For anyone new to the benefits of crystal healing and astrology, or for those who have been practicing for years, Crystal Zodiac breaks down their practical, easy-to-use applications, showing how they powerfully work together to prioritize personal growth and mindfulness in the day-to-day. Readers will learn which crystals to use for their zodiac signs and major planetary placements in their natal charts, how these placements critically impact different areas of their lives, and customized rituals to harness and utilize the energy of each sign.
By understanding the best crystals to use for their astrological profile, readers will become more attuned to their own—and others’—communication styles, emotional needs, and love languages, gaining all the tools they need to form or enrich a wellness routine that feels tailor-made for them.
i appreciate that the book talks about crystals as a tool rather than some unfathomable magic. it points out that astrology and crystals are merely mirrors and reflections of ourselves and our paths to self and improvement, and they can be tools for that journey. the book is also surprisingly informative, as it goes into detail about your natal birth chart, how that affects you and what crystals and life habits could help you with those aspects of your life. but interestingly, it also doesn’t limit you to your natal birth chart or your signs. in fact, it encourages you to explore all of the signs and to take lessons from each of them. there are rituals associated with crystals and mindfulness and wellness of which are put for every single zodiac, but it is open ended so anyone can use them as a way to empower themselves into channel specific types of goals and intentions that they want to put into their own lives. i think some people might get lost in the language and wording that most other books on the subject might have, but this book in particular focuses on the subject with objectivity while still acknowledging you as someone who isn’t tied down to a specific birth chart or zodiac, which i appreciate as well
This is the first book I've seen that melds crystal healing with astrology. Interestingly, I've recently been reading a book on Ayurvedic medicine and found precedent for this combination there. It starts off with some very basic information about astrology that would be useful to someone totally new to the subject, but already familiar to anyone who has read anything else about astrology.
This is followed by similarly basic information about crystals, but this veered into belief rather than practical instruction and I found it of little use. After a bit of woo, it got to the part I was looking for; segments on astrological placements and which stones would be useful for specific purposes.
It goes through each of the twelve signs, giving an overview followed by small segments about the significance of the Sun, Moon and Ascendant, assigning stones to each, then covers the "personal planets", Venus, Mercury and Mars. The book does not address the outer planets but explains how they are slow moving and tend to affect generations more than individuals.
It gives a few basic spells, mostly based on visualisation and covering basic things like love spells, communication and personal insight. While I found the information a bit light, I did see it as useful and would certainly recommend it to someone new to these subjects and of use to people wanting to expand work with crystals.
I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.
This is a fantastic book for people starting out using crystals and the zodiac combined together. This book explains the basics and explains how to interpret your own natal chart, what each sign consists of, chakras, and what crystals are best to use and support you based on your astrological sign. This is a beautifully put together book and will be very useful for learning about both astrology as well as crystals.
I guess libras can enhance their life with ametrine, white opal, agate, lapis lazuli, and quartz. I'm going to relax and let the crystals do all the work.
This book gives an interesting approach to combining astrology and crystals. It asserts that personal astrology gives us insight into our behaviors and patterns; while crystals then help to prompt us in acting on these insights by rooting our intentions in the physical world.
“The biggest benefit of using astrology and crystals in tandem is that they help you craft a more personalized approach to wellness, outlining mindfulness practices and self-care routines that are tailor made for you.”
This book then goes over the basics of astrology, what the 12 signs are, the elements, qualities, explains what a sun sign is, and covers the rest of the basics.
It also goes over crystal basics such as setting intentions with crystals, care & safety, storage, cleansing, charging, and use with the chakras. It finishes going more in-depth about your crystal zodiac. It explains how helpful the crystal zodiac is as it helps alleviate the headaches and second-guessing of what intentions and mindfulness practices to choose as it offers a clear guide for wellness practices and crystal healing based upon your personal astrology.
I found this an interesting, helpful, and different resource to add to my astrology, crystal, as well as mindfulness practice. Particularly because it offers the ability for me to choose my crystals and intentions easily by what is going on within my specific zodiac.
If you are looking to expand your practice or just need some help with direction, this book is definitely worth checking out.
Thanks to Netgalley, publisher and author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great little book if you don’t know much about astrology or crystals (but know enough to know your key placements) I was expecting a slightly more depth approach (moon phases/transits type stuff) hence the 3 stars, however I can think of many friends who would enjoy this intro.
Did I NEED another book on astrology or crystals? No. Did I hesitate when requesting this ARC from @netgalley ? Also, no 😏. Crystal Zodiac was intriguing because it combines astrology and crystals, which is something I never considered. In this book, readers learn how to interpret your natal chart, what a sun, moon, and rising sign is, and what crystals and mantras to support you based on your astrological sign. This was a fun read and a good beginner book for someone just getting into the basics of astrology or crystals. If you’re looking for a more in depth read on astrology or crystals, I’d suggest The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need and The Crystal Bible.
Reading horoscopes are not my thing, but I love learning anything that can tell me more about my personality and areas I can improve. I know some people are turned off by astrology because they don’t feel connected to their sun sign. This was never an issue for me because I am a Virgo through and through, but I have found that learning about my sun, moon and rising signs provided a more comprehensive look into my personality, strengths and areas to improve.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my digital copy in exchange for an honest review.
