ONE ROUGH ROLLING LANDSLIDE!!!
Fabulous! Sarah delivers one heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, page flipping, block busting bombshell, bestowing this delectably composed spin, with an intense storyline and gripping plot, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Shattering boundaries and dispensing lines, exposing the strengths and weaknesses being weighed and balanced, booting this gem into the eye of the storm, breaking it down, knocking it into overdrive, catapulting it into a hissy with a life-altering culmination. Quirky mishaps and stunning happenstance, swirl with the formidable trials and challenging tribulations, spinning alongside the explosive twists and wicked turns, putting our characters through their paces, testing them in ways they could have never imagined. Shenanigans, escapades and mayhem rule the roost displaying the drama, abduction, turmoil, intrigue, danger, spiraling suspense and intense situations, along with a boatload of moxie, you have one intoxicating masterpiece. The characters are complex and authentic with qualities and traits that add depth transforming into relatable personalities. The scenes are so colorfully descriptive it paints an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fabulous job Sarah, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.

Summer’s Stolen is the second enthralling addition to the Seasons of Magic series by Sarah Biglow. This is another action-packed urban fantasy, with paranormal elements, and interwoven with crime drama, mystery, suspense, magic, danger, tension, intrigue, good vs evil, sinister forces, and more.
I really recommend reading the first book in the series, Spring’s Calling, before embarking on this adventure- as there are references in this story to events that took place in the first book, as well as recurring characters- so having all that information on board will greatly enhance your reading experience of this story.
It’s been 3 months since the fate of the world hang in the balance, and Ezri averted the apocalypse and saved the day (Book One). She has taken her place on the magical community’s council, as well as working on balancing her responsibilities as a police officer, with her duty to the magical community. When young girls begin disappearing, Ezri is on the case. Her investigation sees her teaming up with FBI Agent Cartwright, and being led back to the order responsible for all the chaos in book one. Can she survive another round with the sinister forces? You will have to read this book to find out. It’s definitely worth the read.
I’m really enjoying this series and am looking forward to more ‘Seasons of Magic’ stories!

Thank you, Sarah Biglow!

This is book two of the Seasons of magic series and the summer solstice is fast approaching. A time when light magic will be at its most powerful. Detective Ezri Trenton, also known as the Savior, is trying to balance her work as a cop as well as the magical community’s expectations of her as their prophesised Savior. After the events of the Spring Solstice, where she proved her worth to the Authority, she has now finally taken up her family’s place on the Authority’s Council. A new case comes to her from one of the healers at the Authority. Her fifteen year old son Adrian has gone missing and she is worried that something has happened to him. Following that, three young girls from the ethnic community also go missing. One of them is her partner Jacquie’s niece, which sees her taken off the main case of the missing girls, but able to continue on the case of Adrian.

CCTV recordings show one of the girls on the street, about to cross the road, and then just disappearing! A closer look by one of their techs, shows a woman bumping into the girl just as she disappears. Another video also shows something similar happening and Ezri realises she knows what this woman must be. What magic she is using. The woman hides from view most of the time, but a brother is left behind at one scene and remembers a tattoo she had on her left hand. A tattoo that Ezri knows belongs to the Order of Samael, who she had to fight against just three months ago. Due to the number of children now missing, her chief has called in the FBI, which leaves Ezri with trust issues, since the last case she worked with the FBI, left her with a stone block stuck in her guts, from their FBI liaison, Jamison Taggart, who was working for the other side! She visits him in prison, but he isn’t going to

She finds out the identity of the Whisperer, who manages to disappear, with a child along with her each time. The girls she finds, were all friends and attended lessons at the Authority and also with the assistance of Adrian, a healer still undergoing training. The girls all found him attractive and had crushes on him, all choosing to learn healing due to him! All of them are from ethnic communities and their traditions are to have magic passed down within the family, teaching each new member by another family member, relying only slightly on their children being taught by the Authority. Why these children have been chosen by this Order, is still to be discovered and now Ezri has a new FBI agent to work with, FBI Agent Molly Cartwright. Her first outing with Molly to a nightclub, where she has been told the Whisperer Lola is, leads to magic being used and unable to be hidden from Molly. That brings about an unusual conversation!

Ezri is going to have to rely on others to help solve this case and get all of the children safely home, if that is at all possible. She has revealed magic to a civilian, so there may be comeback from the Authority for that. This case makes her use the skills of her cousin Desmond, both his professional skills as a shrink, but also his magical skills in reading and manipulating memories. This investigation will test her powers and her ability to work with others, without rushing head first into every situation, believing only she can solve it. Some may be saved, but then others will have to die. Another hard set of cases for Ezri and Jacquie to solve and the work of the Savior is about to get so much harder, before the year ends. Another fascinating story of good vs evil in the magical world, whilst mixing it in with real world police work. A difficult subject with child abductions taking place, so some may find it a little difficult to read. I can’t wait to see what happens once Autumn and Winter hit. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Summer's Stolen by Sarah Biglow is AMAZING! Once you start reading you won't be able to put it down, so don't start it in the evening if you have to work the next day!

