Femi Oyebode is a retired professor and head of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Birmingham. He has investigated the relationships between literature and psychiatry. His research has considered descriptive psychopathology and delusional misidentification syndrome. He was awarded the 2016 Royal College of Psychiatrists lifetime achievement award.

Continuum balance from sane to pathological.
More than DSM, less than good old time descriptive pathology.

This is geared more towards people that work in the area of psychiatry but I wanted to read the sections of the book around the mind and pain but as I can't just read part of the book I read the whole thing. A lot of the content was too complicated for me however.
