This is a well-written book with lovely illustrations that is a great introduction for kids to offer cultures, and is a delight for parents to read to them. You'll want to let them know things have changed in a hundred years, but it's still really worthwhile. Our favorite part was the folk tales, which my son loved to narrate. (read for Form 1B geography, 2023-24 school year)

A little dated, but overall a nice book about children from many different countries. The tone was respectful of differences and my kids really enjoyed learning about the children.

Wonderful stories, although outdated. The sentences are short and choppy, but the book is very engaging.