This book has it all, romance, drama, action, magic, you name it! If you like your hero's tall, dark, handsome, and smart, and you liked your heroine's tall (somewhat), dark-haired, beautiful, smart, and kicks-ass, then this is definitely a book you will want to read, especially since this book two in the Seasons of Magic series, and even more pulse pounding than the first book.

I have only read these two books by Sarah Biglow, and they are both great. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. If you haven't read the series by Ms. Biglow, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and grab a copy! You won't be disappointed!!

„Summer’s Stolen“ follows seamlessly the events related in the first book in the Series. Ezri Trenton (MC) a Boston police detective by heart has finally comes to terms to her destiny after solving her mother’s murder and somehow saving the world in the process. Now she holds a sit in the Authority Council and balances her magical existence and her police work into separate compartments. But as the son of one of her closest friends and colleagues in the Council, goes missing both existences interconnect in the pursue of the culprit. As becomes clear that the case is connected with various cases of children disappearances in the magic community, Enzi realizes that something even more evil is going on.

The story is very well written, mixing elements of UF and police procedural into a fast-paced tale, that keep the reader invested into the plot from cover to cover. Enzi is a wonderful character, a no-nonsense cop when necessary, and loyal to a fault to her friends and allies. Jacqui, her partner, is trustworthy and the pure embodiment of “partnership”, the interactions between both of them are a joy to witness. A realistic setting, our world with magic, unexpected twist and last but not least, intelligent crafted foes that give the story the dept it deserves complete the full picture.

Sarah Biglow “Seasons of Magic” Series is a must read for all fantasy and/or police work fans out there, that expect not only a page-turner enjoyable reading but some clever background stories to go with it.

Summer's Stolen (Seasons of Magic Book 2)
By Sarah Biglow
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the book Summer's Stolen (Seasons of Magic Book 2) by Sarah Biglow. It is a story that has mystery and magic. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. This book had me hooked and wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the character of Detective Ezri Trenton. Ezri is trying to balance her role as the Savior and her duties as a cop. When young girls in the community are reported missing, she is determined to solve the case and bring them home. This also has her teamed up with FBI Agent Cartwright. Can Ezri trust Agent Cartwright? Why are the young girls taken and will Ezri find them? Read this book to find out. One of the reasons that Ezri is such an amazing character is that she is strong, independent, kind, and when on a case has a fierce determination to solve it. I was rooting for Ezri the entire time. The author does a wonderful job of not only writing an amazing storyline, I felt like I was right there with Ezri. There are other characters that Ezri interacts with who I enjoyed reading about as they are helpful to the case and support Ezri. Others have an agenda and they must be stopped. Will they? Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining read. I highly recommend reading this book.

This is the second of the Seasons of the Magic series and I find myself enjoying this series a lot. It is full of action, interesting characters and keeps the readers on the hook till the very end.
Ezri is on another case with her friend Jacquie, cousin Desmond and other members of the authority. There are children who are missing one after another. The video footage shows them disappearing. Ezri has to use all her magic, her power and her strength to trace these missing children. She pairs up with an FBI agent Cartwright to follow the trail of the whisperers who will eventually lead her to the people who have been kidnapping the children. We get to know about other magical communities in this book, like the African and the Hispanic people who follow magic in their own accord and the friction between different communities.
I love this book, which has both a thriller and a fantasy element to it. In fact, even without the fantasy element, this book and the characters would have been equally exciting. Ezri comes across as a strong-willed independent woman whom everyone can rely on, the savior which the western magic descendants need. Overall a very good read, full of twists and turns! A good sequel to the first book! I am hoping there will be two more in this series, and cannot wait to read the third!

Ezri is asked by Belladonna to look for her son, he hasn't been heard from in three days. She is worried that something happened to him. Ezri and her partner look into it, they need her to make file a report. This way they can look into the video of the area. While taking Belladonna's report, Ezri finds out another girl from the Authority has gone missing. Ezri talks to her Captain, they take over the case.
Ezri and her partner are tracking leads. The video shows the girl just disappearing. Ezri know of only Whispers being able to do that. The leads she gets leaders her to a poweful whisper, Kayla has history with her. Ezri knows the Order is involved but why and what purpose. Ezri will have to everything in her power to get the answers and get the kids before it is too late. Ezri isn't the only one affected, Desmond is feeling the pressure of what is going on.

