I am a HUGE Flora Ferrari fan but this one didn't hit the mark for me. In no way was the story bad, it just wasn't what I'm used to by this author. Throughout most of the book, both MC's had doubts and I didn't feel either of them were 100% all in. Now, having said that, this story was more "realistic" in how they dealt with everything and less fantasy like. Maybe I'm just used to the H seeing, claiming, keeping and all else be damned in the other insta-love books by Ms. Ferrari. Still a good little Halloween read.

After her parent’s divorce, Zooey and her dad never really connected but when he invites her to his Halloween party, she goes. She meets Wes, her dad’s best friend and sparks fly. What will happen when her dad finds out? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. Great characters and an entertaining story. I liked it.

So freaking hot! Flora Ferrari has written another smoking hot read. Zooey reluctantly agrees to attend her dad's halloween weekend party. The party scene is so not Zooey's idea of fun but she hopes this will bring her and her dad closer. Wes is her dad's best friend and business party so he is obligated to be at the party. Its the last place he wants to be until he sees a beautiful girl across the room. Imagine his shock at learning she is his best friend's daughter. Wes cannot control the lustful thoughts he is having for Lawrence's daughter. Zooey has never wanted a man as much as she wants Wes. Will they allow the age difference and her dad to keep them apart? Hot Hot read guaranteed to make you blush!

A sweet, romantic, steamy, surpriceful, well written story with nice storyline and plot. I like the way the characters are portrait and how they develop in this story. FF never disappoints. This is also why she is one of my favourite authors. Amazing story with nice depth and the right amount of romance, twists, angst, drama and steam.
Blurb tells a lot so I will not comment on that. I like the passionate moments and the attraction between the characters. Absolutely well described and developed Hero and heroin.
A story that is captivating from start to finish and I can only recommend it to others.

I loved reading this shifter book. It has strong characters and was wonderfully written and the author is one of my favorites. I can not wait to see what is written next. I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves shifter books.

I really enjoy Flora's writing. She does a great job with details, especially during the usually private steamy times. This book was no exception. The May- December romance between Wes and Zooey is fun and hot with some twists and heartbreak but the results are fabulous.

The moment Wes laid eyes on Zooey, he knew he had to have her, but a stumbling block was put in his path, when he discovered she was his best friend’s daughter. However, even though they knew any sort of dalliance with each other will cause friction between them and Zooey’s dad, the sparks between them made it difficult for them to hold back. Unfortunately, everything blows up when they least expect it and brings about chaos.
This was a fascinating read, on how an older man looking to change his playboy ways, finds his dream girl and the love of his life is the most unexpected person. The story took me through a myriad of emotions and still left me wanting more. It was well worth my reading time.

Loved this one
Loved this. Wes and Zooey meet at the Hallowe’en party Wes and Lawrence his best friend who happens to be Zooey’s dad have put on. Well the Party is more Lawrence’s scene Wes doesn’t really like it even though that is what their business is around.
Zooey is at the party trying to reconnect with her father and after he invited her she thought she better come even though it’s not really her thing.
Wes sees Zooey and knows that she is the one for him but doesn’t know she is Lawrence daughter this complicates things but he still wants her. After they connect together Zooey get cold feet about upsetting her father however Wes won’t let her go that easy and Zooey knows it will be more painful to let Wes go than reconnecting with her father and she is proved right when he kicks them out of his house after finding them together. Even though Zooey has sent her dad texts to let him know he will be a grandfather he doesn’t respond will she ever see him again?

It was very well written . I read the book in less than three hours. Characters were believable.Excellent discriptions of events, settings, feelings, and relationships boss , employee & best friend. Relations between daughter & her best friend and their relationship with her father. If you thinking of reading this book, it is well worth your.time.

I am not a fan of Halloween and this book is centered around it. In any case it was a good read. It shows us that not all parents are created equal and that sometimes you just have to move on without their blessing.

A FANTASTIC READ
I really loved this book. It had all the drama, Love and passion.
Zooey is at her dad's Halloween celebrational weekend. And if she is honest she would rather be anywhere else. Ever since her parents got a divorce she hasn't really spent much time with her dad and now that she is twenty-one and able to drink he invited her and her friend Poppy to enjoy the weekend. But even now her dad Lawrence is too busy to spend anytime with her. She would rather be in bed. But then she sees him. He is hot so sexy that she finds herself walking towards him.
Wesley is Lawrence's best friend and business partner. But when he spots the beautiful woman across the room he starts to have a warm feeling, not that he understands it. He starts to walk to her. And they agree to go somewhere quieter. Zooey takes him to her bedroom but before they can act on anything her dad walks in and is happy that they have found each other. His best friend and his daughter are getting on well. Wesley quickly retreats.
Now that they know who they each are will they act on this intense feeling or put a stop to everything out of respect to Lawrence??
This is a brilliant book that I couldn't put down. Its a great read of love at first sight. Its a beautiful book that gave me a warm feeling. Flora never disappoints in her books! This book was chalk full of suspense, angst, twists, romance, passion and family. It totally had it all, including amazing characters. Wes and Zooey were great together. Quiet confidence, determination, dedication, perseverance, and a solid history that helped you understand their actions/behaviors.
Wes was Lawrence's business partner, and he fell instantly for Zooey (who happened to be Lawrence's daughter). Great, the only woman he wants is the one he can't have.
Zooey, too, is drawn to Wes. She has been estranged from her father, but trying to fix the rift he caused by ignoring her from birth. She agreed to come to his party begrudgingly, but meeting Wes made it worth it.
They both knew their age difference would be an issue, and so would her father. That did not stop them from exploring their cjemistry. But suddenly Zooey ghosted him. He had to make sure she was okay.
There are lots of twists and angst to be had in this short book, and so much heartache. Would they ever get to be alone again? Would it cost them everything if they did? How would Lawrence react? Be prepaired for a great book. Though a bit slow initially, it quickly picks up speed, and never slows down!

