An urban fantasy, dragon reverse harem romance.

Death is in the air.

It always seems to be, lately. Blood. Mayhem. Destruction.

It just follows me.

The people after me—they’re relentless. They’ve hunted me from the moment I stepped into this new power. They say it’s not mine. That it belongs to the dragon Bosses. Hell, maybe even to the gods themselves.

Well, anyone who wants my magic can fight me for it.

I’m a diamond dragon, and the only one of my kind. Though I’ve been able to keep that a secret while my dragon and I get to know each other, we can’t hide the truth much longer.

Sooner or later, we’ll come across a battle I can’t protect her from. We’ll have to go into the ring together, and once we do, there’s no turning back.

Because there’s only one thing the Bosses want more than my magic.

They want me.

Vengeance, justice, honor—whatever the powerful dragons of this world try to take from me, I’ll get back three-fold.

Good luck to the fools who try me.

Death of Dragons is a full-length novel with a badass heroine, a riveting storyline, and an alternative relationship dynamic. Get ready for a heart-pounding story filled with a dragon shifter romance unlike anything you’ve read before.

Buckle in for heart-pounding action, breathtaking magic, dragon shifters, sexy bad-boys with badass weapons, deadly assassins, four drop-dead gorgeous leading men, and lots of toned muscles.

Most importantly—a young woman’s journey of justice, self-discovery, and freedom as she steps into the truth of who—and what—she is.

Love it!

These books get better and better the further in we get. I absolutely love this series. Tucker is seriously the best! And Jace? Mmmm I like the others as well, but I think I'm claiming these two!

Ashgrave is so awesome! I love that he is a little mechanical dragon! The evil butler makes me laugh almost everytime he talks!

Love, love, love this series!

What a heart stopping non stop action filled book this one was. I’m in love with Rory and all her men, how she manages to survive all the battles she gets caught in are some of the most amazing writing. Olivia finds more and more action for Rory every time, as for the sexy scenes with each of her men, I’ve never had so many cold showers in my life. Can’t wait to see where Rory goes from here. Highly recommended.

To trust or not to trust?

Can Rory trust her magic as a dragon? Can she trust her smite-happy castle not to turn on her if it gets more power? Can she trust Brett to continue to try to redeem himself, when his suggestions put her in danger? Can she trust Harper to be a good Bos and friends when her eye is fixed firmly on revenge? Can she trust Isaac to be the good guy his reputation says he is even after he attacked her memories and threatened to steal her? Can she trust Jace to not push for an army? Can she trust her intuition as she goes against everything she learned as a Spectre?

Spoilers ahead.
Everything is coming down to trust. Emotions and events are heating up and will have to either come to a head soon or be suppressed to the point that the enemy loses every advantage they have. Already the Vaer have an ally, and no one wants to go against the insane annihilative forces that Kinsley uses. And can she really trust an ally that has already tried or threatened to kidnap her, tried to steal her magic, bind her magic or control her? Something that every single Boss has done. But she can't let every other clan go against them, either. That's certain death for the Fairfax clan and her family of 5 plus castle plus permanent guest. A lot of thinking, guessing and planning goes on here and some things go differently than you think. There were a few scenes that felt too easily resolved, rushed on to the next issue without real resolution, but the series hasn't lost its edge yet.

Still loving this series, but honestly, there were some inconsistencies to the story which occur in this book and it brought down my rating. For instance, the secrets of the specters involving Zuri and their mother are told to Rory by Irena as an explanation of why Irena was trying to sabotage the specters and leave with Rory earlier in the series, so why is the revelation of a newly discovered letter outlining this information and the connection of the previous ghost, Marcus, to their mother such a shock to Rory and Irena??? Doesn't make sense. Perhaps the author was not expecting her readers to remember these facts from previous books, but some things just stick. Going to keep reading this series because I love the story and the characters, just a little bit annoyed by story inconsistencies.

Full Series Review (No Spoilers):

When I first started reading I absolutely loved this series. I fell in love with the characters and the world building. The spice levels were low, but growing as the story developed. FMC was strong and capable and the men were sexy and charismatic.

Then things slowed down. Spicy scenes faded to black and the story became predictable and repetitive. Once Rory built her family, the books switched from a romantic reverse harem fantasy to a YA fantasy that still had the main character in a reverse harem relationship. Zero RH scenes and the story was SUPER predictable.

