About the author

Leighton Greene has been writing stories since she was old enough to hold a pencil. Her first book was a choose-your-own-adventure style book about deciding what to eat for breakfast. It didn't shake the New York Times bestseller list, but she still has a copy of it.

After spending some time writing in academia, fanfiction and corporate reporting, Leighton decided she should probably do what she actually wanted to do, which was to write commercial fiction. So she did. She writes gay romance and, when the mood strikes, erotica as L.J. Greene.

Leighton lives with her partner and her cockatiel on the east coast of Australia.

I’m digging this series even though the writing is still totally distracting. It keeps me feeling distant from the characters and yet I’m loving the feelings I’m getting between them. Weird, I know. But I can’t seem to stop reading.

Again, editing needs improvement, stop using British English if you're setting your story in the US, it's pretty easy to find out we don't call counters benches. Again though I do really like Ben and Xander and I'm curious to see how their relationship plays out.

Dared by Him takes the stakes higher, with Ben pushing for more in his relationship with Xander. As both men are confronted with their pasts and insecurities, the tension grows. This installment balances emotional growth and deepening trust while keeping the steam factor high. However, some of the twists feel a bit predictable, and the character development could benefit from more complexity. Still, it’s an engaging read for fans of BDSM and kink exploration.

Dared by Him, Rough Love book Three by Lieghton Greene. Another great, hot short m/m story. So far these stories didn’t really end like a cliffhanger, but this one did. I’m not a big fan of cliffhangers. I’m still enjoying the storyline and the characters. I’m a little worried about the knife. Maybe we will see in the next book.