Her father however isn't inviting her so that they can spend time together he is having her their to meet the companies clients. Wes has never been one for the parties that is why he has allowed his business partner Lawrence to handle that aspect. When he tells him that he really wants him to meet his it is not the woman he thinks he is looking for. He has already found her across the party or at least that is where he saw her last. What happens when these two find out they have one person in common that they don't really want to? Will they find their HEA or will Lawrence stand between them both forever?

Zooey has been trying to get closer to her father who she really doesn’t know as well as she should, but not because she doesn’t want to, her father just never tried to know her. He invites her to his Halloween weekend party he throws every year. She thinks he will make an effort, but he basically ignores her, she hates going to parties, but tries for her dad. She sees a gorgeous older man across the room and is drawn to him.
Her dad’s best friend and business partner Wes hates attending these parties and just wants to leave. But he spots a girl across the room and is drawn to her. Suddenly he finds himself walking towards her. They meet up and feel the lustful attraction and go somewhere quiet and private.
Wes finds out Zooey is a virgin and is honoured to be her first. They enjoy their steamy relationship until Lawrence, Zooey’s dad discovers them in bed. There is a big fight and they part ways with Lawrence.
Nearly a year later, Wes decides to contact Lawrence to see if he wants to be a part of his daughters life and grandchild. They reconcile and they all have their happily ever after.

Zoey is trying to reconnect with her dad and it just so happens that he is throwing a major Halloween Bash for friends and his business. She doesn't even want to go but her friend does so she agrees to join the party. Its boring until she spots a sexy older man watching her from across the room. Wes is stunned by the beauty across the room however he worries that his buddy is with her when he catches them talking together. When he finally get his chance to get her alone he goes for it. After talking for a few minutes they end up in her room only to be interrupted by her father before they could do anything. Wes isn't about to give up on claiming his woman will Zoey give he a chance? What will her father say to them being together?
This is a steamy hot story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is the latest offering in A Man Who Knows What He Wants series and like all the rest it is a instalust fun romance about an older alpha male and the shy young woman who is meant for him
This is Zooey and Wes's story. Zooey has never felt like her father really wanted her she has always been an inconvenience to him he hsn't had much to do with her since he divorced her mother but now he is making an effort to get more involved in her life and he has invited her to his Halloween party the main problem with that he is spending more time socialising than getting to know his daughter. That is OK it gives Zoeey time to ogle the hot man sitting in the corner. Wes really doesn't want to be at his business partners part that is until he sees the most stunning woman he has ever seen and once he sees her he knows she will be his forever only problem she is his partners daughter. One hottie older man and the younger woman that wants him.........So this was a free ARC from one of my favorite authors to read for and booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this read and mmm, mmm it was soooo sizzling hoooot! I couldn't put it down til I finished it , it was that great a read(at least for me) and hopefully for you to.I so enjoy reading this authors work because I know that it's going to be sizzling hoooot. And it was !!! Has a great storyline about a young woman that falls for her dad's older best friend, that is sooo freaking hooot.The more time she she's with him she's wants him and he really wants her to.Also has great characters to read about.And like I said before , its sooo freaking hooot!!! So I hope you all really enjoy it to!

Zooey never really felt like she had a place in her dad’s life after her mom and dad got a divorce. She feels like she is just out of the loop when it comes to her father. But it looks like he is trying he wants to be a bigger part of her life, so he invites her to a Halloween party at his house. Wes her fathers friend is also at the party and meeting his for the first time she can’t deny he is hot, and that she wouldn’t mind hanging out with him more, even if he is twenty something years older then her. Zooey can’t deny what she is starting to feel for him, especially since every time she goes to hang out with her dad, Wes seems to be around.

A quick steamy read. This is a story about a younger woman Zooey and Wes a older male who happens to be her father's best friend and business partner. They first meet at a Halloween Party that is being put on by her father and Wes for their company. She has just reconnected with her father and he asks her to come to his annual Halloween Party. She didn't really want to go but she is now glad that she did. Wes takes one look at Zooey across the room not knowing she is the daughter of his best friend and business partner. He is attracted and wants her. Once they find out, he still wants her but what will her dad say? A enjoyable read just before bed.
