Love conquers all … but can it conquer the Darkness?

My mates have laid it all on the line, including their hearts. The four dragons of the Omega Hive have been my fierce protectors, but I’m not sure that’s enough anymore. I’m starting to wonder if life on this island might just be the death of me.

Or … the death of everyone.

My limits were tested during the academy’s first two terms. Now, as I enter the third, it’s clear I’ve only scratched the surface before now. For starters, I’m spiraling, and thanks to a few bad decisions, I’ve lost nearly everyone’s trust.

I should have given up by now, but I can’t seem to do that.

It isn’t lost on me that my days are numbered, but that won’t stop me from saving as many as I can from what I sense on the horizon.

Even if the terror that awaits is … me.

There’s no way to tell whether good will triumph over evil in the end. Let’s just hope that, as the darkness continues to grow within me, I’m still able to tell the difference.

This book seemed really short but it may just be because I was totally absorbed in the story. I love how her hive and her family came together to fight for her. Even after her dad got a little surprise that he didn't enjoy at all. It really was the perfect ending to the series. There is a bonus epilogue that you can request after reading the series. It was nice to have that extra little piece showing the aftermath of all that happened. I enjoyed this book and the bonus epilogue as well. I will be looking for more by this author.

3.5 to 4 stars. I have to admit that this book has kept me just as absorbed as the last book and hallelujah for the Calvary. Really it was awesome her dad walking in on.. that. But that ending felt way less satisfying than I would have liked. I kept waiting for Noelle to have an "aha" moment, something where she saw the light and finally had a plan other than to sacrifice herself for no reason which seems to be her go to. Needless to say I've spent alot of the last book as well as this one just constantly frustrated with her and the guys too. Noone seems to be coming up with a plan. So when daddy arrives I'm pretty sure I rl sighed in relief. It was definitely helpful in this book in the series to have read The Lost Royals series, at least for me because I knew the characters and their personalities and knew crap was about to go down.

While we definitely have a great build up over the books in the series but I have to say the Climax was a little on the fly by the seat of your pants and a little too convenient for me. It just lacked the satisfaction that having Noelle overcome her weaknesses and her self esteem issues would have given. I am super happy about the HEA we get here in book 3 and the author even provided some bonus material about Noelle and her dudes on the island. The series as a whole was good for me but the ending kind of left me a tad bit unsatisfied, maybe it just needed more "overcoming" for my tastes.

Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.

Dragon Fire Academy Third Term is the final book in the Dragon Fire Academy series and it was an epic fast-pace conclusion that was full of action, steamy romance, betrayal, an ancient evil hell bent on world domination, so of course I loved it.

This is it, everything has been leading to this. The darkness has a hold on Noelle, changing her and after the tragic events in the second book, her mates aren't even sure they can get Noelle back. Two vying factions are warring with Noelle and things aren't looking good for anyone. Everything is coming to an end will the Omegas get Noelle back, can Noelle defeat the darkness inside and will their relationship still be standing in the end.

Third Term was so amazingly good, I quick devoured the book. It was fast-paced and kept me glued to the book. So many things happened, I had all the feels from heartbreak to great laugh-out-loud moments and everything in-between. The story sort of came full circle, I realize things that were not only planted in the previous two books but things that were from the previous series and while you don't have to read the Lost Royals saga I highly suggest you do. It gives the event in Dragon Fire Academy more context and make the story that much richer. Rachel also dropped some easter eggs about her next series which takes place in the same world, which I'm highly anticipating.

Rachel does an excellent job with relationship connections, I love how connected Noelle is to her family, how connected the Omegas are to not only each other but to their people and most of all how connected Noelle and the Omegas are. Each of the guys bring a different aspect to the group dynamics and while even though they all are her mates they have to work at their relationship like you do will all relationships, that things aren't always easy.

All of my questions were answered and I have such a good feeling after finishing Dragon Fire Academy Third Term. I loved everything about this book, it was such a good read and I feel very satisfied with the ending I got. I am very attached to the characters from both series that take place in the world and while I might miss the characters for a little bit, I'm pretty sure I will be seeing some familiar characters in Rachel's upcoming series, Dragon Fire Penitentiary.

“This has never been conditional,” I declared. “Our bond is non-negotiable. It might take some time, but Ori will realize that, too.”

