Why did this take me so long to read, I have no idea. Always a fan of Ms. Blake, this is another deliciously deviant despoiling of an innocent. Archer is a Lord of the Realm. He experiences ennui as he suffers through jaded mistresses. Even his darker desires are falling flat when played out with his actress mistress. When he catches a peeping tom during his sexual interlude with his latest mistress, Archer comes up with a new idea.

Winnie is like little orphan Annie, except the "Daddy" who takes her in wants something totally different. Specifically, Winnie no longer needs to slave over clothing and sewing by candle light. Instead, she is to be treated like a little girl by a rich Daddy. She is given clothing and food she's never had before and they are extravagant luxuries. But the price she pays may be too steep for her.

I really enjoyed the sexual shenanigans in this book. The enema, anal training, diaper play and wet nurse were all delightful. The spanking were not frequent or long enough. Well, there were several episodes of spankings, just not enough to satisfy my hunger. I liked how Winnie was taken to task. The story is just graphic enough with the sexual scenes and yet seemed too short. I enjoyed Winnie's innocence stripped away. Archer's demands were straightforward. From a character perspective, the development is light. The plot was a bit thin. It is the ageplay and the fetishes that really carry the book. This book is recommended to kinky readers who enjoy ageplay including a strict nanny, wet nurse and disciplining Daddy.

3.5 rounded to 4 stars of delicious, dubious-consenting fun. Zoe Blake has a way of stealing my fantasies and putting them in books so how can't I thoroughly enjoy having them told back to me? lol.

While there wasn't too much new with this book (as compared to her other books), I still loved reading about a girl being pushed to her limits by a strong, dommie guy. The humiliation aspects were off the charts! The sex sizzled! And it scored high on the kink-o-meter! This is a winning formula for Blake's books and I will always look forward to her next installment. The book ended rather abruptly or I would have rated it higher. (As a side note...my Hubby loves Zoe Blake's books too and they have inspired many fun fantasy play dates for us. Smile.)

Too short. By the time it really gets going you only have the chance for a couple of scenes and those are not lengthy at all nor overly descriptive. I usually love this author's work - she's much darker a writer than others where sweet age-play is the norm (not my favorite) so I always buy her books. This one was just ok - but lacked the "feelz" of her other books that feature more in depth scenes and exciting action.

This is the second book I read by this author, the first being the submission of little Emmie. Unlike the first book in Pain Princess the h received an adequate amount of preparation & had an understanding of what her role was in the H life. Consent was clearly obtained & I felt h's life style choice was believable. I continue to dislike diapers but found this story more palatable. Well written with very few errors. 2.5 stars

ADULT PLAYLAND

I always know when I see the name Zoe Blake that it is going to be an amazing story. Young Winnie was orphaned when she was thirteen and has been working for Madame Minerva as a seamstress. Lord Archerly, better known as Archer to his friends, catches Winnie hiding in Lenora, his mistress’, dressing room, and not only that she has tried on one of the gowns. He uses coercion to get what he wants, and that is Winnie. Using her employer’s greed, he has her fashion child-like clothing and fairy princess costumes with Winnie as the model, and soon to be the recipient of the garments.

The plot of this sadomasochistic age-play story has a young girl, Winnie, who has been alone for too long, mesmerized by the handsome and overbearing Archer, who knows how to bend her to his will. Although she agrees to his terms, she is relatively naïve and in fact is an innocent, but not for long. The story takes the reader on the journey into this erotic fairy tale where Archer creates magical places for Papa and his Princess to play. Yes, there usually is a game, with a forfeit, and she will be his prize.

Age Play...and play they did, she really was is little princess, he would make this set of fairy tales in the big ball room for her and him to role play....wonderful..the wet nurse kind of threw me for a loop but the scene was short and it did not bother me....all in all great little read

Winnie has always been off in her own world of fairies, princesses, and fairy tales. The problem is that she has to live in the real world, and it's so much more drab than her dreams and fantasies. One day, when she has to deliver some dresses to the theater, she gets an eyeful of Archer and an actress. When he finds out who she is and where she works, he tracks her down because he has very definite tastes and Winnie is going to meet those tastes.

Zoe Blake's name means I'm going to one click, and I've never gone wrong once with doing that. I was definitely right to buy this one. It's dark, it's yummy, it's hot. Archer makes a very good Papa and Winnie and he have great chemistry together. I love how cherished and loved he makes Winnie feel, and he's willing to do everything he can to make her dreams and fantasies come true. He plays with her in all kinds of ways, and it's just sweet and romantic as hot as all get out. I love the worlds that Zoe Blake creates and the characters that she peoples them with.

I guess now I can safely say I went down a weird and kinky rabbit hole and yes I'm using the same source metaphor the author used in her books. Until like, four days ago I've never even heard of this and now I'm weidly uncomfortable and unwillingly curious and have this morbid need to read more about it and think to myself: Well, that's fucked up!
I don't even know what to say about the story itself except it is R-rAted, kinky, explicit and kind of sick.

Winnie got swept up in Archer's world in the blink of an eye. There are some stiff punishments but Winnie needs that extra edge apparently. On the plus side she is indulged enormously and has a much more enjoyable life than her previous existence as a needlewoman. Archer seemed to be jaded with life before he met Winnie, but once he did he had to have her innocence and submission. There are punishments but overall this is a lighthearted well written story.

Wow! This author has such a talent when it comes to writing age play. This is a harsh age play story, but oh my, it is so very good! The adults are consenting and boundaries are pushed, but the relationship that grows between Archer and Winnie fulfills both of their needs, makes them both exceedingly happy, and is just plain HOT. If you are looking for a sweet AP story with stuffed animals and lollipops, this is not it. This is more, much more! Very nicely done!!

If you like harsh discipline set in an age play story you will not be disappointed. I have read several of this author’s books and this book is very true to her previous books. I tend to like stories that have more of a romance feel to them so this book will not be one of my favorites, but I was entertained while reading it. The title is very appropriate because the books definitely favors the S/M aspect of a relationship and the two main characters are perfectly suited to each other.

Zoe Blake is my favorite age-play author. She knows to combine alpha males and their little girls with a lot of creativity. Winnie is a lonely and modest girl working behind the curtains of a play when she ends up meeting the dominating Archer. Once he sets his eyes on her he is determined to have her as his little and gives her all the magical places that she wishes. Of course she pays the price with a very sore bottom!

Zoe Blake always seems to hit the mark when it comes to age play. However, if you are looking for rainbows and lollipops this story is not for you. This is a dark age play story about dark passions, punishment, pleasure, pain, power and possession. Very harsh punishments and dubious consent. A very captivating read and highly entertaining. If you want to head over to the dark side then this may be the book for you.

If you enjoy stories of AP and strict papas, this is one for you! Winnie is caught spying on Archer as he dominates an actress and is promised a punishment. What follows is Winnie's journey into age regression with harsh punishments and fairytale play as she becomes his little princess. What a ride!

This writer has wrote good books in the past and this one is no exception. It is a well written and fast-paced with some twists. The description/preview is spot on. Anyone who loves to read about age-play with a lot of discipline will enjoy this book.

This book has a harsh disciplinarian that offers great pleasure for willingness to subject herself to being treated to a child, if you don't like age-play this won't be for you. However, it was an interesting and steamy read. Nice, before bed reading.

I've read all the books in this series, not necessarily in order. This was my least fav of the bunch, I stopped reading it after the first two chapters. The story really is no different than it's predecessors and therefore it was boring, repetitive and lack imagination. D
