This was a decent collection of Albert Tam's SF short stories, with some republished here from older, out of print publications. The two stand out stories were the title story and 《斷章》. The critique of consumerism in 《免費之城焦慮症》 wasn't wildly original, but I enjoyed reading it. Who doesn't love a creepy (rogue?) AI, especially in today's world? The blend of nuclear war, bioengineering, and classical Wuxia tropes in 《斷章》made it a stand out in my opinion. Tam is one of the leading contemporary SF authors in HK and this is a solid overview of his style and concerns. I would recommend.