I didn't end up finishing the series. Maybe I will one day, but it just didn't hold my interest anymore with my TBR ever growing. DNFed sometime during Queen of Dragons - book 7.

Another decent installment

This is another decent installment furthering the story and plot along in Rory’s adventure to keep this war from happening. It’s so crazy all this stuff happening, tons of adventure, tons of mystery and intrigue and tons of distrustful moments. I really am not sure where this will end up or how the world Rory and her men live in will end up once I get to the end of the series but this one allowed us to gain more insight into who is for or against Rory.

On to the next one here soon.

no repeats just new adventures

Rory, Levi, Tucker, Drew and Jace accompanied by the castle Ashgrave dragon out into the capitals of the bosses to negotiate or fight. Despite their love and protection Rory must learn to control the wild magic her dragon as brought on. Saving innocents has made her even more of a diamond dragon queen. The no shift rule goes out the door when her men are at stake. Moving on to the next in this series!

This was a pretty good series. Slow burn and the sex scenes are medium hot at best when they occur. This series is 8 books long and it does have a fairly good plot but it just didn't resonate with me as much as other fantasy series.

It has a great start, a solid middle, and a good ending.

Great story continues

Rory is fascinating as she continues to evolve in her magic and her skills as a dragon. She also proves that forgiveness is a powerful weapon.

This book is packed with action! Rory and her gang are taking on the Knights and the other dragon Bosses, all while searching for the orbs to restore Ashgrave’s full power. Another of Rory’s enemies is defeated in this installment. Unfortunately, there’s not much time for romance or relaxation, which is a bit of a letdown. I wish there were at least a little downtime between the fights, but these books are all nonstop battles, missions, and wars.

I still love this series.

To my great frustration I somehow missed when Olivia Ash’s Fall of Dragons (Dragon Dojo Brotherhood, Book 5) was launched. The silver lining of this, though, is that once I read it I was able to immediately turn to Book 6, Death of Dragons. Lucky me, as these book were equally superb. I love this series, not just because I adore dragon fantasy tales (dragon stories are my catnip), or because reverse harem romance tales are soooo yummy when done well (certainly the case here), but because the plot, character development, world-building and writing of this series are all simply fantastic. I’m totally invested in Rory and her guys, and now that she’s finally come into her being the only diamond dragon, with the vast possibilities (powers) - and, yes, dangers that entails, things are just getting even more “interesting”. I’d always bet on her, though, as she’s just the supreme kick-a** sorta gal I adore (and her guys are nothing to ignore either, and I’m not just talking about the *sigh* super yummy “adult” adventures). All in all pretty perfect and highly recommended.

Another jam packed story with Rory school trying find allies for fighting against Kinsley, and coming up a little short. Diesel is still running his anti-Rory campaign using Spectre files and Ashgrave keeps the castle inhabitants jumping just by talking to them, lol. Rory will find out a few things about herself and her dragon, she will do her best to keep everyone focused on the big picture, and she and her men will kick butt and take names. In the end she will have a new recruit, and maybe start trusting an old one. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Rise of a Heroine!

Daaaammmn! Olivia does it again! This series just keeps getting better and better. The action in this book is incredible! The description in the fight scene with Kinsley is so amazing that I felt like I was right there watching the whole battle. I could feel the cold from the ice magic, smell the metallic scent of the blood and hear the wind whipping through Rory's wings. I love that Rory is a hero and people love her now. But my favorite scene is the one that shows Rory's ability to forgive and how she can help someone whose past is so similar to her own.

Love this series

I swear each new book in this series is better than the last. There are so many twists and turns. From enemies, friendship, betrayal, and enemies to friends, there are diverse characters. I love to watch Rory mature and develop into a strong independent woman, who is leaning to forgive and accept herself and to trust. I also love her hot men and her relationship with each one. This is truly an enjoyable series. This series must be read in order, otherwise it is hard to understand the purpose of the characters in the book along with how/why the plot develops.

Loved it!

I can't get enough of this series. The GMC is badass. She bows to no one and it is refreshing to see a female character who doesn't need saving but also doesn't let her power go to her head. Add a splash of yummy rh, dragons, and lots of action and you have this series that has me begging for more.

This installment allowed us more depth into the growth of Rory. She and her men live, fight and learn from their trials as they grow more into their characters and their roles.
