Sam finds herself at the center of another mystery involving the Elder Watchers. But this time, it's personal.

As Marie's story unfolds, Sam and Allison find themselves halfway around the world in the countryside of France hunting for Antoinette.
With the help of the Eastern Watch and a very skilled, old werewolf, the two put a location on Antoinette but as soon as they begin their search they find the tables have been turned on them.
Will they be able to save Antoinette and save themselves from the clutches of her captors? Only Sam's ingenuity and Allison's witchy talents can save them and time is running out.

Entertaining vampire listening 🎶🔰
Another will written vampire paranormal fantasy world 🌎 haunting adventure thriller short story by D. C. Young (The Chronicles of the Immortal Council book nine). Samantha Moon 🌙 is hired to rescue Antoinette. It does not go so well as her and Allison are captured and then rescued by Antoinette. The Council is very happy. I would recommend this novella series and author to 👍 readers of paranormal fantasy mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 👒😉🌙👑

Samantha Moon is hire by the Immortal Council to find Antoinette, the handmaiden to Queen Marie of Scotland. This also tell a story of Queen Marie, the mother of Mary of Scotland. Great story.

Yay! We’re back to a story about the Council. This switches back and forth between Marie de Guise’s history and Sam & Allison helping Marie find a lost friend in France. Sam really gets her and Alison in a jam.
Footnote: 1) More editing errors. Such as: we want communities to be united not untied.
2) The transition from the last chapter to the Epilogue was too abrupt. Wish they’d been a continuation of the action at the end.
Fave scenes: Margaret’s decision making idea, Marie’s surprise visitor, Marie’s special night and Marie’s letter to her daughter.

Great book
I don't write long reviews and do a lot of critiquing of a book. I just write enough to let people know that this is an enjoyable book and if you enjoy the further adventures of Sam Moon then you should enjoy this one.

Could be a great read
I enjoyed the book but it would have been so much better without all the typos, missing punctuation and missing words. If someone is proofreading these books, they need to do way better.
