Eight bestselling authors have come together to bring you a collection of short Christmas stories. Breakout the egg nog and mistletoe and get cozy with these knotty alphas, sexy omegas and their adorable babies.
Lorelei M. Hart is the cowriting team of USA Today Bestselling Authors Kate Richards and Ever Coming. Friends for years, the duo decided to come together and write one of their favorite guilty pleasures: Mpreg.
This was a very cute anthology and I'll definitely be checking out the other holidays (especially Halloween). My favorite story was Their Blue-Eyed Boy.
Baked with Love by Harper B. Cole and Colbie Dunbar Pretty cute. I liked that Milo and Archer had been thinking of each other during their time apart and I thought it was really sweet that Milo kept trying to recreate Archer's scent through his cookies. This story reminded me that I never finished reading the Cafe Om series. I need to get back to it.
Peppermint Kisses by Kiska Gray Oh my heart. These guys both thought they were unworthy of love. Mackenzie because of his infertility and Nathaniel because he was pregnant by an unknown Alpha. Set up on a blind date, they hit it off and fall for each other but take a while to reveal their secret to each other. A cute story with a really sweet ending.
A Very Good Knight by Colbie Dunbar My favorite so far. I love a really well written historical romance. This one had a strong omega (King Richard), a dashing alpha (Sir Conrad), an unconventional mating, some castle intrigue, a sleazy villain and some delicious naughtiness. I just wish it would have been a little longer. I really wanted to see Richard take back his throne.
The Alpha's Christmas Elf by Jena Wade When I started this one I got really excited...Daddy/boy AND brother's best friend...yes, please. It started off great but the I Love Yous came a little too quickly for me and I was hoping for more of the Daddy/boy dynamic between Finn and Bentley. It was still really good just left me wanting more.
The Omega's Christmas Kiss by Leyla Hunt I liked the beginning with Pierce trying to comfort his little brother. I love close families. And the meet-cute with Avery was really funny. I liked the story but felt like there was more focus on Pierce's family's reaction to their relationship than on the actual relationship.
Their Blue-Eyed Boy by Aria Grace My new favorite. Absolutely adorable. I loved the sweetness between Mika and Jamie and their baby girl. I was a little confused about where the story was going but loved that Ford helped them become a family. The gift ornament added a little touch of magic to this beautiful story. Definitely teared up with this one.
Christmas at Animals by Lorelei M. Hart Another really cute story. Ben wasn't your average Elf and Hermey was a bear with his own mind. I love how they both had very definite goals for their lives and were able to make their dreams come true. I'm a sucker for fated mates so that was an added bonus for sure.
3.5 stars It was great to read that Milo didn't have any ONS after that night with Archer, but I don't know about Archer.
Story #2:
1 star Since the alpha was sterile, I thought the omega should be pregnant at that point, and I'm right: the omega was already pregnant but in the worst scenario imaginable. He was a manwhore omega; he had ONS with a stranger in a strip club. Since he wasn't drunk, he was in a clear mind to have sex without protection with a stranger, but when he was having sex with the alpha, the MC, he did use protection, an alpha who was courting him. I don't understand the Omega's logic.
Story #3:
3 stars Even though the king and the commander got together and had a child, the story didn't end in quite a happy ending. The king was betrayed by his advisor, who took his castle and threw him off the throne.
Story #4:
5 stars A daddy/boy dynamic with an age gap—I love it, plus the omega was a virgin.
Story #5
3.5 stars It was okay.
Story #6
2 stars I felt so disconnected with this story, and I think there was more to this, like a prologue. The alpha and the omega were a happy married couple, and they have a daughter, but the daughter wasn't the alpha biological's child since the alpha wasn't fertile. The daughter was from the omega and an alpha who was a ghost apparently. The alpha ghost made an appearance and was involved in a threesome with the married couple, but he was fucking the alpha husband, not the omega, and later on, the omega was pregnant again, and I think by the alpha ghost, not the husband. Story #7:
I don't read it.

What a wonderful compilation for stories! Such an eclectic mix of feel- goodness. I was pulled in to each of these stories. I wished they were longer, I didn't want to say good- bye. Some characters we have met before, and this was a great follow- up. I like visiting with old friends. I loved this book! I will not review each story. I could not review without spoilers galore. I will tell you that there are strong omegas, protective alphas, unexpected matings, intriguing characters, loyal friends, meddling family, and steamy sex. Oh, did I mention mpreg and adorable babies? Each of these stories is unique. You will be enchanted by Christmas cuteness and magic. From contemporary to historical to mystical, you will fall in love with this book. This is a must read anthology. Get. It. Now. You will be glad you did. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Okay... some of these were okay and some were.... not. My main takeaway was after reading Lorelei Hart's Christmas at Animals. My thought:
What EYE want is the story of how a beta-male bear met his omega-male bear, and the their alpha-male bear... and then their beta-human female.
GIMME!!!
Seriously, please. Someone write this PLEASE?!? And for the love of God make it good. No simpering female being worshiped by ridiculous alpha slave gods. No. She's a beta. She's a valuable character and partner in their lives. Shucks, maybe they meet her before the alpha.... Beta-male, then omega-male, then beta-female, the two betas doing their damndest to care for and pamper their omega,Then their alpha-male. Ungh I would read the crap out of this.
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
A collection from the Omegaverse that made me want to cry on some of the stories. There are stories that will warm your heart and others that will make you wish you were one of the characters. This Christmas collection of shifters and the paranormal is done by various authors and is worth reading.
This was a fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, engaging, poignant, sweet, smexy, tug on the heartstrings, lovely, beautiful, lovely, amazing, marvelous, delightful, charming, and totally awesome collection of holiday short stories by eight talented authors.