Dragon Fire Academy has been such an adventure to follow. Rachel was able to take some of our beloved characters and bring them back into a new story while also creating something entirely unique and it’s own. Noelle and her Omega’s have intertwined themselves into the story of Liam, Evangeline, and Nick to where I can’t tell where one series ends and the new one begins. You won’t find me complaining one bit about it either.

Third Term is the peak of our plot with Noelle and her guys. Everything has been building and the threat of the darkness has never been closer to having Noelle in its grasp as it is now. What’s worse is Ori no longer trust his queen, with years of the Darkness threatening the ones he loves he isn’t willing to take the chance of someone as powerful as his mate and queen losing control.

But where there is darkness there is light and Noelle’s destined mates are the light that she so desperately holds onto with her battle against a longtime enemy. One that just can’t seem to let her go, no matter which life time she lives.

“There is but one source of evil,” she continued, “and when it comes to Noelle, evil’s objective has remained the same.”

With everyone who loves and cares for Noelle gathering together on the island is the perfect opportunity for the darkness to not only full take over Noelle but use her to defeat anyone that stands in its way. In the ultimate conclusion to Rachels Dragon Fire Academy series, Noelle and her mates learn that no matter how dark the moment may be, as long as you have each other love with always bring you back into the light.

“Whatever it took to save her, we were more than willing to go the distance.”

Dragon Fire Academy 3

What would you do for someone you love? How much of yourself are you willing to give up for the people that you love? How much is too much?

These are all questions that we ask ourselves at one point or another. But for our MC Noelle, this question never even hits her forethought, Noelle just gave and gave of herself, never thinking that in saving one of the men that she loves....she might lose the others.

As the repercussions of Noelle’s decisions to save her mate are used against her by others she thought would always stand beside her, she soon realizes that the troubles on the island and with the darkness May have had more of an affect on her than she previously thought.

Join Noelle and her sexy and deadly team as they fight not only the darkness but each other as they try and figure out who has been betraying them....and how deeply the conspiracy has been played, this is the last book of the series....but I have to admit my favorite.

If you love adventure, a fantastic story then this is the book for you.

I love these characters so much--something about them really makes you care about them all--and to follow their dark and twisted paths to the end has been a great ride.
Noelle is a likable heroine who always tries to do the right thing...but her mistakes lead her down a path to darkness. And while her guys try to save her from that darkness, and herself, she ends up saving them more times than not. Strong, bull-headed, and ready for whatever life throws at her, Noelle is fun to read and really draws you into the story.
The Omega Hive guys go through a lot in this book, dealing with trauma, terror, and one very pissed of Dad. :) Some familiar faces from The Lost Royals Saga show up, and it's awesome...and funny.
Definitely recommend this book AND the whole series. Great read.

Without a doubt....ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN BRILLIANT end to this series! The Darkness, and the Chief have vastly underestimated Noelle and her guys!!! Noelle was put through the ringer in this, and became the person she was meant to become. I didn't think her guys would fear anything.... Until her father showed up LOL. My heart jumped for joy revisiting Noelle's family from LOST ROYALS series! This is the ultimate good vs evil, and every page, every round was brilliantly done! Sheer perfection, and an epic conclusion.

Dragon Fire Academy 3 is the final installment of Rachel Jonas’s Dragon Academy series. The author picks up where book two left off with Noelle and her mates dealing with a strike of tragedy and the repercussions that are quick to follow. The Darkness is inching deeper into Noelle with the choices that she makes. Her mates begin to struggle with this and how it is threatening even their bond. A dangerous game is being played and Noelle will either rise above and bring peace or will be consumed by the very Darkness that craves her soul.
Dragon Fire Academy: Third Term brings this series to a close with Noelle’s final battle with the Darkness. The author paints a vivid picture of her struggle to hold on to the good inside herself and deal with the changes that the Darkness is forcing on her. She’s having her buttons pushed on a variety of levels as the Chief begins to reveal the truth behind his own agenda. Actions have consequences and Noelle is reaping them in spades.
The story is interesting, but there are a few places of where I felt that there are pieces of it missing. I honestly felt that this series could have been extended for a fourth book, if the author had given more detail in places and given readers more of the storyline of things that happened in certain places. There were moments of where the pace of the story slowed down too much for me and I had to push to keep going. I also didn’t like how the Chief just disappears and then pops up again near/at the end. I’d have liked it if he had shown up and disappeared again a couple of times to amp up the drama and danger.
The book is good, so I’m rating it 4 out of 5 stars. The book has its slow moments, and then it gets engaging again. There are a couple of sex scenes, but the author leaves most of it to the readers’ imagination after giving a nice lead-up. The ending is decent, but the middle part needed a bit more of beefing up. All in all, it’s a good conclusion to the series and answers some questions raised rather nicely. If you’ve read this series to this point then I recommend you read how it all ends.

