Gabriel Stone: wolf shifter
He has longed for his fated mate for years. After the death of his father, he became the Alpha of his pack and must fulfill the mating clause before the year is up. With three months left, all hope seems to be waning. But a chance encounter could be his saving grace.
Nina Carmichael: human
She has writers block. Bad. Taking a working-vacation, she discovers Everett Hollow, Washington. Here in this tiny town, she finds a whole lot more than writing ideas. Her world as she knows it is about to grow a whole lot bigger.
Just as Gabriel and Nina start to discover that their futures, an unforeseen threat interrupts. An unknown enemy has lurked around the corner for the last year, biding his time.
Will this enemy keep Gabriel from what he's always wanted?
Or will it shatter Nina?
In the face of defeat, how can two, become one?

This paranormal wolf shifter romance is a full length, standalone novel. As always, it has no cheating, no cliffhanger, and of course, a happily ever after..

Thank you for stopping by! I have always had a very active imagination since childhood. This was further fed by my love of reading. If I have a spare minute, I am reading some new book! After college, I decided to try to expand my horizons into writing (and actually finishing a story idea). With some hard work and a little elbow grease, I'm starting to get there!

I currently live in Georgia with my family and fur baby. When not writing or reading, I'm in the kitchen baking or drinking wine! (I don't care what some say, but this is a good way to get ideas flowing!) And when wine is not on the menu, I'm thinking about tacos. Cause, tacos.

Sometimes less can be more but that is not the case when it comes to “The Mating Clause” - less is just less.
It's lacking in pace, the plotting is almost non-existent, the editing should have been much better – the only area in which it scores high is in reader boredom.
Author Nina Carmichael, in the middle of a writing slump, has rented a cabin in small town Everett Hollow, Washington.
Unbeknownst to her it is Wolf Shifter Central and the Alpha, Gabriel Stone, is running out of time to find his Mate.
Could it be?
Yep!
But she's human … he doesn't care.
There's a rather half-hearted plot concerning an attempt on her life by a would-be Alpha and a completely off-the-wall piece of ephemera concerning prophetic dreams.
If you don't ask much from your books you won't be disappointed.
Me, I've just finished it and it is already fading from my mind.

Gabriel ❤️ Nina

Another fated mate story with a shifter and a human that knows nothing about the shifter world. Characters Nina and Gabriel are very likable and endearing. Story is simple and that makes it good in its own way. Only one "dangerous" scene and just mostly a romantic love with a HEA. Thanks Amelia.

Alpha mate

A human writer moves to town and is claimed by the alpha but not all in the pack are happy about the mating of the alpha.

Quick read. Easy shifter romance. Not to dramatic. Would recommend for a quick before bedtime read but this book just doesn't have a lot of action or a thick plot.

The character development is horrid! Everything happens so fast and there isn't much detail.

I'm not sure why the last reviewer disliked the book so much. I was looking for a quick read that would be entertaining. That was exactly what I got with this book! I loved the creative story line and was wanting more after finishing the book! What more can you ask for in a book? This is a great pool side or beach trip book. I have read the rest of the series and feel that Amelia Parker is an author to watch and see what she comes up with next. Read the rest of the series and you won't be disappointed.

Keeps you interested

This is one of the best werewolf books I've read. It keeps you pulled in at every turn. The only complaint I have is there isn't a book two.
