he overhears a conversation he thinks she’s nothing but a con artist will he give her a chance to explain or go back to his previous ways?
You can’t help but want to slap Percy especially at the party they attend but you can’t help but want them to get together already. My one complaint is that it seems to jump from one thing to another with no transition to the epilogue. Still a really great read before bed. 4 🌟

I hated this book. The guy was a total dick/jerk.. that turned me off.. it was his asshole personality that had me ugh and his nicknames for Whitney..
"I bought you, arm candy, & hooker"...and many other "fun" cute names.
Now i could have forgiven him for the names and his assholeness since he's trying to piss her off since shes cute when shes mad.. but after their steamy night he overhears Whitney being sarcastic over the phone with her friend saying she wasnt falling for him. He took it took heart and was a cold jerk and got 2 girls to escort him to a event, one of the girls grabbed and squeezed his dick.. (he didnt get hard but he didnt stop her) so yeah I say that's a cheater in my eyes..and if Whitney didnt show up he im 1000% sure he would have gone through with that 3some.. heck Whitney even said "Your going to step out on me now" she didnt see what the girl grabbed if she did she wouldnt fight for him. She prob would have left his ass.. And it leaves us with do you wanna work on this relationship or not.. and it goes to epilogue 5 years later.. 😐

I always look forward to reading this author books and can wait to get my hands on all her new releases. This is book #1 in the series His Only Desire #1 and I cant wait to read the second in the series. This book is a real romance story and a real Insta love book that I totally loved.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Percy is a famous fighter. He can get any woman he wants and he takes enjoyment of all the women that fall at his feet. Percy’s publicist doesn’t agree and sets him up with a fake date for an event. Whitney is attracted to Percy but he annoys him from the moment they meet. That being said, she needs the money she will get from the date. When Percy makes a move, will Whitney be able to resist him?
The chemistry between Whitney and Percy is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I liked that Whitney didn’t want to put up with Percy’s behaviour. I also couldn’t help but be amused at Percy’s personality.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Percy is a professional fighter and a total playboy with a bad reputation for having a different women on his arm every other night. His publicist wants to clean up his image so she hires Whitney to be his fame girlfriend. Whitney is a good girl; she's nineteen, a Juilliard student, smart, funny and quite beautiful. The instant Percy sees her he knows she's "the one" and he'll do whatever it takes to make that happen. Whitney is not happy about it being a professional fighter she has to be a fake girlfriend for, but she really needs the money for a new violin. She feels the chemistry between them the second she sees Percy, but she knows his type and she's planning on keeping this arrangement totally professional. This is a wonderful story and I highly recommend it!

I liked this story. It was enjoyable and easy to read. The characters were interesting.

Story was good...BUT
This was my least favorite Jenna rose book. I normally love her stuff but this one fell a bit flat to me and it didn’t have anything to do with the characters or the story. I think it was because there was no “first time” love scene between the hero and heroine and it Would have been awesome to read how Percy claims his girl, takes her innocence for himself. That was completely skipped over and i think that’s why it fell limp for me.
Otherwise a solid steamy romance in the insta-love vein.

Percy and Whitney
Honestly, I disliked Percy a lot. He was way too cocky and arrogant for me. And too much if a manwhore. When they had a misunderstanding, he went right back to his womanising ways, going to a party with two porn stars that were touching his junk which he allowed. Not my thing.
Also, as a side note, I am not sure there's a woman that is size zero with an hourglass figure and curves for days. Maybe I am wrong.

Muy rápido de leer, una historia entretenida, con un inicio de amor a primera vista, con cierto recelo de la protagonista con sus prejuicios e inseguridades. Pero se dan una oportunidad y a pesar de los mal entendidos, la protagonista se atreve y va por su hombre. Solo le falto 1 estrella, porque sus escenas hot podrian haber sido mejor.

No me gustó el capitulo antes del epílogo, ó sea, Percy tenía derecho a estar enojado por escuchar lo que Whitney dijo de él, y aunque no fue apropiada la manera de enfrentarlo por parte de Percy, estaba dolido, y Whitney llegó y le empezó a insultar y creer que él iba a entender su sarcasmo y fue muy wtf, el principio del libro me gustó, pero el final fue un asco, por eso le doy 1 estrella

I did not like the main male character at all. He was a womanizer and a manwhore. He also didn’t treat someone who he supposed to like that great. I did enjoy Whitney. I look forward to other books by this author but this one was a miss.

was a waste of time. Main characters didn’t have any chemistry at all whatsoever, MMC was an asshole and didn’t have any redeeming qualities and FMC was a doormat.

I didn't really love this or hate this. It was ok. I just didn't like the characters all that much. I love me some insta love and alpha male and sassy female, but something felt off with these two.

Es súper corto, y al ser así todo pasa muy rápido. Por lo que a mi no me gustó, ya que desde el primer momento en que se conocen ya se enamoraron y hasta se amaban. No me convenció nada.

Percy and Whitney are a perfect example of seemingly opposite people having insane chemistry. A fighter and a music student? Can they last? This story of instalove captivated me from the beginning with these two characters have to learn and do it quickly in order to be together. Love Jenna Rose.