I guess I will have the unpopular opinion.

As the last installment it was packed with action and yet...I was bored out of my mind struggling to get through it. Everything just felt so forced. Every event,every romance aspect,every action boggled my mind of how disconnected, forced and out of place it felt. Truthfully, the only interesting thing was the final showdown from the moment they faced the Chief. About 5 pages or so. THAT felt real,full of emotions and nicely executed. The rest is a crap.

Warning: in a trilogy about dragon and wolf shifters there is not a single shift to dragon! Yes,some fire on hands and couple of wings sprouting, but c'mon! How does that make them dragon species? During book we get 1! episode of full wolf shift(stating it occured without an actual description) and another mention at the end when it is mentioned someone shifted and are in their wolf forms. For a shifter book where species are mentioned in nearly every page,it is ridiculous!
And academy still plays no role whatsoever.

So,it was a disappointment for me and I seriously considered to not finish reading. This bad impression will prevent me from ever picking up anything this author writes. Not worth the time.

THIS IS IT, THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

I swear to you, Rachel never dissapoints. Term three starts exactly were term two ended. There are more twist and turns in this book than Kindle could handle. I must admitted I am so in love with the Omegas. Faults and all they are perfection. There is something so real and endearing about them that pulls you in, and makes you relate to what they are going through and the depth of their love for Noelle.

Meanwhile, Rayen struggles with the effects being brought back to life and tries his hardest to keep it from the others. Noelle though, struggles with darkness harassing hers but she tries her hardest to allow her mates to be the light that keeps her grounded. Chief on the other hand is being the coward he is by hiding out, yet is still planning his evil scheme and we're trying to figure out what it has to do with Noelle.

The Omegas main goal is trying to stop darkness from overtaking both Noelle and the island. Along with trying to find and take down Chief. The hardest part for me and I won't go into details, is the distance Ori puts not only between he and Noelle but the rest of the hive as well.

I'm not going to lie, there is one scene with Liam, Noelle's father and his intro to the Omegas that will forever be burned in my brain.(No spoilers here, youhave to read it.)

Noelle and her men will be tested in ways they never truly imagine but through these trial they will come to understand that as long as they have each other, they can overcome any obstacle. Cue the dramatic sigh.