This book is non- stop action, you see Ezri make her way through the cases with even more happening. You will see the cases affect everyone in the book. There are a lot of moments that I didn't want to ruin for anyone, I highly suggest you read this book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I am all over the Seasons of Magic series from Sarah Biglow. This book and the first as well was fabulous and something I just could not put down until I had soaked up every page of the book. This is the second book like I said and we find Ezri, our main gal, sorta finding her footing now in the world as both a cop and the Savior of the Magical Community. She is getting just a tad confident when girls in her community start to go missing. The case gets awfully close to home as she struggles to find the perp and put an end to things with everyone she holds dear, and herself, safe and alive. I especially enjoyed the pairing of Ezri with FBI Agent Cartwright. These two have a wonderful chemistry that makes the story flow and feel all the more realistic. I can’t say enough good things about this book and really recommend that you start with the first in the series before diving into this one. You won’t be sad that you did! I can’t wait for the next one!!

Detective Ezri Trenton has saved the world three months ago but is living a double life with her magical duties and responsibilities as a cop. After accepting her role in the magical kingdom as Authority Council. As such, she believes she has to help the missing young girls in the community especially after finding out her partner’s niece is among them.
Ezri learns more about the seedy underground of the magical kingdom but learns more about those who almost ended the world.
With 2 days till the cases go cold, Ezri has to work with an FBI Agent Cartwright and she’s unsure if she can trust the agent. Ezri must enlist the help from the regular world and she has to enlist the help of the magical kingdom to save them all.
This book was a great read, full of action and has a great storyline. Great world-building from the magical kingdom to the actual world. I love this book. The book was unpredictable, easy to read and entertaining!

Summer’s Stolen (Seasons of Magic Book 2) by Sarah Biglow
4 Stars

You would think after saving the world, you would get a break. Unfortunately that’s not the case for Ezri Trenton. She’s taken her seat on the Council and is trying to find balance between her personal life and being a detective. Some girls start disappearing in the vicinity and when one of them turns out to be her partner’s niece, Ezri jumps on the case. Turns out they are part of the magical community as well and this leads Ezri to the dark underbelly of the city. Heading into dangerous situations again, she learns that the Order of Samael is not finished with her. Can she survive round two?

A story filled with action and magic, it also had the added mystery of trying to figure out who took the girls. Another book to keep you on the edge of your seat. With wonderful characters and an amazing storyline, this is definitely a must read.

This is book 2 in the Seasons of Magic series. It was a great read and kept me hooked from the start.

We are back with Erzi Trenton. After saving the world in the first book and fulfilling the her destiny by becoming the savior she was always meant to be, she is now back and on the case of a missing boy.

The missing boy is the son of a member of the Authority. Adrian is a young lad who has magical powers as a healer and when he mysteriously disappears his mother contacts Erzi to try and find him.

At the same time there are young girls going missing. The girls are all magical and have one connection. They all know Adrian.

So now Erzi has a joint mission to find the girls and to also find Adrian and if he is connected to the girls disappearance.

Is Adrian involved in the disappearances or are there darker forces at work. Erzi is told she may have won the last fight but it isn't the end.

Can she defeat dark forces again and are they linked to the disappearances.

I would especially like to thank the author and the Booksprout site for allowing me to read this book.

For Ezri avoiding the Apocalypse was just the beginning.

Three months after the events of "Spring's Calling" Ezri finally found the balance between being the Savior and his life as a cop. She's back on the board of the Magical Community Authority. Except when girls from that community go missing, Ezri takes matters into her own hands. One of the victims happens to be one of his nieces. The investigation leads Ezri to Samael's order. She's gonna have to team up with the FBI, Agent Cartwright specifically. But can she trust him?

A book read in one go, so much so that I hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with characters who are still as endearing as ever.

Summer's Stolen by Sarah Biglow is the second book in the Seasons of Magic series. I have been looking forward to reading this since finishing the first book, and I am not disappointed. Ezri Trenton is settling into her role as Savior within the magical community as well as her position of Detective in the police department. When children start going missing there are connections between both of her worlds. Will she get to the bottom of the missing children before it is too late? I highly recommend reading the first book before this one because it is a continuation of the story. This is a hard series to put down so far. The story is fast, action packed, and filled with mystery and magic. I am enjoying the development of the main character Ezri and how she has changed and adapted into her new roles. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series in the future.

Ezri is back in book two and all recovered from saving the world 3 months ago. In this one she is slowing reconnecting with all the people she cut out of her life after her mom died. So of course she finds herself in the middle of a case that involves magic as children from families under the Authority end up kidnapped. I was a great story as Ezri tries to figure out and put together the pieces of what is going on. My favorite characters are back and new ones are introduced as Ezri races the clock to solve the mystery. It was well written and just drew me in and I could not put it down as I had to figure out the who, what and why. Just a great story and welcome addition to this new amazing series.

