I love most of the books in this series by Dee Brestin, and this one was good, as well. It's a look through Proverbs, with Ms. Brestin bringing out some things I had not thought of before, as always. I also liked the question in each chapter that asked which Proverbs stand out to me in this time in my life? Reading back over those, seeing how God has worked in my life, and how I am learning and growing in response can be an encouragement. This devotional is meant to be a group study, but I've done it alone.

This was a very good bible study. The book of Proverbs is studied as it realtes to women. A dozen women of the bible, good and bad were looked at. I found the word "prudence" to mean something positive. Learning to be diligent, prudent and discreet are areas I intend to work on.
