Beckett's dead and Suzan's been institutionalized.
And now, with the two of them out of the way, the twisted DNR Group is free to pursue their brutal agenda without opposition. What they didn't count on, however, is someone unexpected stepping up and trying to put a stop to them. I mean, there are more than seven billion people on this planet... somebody has to step up, don't they?
DON'T THEY?????????????
You're going to have to pre-order the fifth book in the best-selling Dr. Beckett Campbell series to find out!
True story: I used to cut up bodies. No, not for fun, you sickos–for work. After reaching the age of majority and fleeing the clutches of an overprotective mother, I went to university like a good boy.
More than a decade later and an alphabet soup of letters after my name, I found myself looking down the double-chamber of a microscope at an eyeball. Feeling ironically introspective, I decided that it was time for a change.
After seventy plus novels and more than a million copies sold, I’ve found my true calling, one that also includes a plethora of letters. Hopefully you see something in my catalog that you like, something to feast your eyes on.
I also have two spooky podcasts that are appropriate for ALL ages, so long as you like to be scared: P.T. Logan's Five Minutes of Terror and Camp Fear. Both are FREE and available on all podcast platforms. For MATURE audiences, I've created two fiction podcasts, Nightmare Residue and Bad Priest.
I'm on all socials! Just search for AuthorPatrickLogan.
Buckle Buttercup🤪 Logan has brought peace to Beckett ☠ in his own way. Patrick's got the gang together again, so back off the bitch train and enjoy the ride, if you can handle 🤯
Wow doesn’t even cover the wild ride that this book takes you on. Fantastic read filled with so many shocking twists and turns all the way until the end.
My favorite Beckett book so far! I’m not giving away anything because you have to read this to find out what happens. If you haven’t read any of the books start with the Drake series and then with Beckett’s first story. You will be reading everything from Patrick Logan after that!!
I'm going to miss Beckett. He's a unique character and provided a lot of laughs and excitement. I loved having all the familiar characters present for this one. Personally I don't know if I would trust Bradley not to one day turn on Beckett. What DNR was and was doing was scary. What they were doing to these poor people in the institution was horrendous. Once again this ragtag group saved the day! Moving on to the next in series and than I think I'll read about Tommy Wilde next.
This medical who done it will strip your sleep out of you
Who is the bad guy? That is the question this conclusion to this saga begs to be asked. Dr Beckett Campbell a and his crazy cast of characters take the reader on a rollercoaster of a ride clear until the end. This will someday appear on the big screen. Well worth your time.
OMG Beckett is still alive and has a brain tumor no less. So glad Damian Drake came back and rescued Susan. I'm gonna miss these characters, so I'm hoping to see them again. One series left. The Wilde series. Keep writing Patrick and I'll definitely keep reading.
Is this the end of Beckett? Will his misfit friends find Suzan before it is too late? Will they be able to find the answers that they need to bring DNR or will they win again? A great ending to the series.
I absolutely love Beckett and I’m super happy with the ending of his series. Patrick Logan is an amazing writer that will hold you captive with his words. I highly recommend any of his books, fingers crossed to many many more.
I’m sad this is the end of dr. Beckett Campbell, but I’m so very glad I was able to read his silly stories!!! I almost always find myself laughing out loud during these stories and I sure hope he comes back in the near future! 💖
It was a fun read. Hate it’s the end of Beckett’s series. Was a 4 maybe 5 start review until I read the author’s note however. Unfortunately this will have to be my last Patrick Logan book.
Now I have more questions...will this be the end of Beckett and Suzan? What about the gang? What about the kid? What about others in DNR? Too many questions, so on to the next book!
I had to read this series before continuing the frame series, such a great ending for Beckett who I kinda of love even though he's a serial killer.I loved all the twists you added in the last two books, and Suzan is one scary woman.
This was a fantastic series!! I’m sad it is finished. Loved all the characters. It was nail biting and I enjoyed it a lot. All the suspense, action and twists and turns were great. I hope to see Beckett again in one of the other series.
What a wonderful way to end the Beckett series! Everyone loves a happy ending at least i know i do! I sure do hope Beckett,Susan and Bradley come back in another book.
I'll miss Beckett. He is one of my favorite character. I lived his personality. The storyline was one of drama, emotions, loose ends came to a close ... Or have they truly. Perhaps one day Beckett will be called back ... Will DNR truly let him live?
And finally, on volume #5, everything wraps up and all the loose strings from the previous books got nicely put together. If you’ve grabbed this book from the store you probably (and hopefully) already know Dr. Beckett Campbell and all the gang that the author built so well along the series, so I won’t give away anything from the story, except... ok, Beckett didn't die in the last book (you're shouting MAJOR SPOILER, but did you really believed in that?... how could you have this book without him?) and now he can finally have his revenge against DNR helped by Susan and Drake (I really want to read the Drake series now)... If you like the genre (medical/crime thriller with gore, profanity and cheap jokes) I guarantee that you’ll have a blast… read them all in order, like I just did – this was quite a ride and I do still think it would be an awesome TV series starring Aaron Paul as Beckett!
This last book of the series? (last? well, if the author doesn't decide he needs some easy money and write a couple more... I still remember Mick Jagger promising in 1991 that the Stones wouldn't play "Satisfaction" anymore!) really has it all and I forced myself to make it last and read it slowly through several weeks, tasting every page , every crazy twist and sick joke! As always, Patrick Logan's writing is awesome (probably not for all readers though, there's some serious cursing, strong dark humor, hardcore violence and sexual innuendos in almost every page) and I give it five stars without hesitation!
I leave you with a wonderful paragraph from this book that I printed, framed and put on the wall near my desk at work:
“Too often, we go through our lives just accepting what others tell us because they have more experience than us, or more authority than us, or they’re someone who wears nicer clothes or drives a faster car. That’s bullshit. Worse, it’s lazy. I want you guys to question things. You have almost infinite knowledge available to you on the internet. And, once you’ve watched every YouPorn video, you can also contact literally anyone in the world and get a opinion on your work, on life, on anything you want. Use this. Get smarter. Get better. And most of all, have fun because before you know it, you’ll be like me: dead!”
I was really hoping you would revive Dr. Beckette and I am glad everybody got together and saved him and Susan. I thoroughly enjoyed the he'll out of this book. I would love to see how Beckette and Susan are raising Bradley and whether or not they get married and adopt little Bradley. I have read all the series from Chase to Drake and then to Beckett. I just couldn't stop reading them and see what happens next. I am looking forward the next book from each of the three.
I rated this novel only three stars because of the great number of errors in the text. Whoever did the proof reading missed a mass of mistakes, and that truly effected my pleasure in the read! This seemed as though the author lost interest in the characters, finding an expeditious to put an end the series. A happy ending? Well the problems with Beckett's thought process was due a benign tumor in his brain, supposedly impacting his inhibitions as well as his ability to function when the headaches struck. Supposedly the doctor responsible for disposal of so many DNR- Do Not Resusitate- patients removed the tumor, changing Beckett's life for good.
Awesome, fast paced read. You won't regret reading any book by this author! I challenge you to read one of his books...you will, undoubtedly, be hooked!
Patrick - you are an amazing author. Beckett - I miss you already you devious imp. I will miss all the other cast of misfits as well. It's like saying goodbye to family. Maybe sadder😞