This book is amazing. Every intrigual person in Noelle's life has gathered on the island and come to her aide in order to help her along with the Omegas fight that battle of evil that is trying to take over Noelle. Thanks to Blythe that is and her trusty spell work. I really loved that we got some many of the characters from the Royal saga in this book. But darkness has it's own goals; not only will darkness attempt to take over Noelle's life it will go out of it's way to destroy anyone bold enough that stand in it's path. This book will leave you gasping for more, laughing your butt off, crying and rejoicing. This is the perfect ending to this series and I am thoroughly looking forward to the next series.

~~~~~The book was given to me as an ARC for my honest opinion.
My new gold standard for paranormal romance
This book is the series conclusion for Dragon Fire Academy. Book 2 Left us with one heckuva cliffhanger. Everything is tied together and wrapped up with the a nice little bow by the end. For this book as well as the series, it is intense and exciting, funny and sexy. I love the world that was created in this series and I fell alone with all the characters. There are so many scenes I want to reference in detail, but don't want to do spoilers. Especially when daddy aka Liam, aka The Reaper, gets to the island and shows up at her bungalow. I laughed so hard, yet feared for the guys a little. The scene with Paulo and the van, freaking hot. Kia is probably my favorite and his scene in the spirit world was fantastic. This book will keep you guessing, make you want to throw your kindle, other times it couldn't your kindle. The darkness and the chiefs goals are so far reaching and have been in play for so long, I was honestly shocked. I was also shocked by who tried to kill Ray.
Noelle is put for revenge and the guys are trying to find her, before the darkness can take her over. Her friends make a "call" to her royal family for help and Ray is struggling. The Chief goes MIA and everything seems to be falling apart. The Chief keeps pushing her to go to the darkness , from behind the scenes. Ori is being a massive jerk. Then the chief pushes too far and it ends up bringing all of them together on a mission to save the innocent.
So many moving parts and masterfully put together. It was exciting and I am sad the series is done. Definite HEA, written multiple POV.
The conclusion to Noelle and the Omegas story is quite the page turner. The book picks right up where the last one ended, with the Omegas trying to look for Noelle after she ran off and we also learn who was behind what happened to Rayen. Throughout the whole book Noelle and the Omegas are trying to stop the darkness from taking complete control over Noelle and the Island, and trying to make heads or tails of where the Chief might being hiding out and figuring out how is involved while he keeps throwing curve balls their way ever step of the way. My least favorite part of this book is the distance Ori puts between himself and Noelle. While he has his reasons for doing it that include not having full trust in Noelle's actions and moral compass since the darkness started to invade her. Keeping apart from the rest of the hive in my opinion was unnecessary and could have took them back to the way they were in the beginning when Ori was being standoffish to Noelle. On the opposite end, my favorite scene of this book was when Daddy Liam "meet" the Omegas for the first time. In Noelle's words being "caught red-handed" was a great way to make that meeting quite memorable and make sure that Liam knocks before entering a room or at least give a little heads up now that his little princess is all grown up. I do love that everyone (the Omegas, the whole Royal family, the other hives and even Noelle's friends) pulled together in the end to help Noelle and that little twist on how to defeat the darkness once and for all. All in all this book was a great conclusion to Noelle and the Omegas journey towards their happily ever after and I cannot wait until the first book in the Dragon Fire Penitentiary series comes out since I love this amazing world that Rachel has created between this series and the Lost Royals series.
AHHHH, this ending was everything I hoped for and more!! Noelle has been manipulated for far too long and has been pushed too far. Rayen struggles with the side affects from being resurrected and tries to keep it hidden from the rest of his hive. Ori takes a leave of absence from the group after Noelle betrays him while rescuing Rayen. With the Chief in hiding everyone is on edge because they don't know what is going to happen next. In a last attempt to help save Noelle, Blythe cast a spell hoping to contact Noelle's family in the previous book. Of course they show up at the worst time possible. The moment Liam walked in I just about lost it. Rachel could not of made that reunion any more memorable. Now with the help from her hive, friends, and family she possibly stands a chance against the darkness. I absolutely fell in love with this series. I enjoyed watching Liam and Evangeline's daughter discover who she was truly meant to be. This was the perfect ending to her story and I found myself finishing it within one day as I simply could not put it down. I highly recommend you read this.
I received an ARC for my honest opinion.
Noelle and her Four Dragon Warriors are heart-breakingly loveable
Dragon Fire Academy, Book 3, picks up right where Book 2 ends. If you haven’t read Books 1 & 2 of this series, STOP! Do NOT pass GO, you won’t regret ensuring you’re completely immersed in Ms Jonas’ well-written Reverse Harem Paranormal Young Adult Fantasy World. What a fantastic story! No, not a story…. an ADVENTURE! Ms Jonas remains one of my favorite Paranormal Authors. Noelle and her Four Dragon Warriors are heart-breakingly loveable. I truly wish I could have my own Dragon Hive. But, I digress. Great storytelling, great adventure, twists and turns, ups and downs. I’m so glad I hopped on to this moving train. But wait….there’s MORE!! Noelle’s sister has her own adventure coming. After my complete satisfaction with this Series, and the “Lost Royals” Series that is the story of Noelle’s parents, I’ll DEFINITELY read the next Series.
So in love with this series
