A great book from start to finish. If anyone enjoys fantasy, history, and witches then I’d recommend this book! It contains some darker themes so I’d suggest it isn’t suitable for younger readers.

Great story!

Fall from Grace has a little bit of everything: historical fiction, fantasy, romance, and drama. Also laced within its descriptive pages are references to bias and exclusivity which are as relevant now as they were in the days of King Henry’s court. This is an intricate tale with many layers and I look forward to seeing what happens next!

4.5/5 stars. I finished reading this a couple of days ago, and overall, I really enjoyed it and found myself wanting to dive back into it. I thought that the story was extremely imaginative (a good blend of historical fiction and fantasy), and there were lots of great twists and turns thrown in to keep the reader on their toes - there were definitely lots of twists that I didn’t see coming, and were cleverly worked into the plot. If you love an action-packed fantasy novel that will keep you guessing, then this is definitely for you!

On the downside, because there is so much action and it is very fast-paced, I found some of the characters less developed, and at times I wanted to feel the emotional effects of events on these characters a bit more, but couldn’t due to the fast-pacing...I am thinking that perhaps sometimes this happens in the first of a fantasy series though, and so we might see more character development in the sequel...

What first attracted me to this book was the fact that it was set during the Tudor era. The book turned out to be different than I thought it would be. I thought we would see the Tudor's more, but I did like where it went.

This book made me feel all kinds of emotions. Grace the main character has led such a harsh life and when she finally found a place where she belonged and someone to love it was all snatched from her.

The ending was a bit of a surprise. I am curious to see what happens in the next book. I did enjoy the bonus chapters in the back of the book and think it would have been interesting to get more into J-Cubs mind because I still don't understand what changed in him. I hope we find that out in the next book. I am wondering if it has something to do with "The Dragon."

The book for the most part held my interest. It had a bit of a slow start. The beginning seemed to stretch on longer than necessary. There were also some grammar and spelling issues which for the most part didn't take away from the story much, but there were times where it did take me out of the scene because I had to reread something due to a mistake.

I am looking forward to the next book. If you enjoy books about magic and historical fiction then you will probably enjoy this book.