This is the second book in this series. I enjoyed it just as much as the first. This author has impressed me with writing skills and attention to details that make me feel as if I was part of the story. I had no issues connecting with the characters. They brought the story to life and had me turning pages fast. Ezri is back in this fantasy story. She is still trying to find a balance with her mystical powers as she takes her place on the council. When children start coming up missing, she doesn’t hesitate to take the case. Now she has 48 hours to find who's behind it. Will she get the edge over the enemy? This is a fast paced story that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Summer’s Stolen (Seasons of Magic Book 2)
by Sarah Biglow
4 out of 5 stars

As indicated above,  Summer's Stolen is the second book in Sarah Biglow's Seasons of Magic series. This is a series that leaves you wanting more in all the best ways! Much like the first book,  Summer's Stolen captured me from the first word to the last. As we continue to get to know Ezri and watch as she juggles career and personal,  magical aspects of her life,  there is never a shortage of intrigue or excitement.  Sarah Biglow is still a new to me Author but it's quickly exceeding all expectations with action,  great characters and detailed world building.  I would definitely recommend this series and look forward to more from this Author.

Summer’s Stolen (Seasons of Magic Book 2) by Sarah Biglow

5-Stars

A magical and exciting read, Summer’s Stolen by Sarah Biglow, was a difficult book to put down. It is the second book in the Seasons of Magic series and can be read as a standalone. I felt that this book was better than the first and loved how easily it enveloped my imagination. The disappearances had me intrigued and worried for those involved. I loved following Ezri and her partner Jacquie as they worked meticulously and efficiently to solve their case. They were thorough and I loved their personalities. They had great character development as the story progressed. This was a delightful read and a book I highly recommend. It was an easy 5-stars.

Summer's Stolen: (An Urban Fantasy Novel) (Seasons of Magic Book 2) by Sarah Biglow is a great fantasy paranormal story that is easy to become part of the story. It will have you on the end of your seat and your heart racing as they once again race against time to find missing children. Make sure you read the first book before you read this one, which is just as good as this one. This story pretty much takes off where the last one left off and where our favourite Detective, the Saviour, is once again caught up good versus evil and magic is everywhere. With magic and mystery what could be better to keep you engaged and turning pages. I very much look forward to the next one.

Summer’s Stolen is the second book in the Seasons of Magic series. You’ll appreciate this story more if you’ve read book one as there are references to things that happened in the previous story.

This is a fabulous series. I fell in love with book one and book two is a fantastic story as well. In the second book we see Ezri’s growth as a person.

Summer’s Stolen sucks you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go. (Maybe the book itself is infused with magic? LOL) When reading this story, I felt like I was right there with the characters. There is action, danger, intrigue, suspense, and of course, magic.

Definitely a must read!

I really like the world the author has created, but there are a lot of holes in the character development and storyline.

Ezri is supposed to be a rookie cop, yet she ends up calling all the shots on this case despite having an experienced partner and an FBI agent on the case. As someone who turned her back on her magical community until recently, she has zero disregard for the opinions and advice of family and friends who could close some of the gaps in her education. She’s an arrogant lone wolf who has zero disregard for the safety of others as long as it gets her closer to solving the case. As the heroine of the story, I want to like her, but I just don’t.

This was an interesting read. Author's different takes on magic gave the story a new feel. There were enough recaps to let you know what had come before without driving 'round the bend. Great editing meant only one punctuation error and I saw no grammar mistakes. Thank you to whomever did such a great job. My only criticism....Ezri solved her problems too easily. This read like a YA book where problems were identified and easily solved on 2 pages.

Summer's Stolen is the second book in the Seasons of Magic series and is an entertaining urban fantasy novel.

I really enjoyed following Ezri as she juggles her duties as the Savior of the magical community and her life as a cop. She is intelligent, strong, and independent. The storyline is well written and flows nicely from start to finish. This book has magic, kidnapping, danger, suspense, and action. A recommended read for lovers of urban fantasy.

I read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book with no obligation.

After the pervious events have taken place at the spring soliscite she's taken up her family place on the council. Sarah has a way of making character pop alive and jump out of the book at you. She teaming up with the FBI is this for good or for bad can she trust them. There a twist and tale at every corner of this book which keeps you guessing and wanting to read. I would highly recommend this read.

Summer’s Stolen. (Seasons Of Magic Book 2) by Sarah Biglow. A brilliant second book in this series. I loved the first one and love the second. I can’t wait to carry on with this series. Ezri is a detective and the Saviour, she’s trying to juggle both elements of her life and I think she’s doing a pretty good job. After saving the world in book one she now must find out why girls are going missing. Sarah Biglow has done a absolutely fantastic job with book two, it flows so easily before you know it you are at the end. Great work.
