I found this book randomly, but I loved the premise. I read it all in one day, unable to put it down because I couldn't wait to find out what happened. Zeke is such a good guy, but he struggles because he's not out or being open about his life. He doesn't think he's good, but Micah sees right through him - in a very good way.

This story is so heartwarming in how these two try so hard to be there for each other, though they live so far apart. The ending is heartbreaking to me, though, because no one should have to go through what they did.

Their love story is beautiful and extremely well written. I can't wait to see what else this author writes (I've already downloaded the other book I found from them). Thank you to the author for this real story - not everything has a happy ending and I'm gratified in how you ended this story. It was real and heart wrenching. Beautiful story - totally recommend.

A Good Romance

Zeke left Tennessee and his family behind five years sgo to attend college in Ohio. He keeps his home visits to three a year for reasons he's yet to tell his family. 1-he's the only agnostic in a Christian family; 2-he REALLY doesn't want to work for his dad & eventually take over the business & 3-on yeah, he's gay.

He travels home during spring break in his Masters program to listen to his dad ask him why he won't come to work in the family business and his mom ask who's he's dating or if he's engaged yet.

He finds his younger brother's (Jacob) best friend Micah living with his family. Micah's mom died years ago. Micah's dad remarried & when his dad passes his step-mom kicks him out of the only home he's ever know.

Zeke, who's never had a committed relationship, is taken aback by the man Micah has grown into. Near the end of his home visit Micah confessed he's been infatuated with Zeke since Zeke was 12 & Micah was 7.

And so it begins,...

Sooo good!

Zeke was real. He had real reservations. His thought processes weren't insta love but in the end it was real. Micah was so cute and a bit naive and that counter balanced Zeke. You can tell they may have problems down the road like real couples but you leave them having faith they will work it out. Thank you author!

This book was absolutely FABULOUS, one of the best I’ve read this year! The ending just ripped my heart right out of my chest in the BEST way. I cried. Omg. Run and read this.