I have been waiting for this book for what seems like forever but actually it’s only been a few months!!
I fell in love with this series so hard and now that it’s a completed series I can honestly say it’s one I will read again.
The characters are fantastic and their lives jump off the page so much that I frequently gave them my opinions like they were living breathing people. I had serious Gogglebox moments and if anyone was recording me they would have laughed!
It’s always bittersweet when reading the finale of a series but rest assured there is a HEA for the Omega Hive. It was also great to see our favourite characters from the Lost Royals saga, the meet the parents was ‘Classic’ and I could stop snorting!
Loved, loved, loved it!!!!
Absolutely loved the conclusion! I can't imagine Noelle's internal struggle against a darkness that's unpredictable as well as trying to stay ahead of it to save the island. To save everyone she loves and cares. I found it memorable that the first time her Dad meets the hive is a scene that was quite memorable. I'm so glad the hive was able to convince even the reaper of their love and devotion to Noelle. Even more surprising was their ability and willingness to include Noelle's mom into their tether. Love (whether from family, friends, etc) can help overcome the most obstinate obstacle. What an epic conclusion! #mustread kudos!
Great ending to an amazing series
I absolutely loved this series from the first book, and this conclusion to the series was just as great. This book picks up where the last left off and dives right back into the drama and angst. Our girl Noelle has to face several challenges to overcome in this installment and Jonas gives us readers quite a ride - there’s action, heartache, turmoil, and some steam in Noelle and the Omega hive’s fight for survival. Definitely recommend this book and series.
Dragon Fire Academy
Thank you, Rachel Jonas, for another exciting, inspiring, thoughtful, romantic story. Thank you for giving us such beautiful settings, handsome men and strong, beautiful women. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and the previous series - Lost Royal Saga. Following this family through three generations has been heart breaking, tear jerking, and tremendously fulfilling.
Thank you again.
Wow! This third and last book in the in the series. Noelle and her men were a fantastic read that will have you wanting more. The story picked up where it left off in book 2 and you would be biting your nails in anticipation. Rachel has created a world that will take you on a journey of darkness and lightness that will have your emotions up and down. I loved reading about Noelle's journey with the omega's and oh what a journey it's been. The story was beautifully designed and the story summed up in the perfect conclusion. This series is an instant re-read and one to remember.
I loved read Noelle's and the Omega's journey together. Just like all relationships they have their ups and downs. With the Darkness causing problems and the Chief too along the way. Her family has come to the rescue to help as well. Only her dad catxhes them in an ackward situation at firsr meet. His little girl has grown up. He wants to know that this what she wants and that she is looked after and loved. What will happen when the Darkness and the Chief have their final showdown with Noellle and the Omegas? I so wish that their was more to the series!
The Grand Finale! Couldn't put this book down.
What a roller-coaster of a series. In this book Noelle finds her strengths and her ability to use her one of a kind powers! The fight with the 'Darkness' is upon us and it is epic. The power of love seeps through every line in this story.
So lovely to catch up with some of our favourites from the Lost Royals Saga. I love how Ms Jonas provides a magical journey of the mind. Scenery, characters and comraderie are integral to her books.
I read this story as an ARC and am providing an honest review.
“Your love might be the thing that saves her.”
I loved the end to Noelle and the Omegas’ tale.
It’s very much a story about unconditional love, trust and unity. So many people love Noelle and it was great to see them come together to fight with her and for her. I was on the edge of my seat, holding my breath and trying to anticipate what was going to happen while adventuring through the unknown with them. I would definitely recommend reading this one and making the journey too.
I loved everything about this book. It was the perfect conclusion to what has been an epic love story. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire book. Noelle is what every RH heroine should be: B/A yet still able to lean on her guys when necessary. Such a satisfying conclusion and I can't wait to read the next series as Rachel is an amazing author.
I like this author. I like the series with the heroine's parents. I like the heroine's friends. I like the heroine's mates. I like her family. But I can't say I really like Noelle, which pains me cause I enjoyed her parents' romance a lot and I was excited to read her journey.
Rather that leave a review for each book in this trilogy, I'm just going to leave this one with this final book mainly cause I hoped my feelings for Noelle would change as the story progressed but they really didn't. Some of my irritation with her is on the heroes too cause I felt they kept coddling her cause they were so happy to have her in their lives that even when one of them was right about her inability to think about consequences, it kinda gets glossed over where her atonement and growth aren't apparent at all. (ORI WAS RIGHT!! AND YET... UGH). I thought the overall mystery story was engrossing despite my issues with the heroine being underwhelming. I wish Noelle had been more interestingly flawed instead of spoiled & immature cause I would have enjoyed things more in the story especially with her primarily wonderful mates. I really wanted more for Liam & Evangeline's eldest child than how she turned out.
[side note: Noelle is quarter Black, Quarter European White, and half Egyptian... she should have more melanin than what is showing on the cover of the books. I'm just saying.]
I need to see if Toni will get a book cause she deserves a front-burner romance.