I requested this book because lately I have been thinking about looking into the whole crystal thing and I have never seen one that combined astrology WITH crystals. This book combines a lot of information into one handy little book with beautiful pictures. It goes on to explain the basics of crystals, chakras, and zodiac and how they are actually entertwined...it talks about how to interpret your own natal chart and which crystals would work best for your sun, moon, and rising sign... I actually really enjoyed learning about how certain crystals worked best for certain times and certain signs...and, for once, a book actually made me look into what my own moon sign and natal chart consisted of. I don't necessarily agree with what my moon sign says about me but oh well...The pictures of the crystals were amazing...and now I want to go to a gem show or something...I am much more interested in crystals after reading the book.
This is a nice little book for someone who's just starting out with astrology and crystals. Each sign talks about a crystal associated with the sun, moon and rising placements of the zodiac. It tells you the element, stone, what to use it for, colour, chakra associated with, mantra and ritual. Then it gives you very brief insight into the personal planets mercury, venus and mars.
The book is very basic, it's a good start for someone with little to no knowledge, but seems to be lacking for those who have a wider knowledge base. i would have like to see more crystals associated with each sign and a bit more detail about each zodiac placement. It would have been nice also to add topics like finances and self-care.
I'd like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Love this approach to mindfulness, though, unsurprisingly, I didn't find the reason I don't get on with some stones. And as long as you go in with the idea you're linking up mindfulness with the basics of crystals and astrology, this is a great book. It's *not* going to change your life, not really. But it will give you some new tips, and I laughed in a couple of places at some of the descriptions. A really good read, if you're looking for something to switch into your mindfulness routine and add to your toolbox. I'll be honest, the long-term practice of mindfulness and meditation can get 'samey', so, finding new things that I enjoy is cool.
I wish to thank Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ebook in return for an honest review.
This is one of the easiest and most most comprehensible books on crystals I have read in a long time. Easy to understand and use. It has the knowledge needed for learning what crystals are used for certain sun signs. The astrological signs for crystal healing are all represented. This book is for the most experienced person and also for those who are new to this. I learned so much and would recommend it for anyone interested in crystals.. I received this book from Net Galley and the publisher for a honest review.
This book breaks down the benefits between the link of crystal healing and astrology in an easy-to-use applications and how both crystals and astrology can work together to create a powerful balance and personal growth in your life. The books goes on about which crystals to use for their zodiac signs and major planetary placements in their natal charts, how these placements critically impact different areas of their lives, and customized rituals to harness and utilize the energy of each sign.
I really like that this book combined astrology and crystals. We are shown crystals to use for our sun, moon, and rising signs. I gound this book to be somewhat basic but still lovey. I eould recommend it to any crystal or astrology enthusiast.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
This book is super insightful. I have read several books on crystal and have even collected my own info and still learned so much from this book. I love the deeper insight it provided into both astrology and crystals. I learned more about additional astrological aspects and their corresponding crystals making it very personalized but still universal. It is very insightful and helpful.
I really enjoyed Crystal Zodiac but i was more flipping through to sections that apply to my specific zodiac sign. There were good suggestions on how to incorporate crystals specific to someone's sign. As well as knowing good crystals to gift friends and family for their sign.
By now we’ve proven crystals hold a magic power, but to what extent I don’t think we quite know yet. Pairing crystals with the zodiac signs is genius and something I never thought of. by harnessing the energy, who knows what vibrations and frequency you’ll emit!
It brings in a few crystals if wanting to bring in crystals with the zodiac or the other way around. Talks about the elements - as in relation to the signs, qualities, and a few other topics then into the zodiac signs and talks about them with at least three crystals per sign. A nice book overall.
I’m such a lover of crystals and the Zodiac. This is great for people wanting to delve more into both, as well as anyone wanting to strengthen their mindfulness practices and wellness. I have some crystals to buy!
Had to do a natal chart to find out my rising and moon signs and really enjoyed finding stones to work with them in this book. Loved the way it's set up and the photos and type of info given. I will definitely keep coming back to this.
I enjoyed this book about crystals because it incorporated your astrological sign. It also wasn’t your typical crystals used and gave me some good ideas. Thank you to netgalley for the arc!
A good book with good information. Beautiful pictures of the crystals, the only downside being there's some problems with the digital version and some art.
I found it useful to learn on the crystal's uses and mantras but there could have been more affirmations/intentions so that people who are new to crystals like myself arent lost.
Crystal Zodiac is personalized gem work by zodiac sign for self-care. The author explains what astrology is and crystal basics. There are beautiful pictures and excellent explanations. absolutely love that the author stresses safety and explains that not all stones can be used in water. Even including that sage has been over-harvested which is oftentimes not included in stone books. There are so many ways to cleanse stones, I love that the author points out that maybe sage should be left for Natives to use in sacred rituals instead of smudging stones. The signs and the stones work well together and are a perfect match for the traits included in this book.
