The world is awake – vampires, witches, werewolves, and more are real and outed in the human community.

Ivy has been thrust into a position that she did not want. She is the Witch Elect and because of this it is down to her to attend the Council of Supernaturals who try to keep the humans from finding out too much about the magic that they now know lives in their world. Some have a rather more contradictory viewpoint of humanity however and seek to subjugate them, since they don't have powers and all that jazz. Ivy is bound to help but in trying to do so somehow opens a whole new can of worms that she definitely did not intend to. For seeking help brings about actions that have far reaching tremors. In a desperate bid she is matches to Elijah, the Alpha of the wolves, not someone that she ever thought she would be spending any amount of time with. He is known to be emotionless, distant and the wolves ideas of justice don't quite balance with hers. For his part Elijah is confused as to why, despite being a witch, which should make him feel very much less then friendly towards her, he cannot help but be captivated by Ivy. Maybe being thrown together means he can work it out of his system and he can them move on with his life, then again........

This story is chalked full of action, romance, and time travel! I loved Ivy and Elijah together! They started out as adversaries due to a long standing feud between witches and wolves. Though, they band together to stop an evil warlock from altering time and changing the future. This banding together causes a lot of adventures and perhaps some repressed feeling to come to light. Do they act on said feelings? Read and find out!
There is violence, murder, swearing, and steam in this story, so it's not for those that don't like that in a book.
Otherwise, it's a fun, pretty quick read (it's novella length, less than 200 pages) and I think most fans of paranormal romance/urban fantasy stories would enjoy this!.

Hexed and Dangerous is a fast paced, fun, magical adventure. Politics, prejudice, the lust for power and just plain attraction. Throw in some high stakes and let the mayhem begin. I thoroughly enjoyed the story although I don't know what to put in the review that wouldn't be too spoilery. Take my word for it and pick this up and then hang on for the ride!

Didn't finish. Two huge spelling mistakes in the beginning of the book. The author had rouge instead of rogue. I've never heard of rouge werewolves. I should have put the book down right then.
The characters were flat. Witches who wanted to mess with time travel-bad idea. Growly werewolves. Evil warlocks. I think the author hit every stereotype.

I loved this book and cannot wait to start reading the rest of the series. I was on the edge of my seat throughout with the tension, both sexual and action. I giggled at some of the ways Ivy had to try to ignore the tension.

This is a wonderful prequel to the Hexed in New Orleans series. It is suspenseful and gives a great introduction to Ivy, Elijah and the world. I enjoyed the world building and the fast pace of the story. Filled with mystery, magic and romance i am excited to read what is in store for this series.

If you like suspenseful books then read this one. So many twists and turns. It really makes you think hard about the butterfly effect.

This is a good start to a new series. The book is well written and the characters are interesting and complex. I liked the POV of the villain along with the hero’s characters, and I think that gives the reader a better sense of what’s going on, and the motivations of each person involved.
I will be looking out for the next one.
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.
1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

I enjoy a paranormal that is rich in many elements and beings as this one was. This author gives presents to you Ivy and Elijah whom take you into this world with their story. They are know in the world the paranormal groups which made it interesting even more so. Good thing for the council so you think but it is only for a minute then things start popping. These two catch your attention as their relationship develops too. The way it is written you become invested in them also. When the drama hits and builds you are slowly pulled and this one becomes a must know all tale.

This book was a great start to the Hexed in New Orleans series. Ivy the witch elect and Elijah an Alpha to the wolves are well created characters. The story line with their pairing wither saving or destroying the world makes you want to keep reading to know how things will end. I can't wait to see how this series progresses.

I loved this book. It has everything you could ask for. Great world building, an exciting plot and a beautiful love story. The author pulls you in and keeps your attention. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.
