What would you sacrifice to change the lives of your family and friends? How do you stop an unknown assassin who’s come to kill the children you’re protecting? Come inside and find out! As Anthologies go, this was one of the better ones that I have read. There were only two stories I thought were weak compared to the rest, and they weren't horrible. Kill The King, by Christopher Ruocchio, Lifer, by Chris Reher, and To Become Death, by Christopher Hopper, were my favorites.

Poor to average stories

I was disappointed by the general low quality of the stories. There's are some good ideas and some writing showed potential but it's lacking in too many ways.

Great Collection

Great selection of Mil Sci Fi, has echoes of there will be war by Jerry Pournelle. Only difference is no discussion of strategy.

Ok

Some of these stories were like chapters in a book. Ok starts but no finish. Some of the stories were great.
