Two hearts seeking a fresh start. One caring and nurturing small town.
Will Hailey and Quinn find their happily ever after in Connor’s Grove?
Hailey Summerville is in debt up to her eyeballs, unemployed, and homeless. She’s looking for a fresh start in tiny Connor’s Grove and maybe a romance she’s never had time for before.
Quinn Connor fled back to his hometown, injured in a car accident and disillusioned with big-city corporate law. His fiancée broke up with him, making him swear off women forever.
Through simple acts of kindness, the quirky people of Connor’s Grove show Hailey and Quinn what it means to belong in a community where people care about each other, know everyone’s business and believe in matchmaking. Theirs is a story about finding love and a new purpose in life.
Book 1 in the new Connor Brothers series. You can enjoy it as a stand-alone novel, but you’ll want to find out what happens next in this series of small-town, clean and wholesome romances.

Ladies and gentlemen I present you to... Plain Jane.
This was cute and sweet but completely bland. There was no plot except for her financial troubles and there was no character development for neither Quinn nor Hailey. His family was a cute family but I can feel the rest of the books of the series will be more or less the same, so I don't think I'll continue reading it.
I am a fan of small town romance but this one felt like it was missing some plot, some twist or just something.
Overall, I would say this was an enjoyable book. It's got that classic small town romance feel and I did like Hailey and Quinn together. Their relationship was cute and sweet. However, I did have a hard time connecting to some of the dialogue throughout the story. It didn't feel like it had a natural flow sometimes. It felt over the top and bubbly. Maybe that's just not my personality so it didn't resonate with me quite as much. There were also a few phrases such as "panty melting smile" that just struck me as odd. I know that for some people, that's probably no big deal. But to me, I wasn't a fan. I really don't mind reading about characters being attracted to each other, even physically, but really prefer it to be done in a different way. Panty melting just felt like it crossed my own personal line for a book I thought was going to be a "clean romance." Technically, it was clean in the fact that there were no graphic bedroom scenes.
Edit to my original review: So I actually heard back from the author who addressed the concerns over the "panty melting" phrase and she explained this has actually been addressed in an updated version. I think that's super dedication on her part. I will be keeping my eye out for book 2 in the series! I need to know what happens next for everyone!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hailey left her home broke, unemployed and homeless. She ended up in Connor's Grove and was desperate for a job. She ended up at Connor Construction. She knew she could do the job and she was desperate. If she didn't get the job, she was running out of options. Fortunately, fate was smiling on her and she was hired. On her first day on the job, she met her boss's handsome brother, Quinn, and there was an instant connection.
Quinn Connor had left a high powered law career in Minneapolis to return home to Connor's Grove to from a serious injury and a broken heart. While still in the hospital, his fiancé broke up with him because his recovery would be long and hard and she didn't want to deal with it. He decided to start his own law practice in the small town and found peace in that decision.
Quinn and Hailey had a sweet romance that developed from their friendship. The story was about healing, friendship, love and sweet romance. I enjoyed reading the story, although the tense used was a little awkward at times but the story was good.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
A sweet and classical small town romance. Hailey is broke after her mother’s death and she needs a fresh start in her life. She comes Tom Connor’s Grove searching for a job and a place to settle. Quinn is back in Connor’s Grove recovering from dis car accident. He doesn’t want to come back to his fast and luxurious life in the big city. Can these two souls help each other in finding love and happiness again?
Despite the fact that both the hero and heroine are at a crossroads in their lives, her because of homelessness and lack of money after her mother's expensive, fatal illness and him recovering from a bad auto accident (and his ex dumping him because of it), this is actually a light, humorous, and cheerful book. The humor particularly delighted me, as so many books claim to be funny, but this one actually was. At their meet-cute, there was an incident with her office chair, and that actually had me laughing because I had something similar happen with a chair I used. The hero and the heroine are both decent people who are trying for a better life in this small town outside of St. Paul; it’s his hometown but new to her. Connor’s Grove, the small town where the book takes place, has some delightful residents who are happy to help them out. The author was certainly able to convey a friendly small-town atmosphere well. The dialogue felt a little unnatural to me at times, and given the sweetness of the overall story, sometimes word choice was surprising. But I did enjoy following the developing romance between these two wounded but good-hearted souls.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
I had never read anything by this author, but this book was pure joy from the beginning to the end. Hailey Summerville is broke, unemployed and homeless…and in debt due to medical expenses incurred for her deceased mother’s cancer treatment. Living in her car in the Minnehaha Campground has been her only luck so far. Lawyer Quinn Connor is back home in Connor’s Grove after a car accident left him injured and scarred. His fiancée dumped him and he is still recovering from his injuries. Meeting Hailey, at his brother’s construction company, may just be what he needs to get on with his life. Ms. Busboom introduces us to a town that you would like to live in and a family that has your back. Snappy dialog (like Whos in Whoville – lol), genuine characters and a great story make this an engaging and thoroughly delightful read. I will definitely be on the lookout for book #2 in the series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
Sublime small town romance: This is a feel good story that is sure to touch your heart and leave a smile on your face. There is a perfect mix of drama, humour and romance. It drew me in from the very beginning and I felt an instant connection to the charming characters in this small town. I especially liked Hailey for her determination and grit in the face of difficulty and Quinn is tender-hearted and dreamy. The only thing it was quite short at only 187 pages and I would have loved to spend longer in Connor's Grove. I look forward to the next book in the series! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
This is such a special read! Sometimes you can tell from the very first page that this book is going to be one you’ll want to have in your library for keeps. Finding You has a terrific storyline; superb characters; just enough angst to keep you flipping those pages; and a simply beautiful HEA. Grab your copy today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!) ❤️❤️
I love the way Leah Busboom tells a story and did not hesitate to put my hand up for this ARC and, as usual, Leah did not disappoint. Hailey's story was quite sad, but she was still a fun person who didn't let her situation get her down, she was just what Quinn needed. Hailey & Quinn had me totally engrossed in their story.
What a nice small town romance! I loved all the quirky townspeople and the tender love that built between Hailey and Quinn! Hidden Gems provided a copy of Finding You, and I volunteered to review it honestly.
The story is super sweet and adorable. The kind of romance you see in a hallmark movie :). I loved it. It was sweet. There were no sex scenes at all, so if that’s your thing this may not be the book for you - but if your looking for a sweet story, with fun characters, then you’ll truly enjoy this read.
My heart broker for Hailey because she's at her rock bottom. Deciding to head to Connor's Grove is going to prove to be the best decision she will ever make. My favorite part of the book is the generosity of the community. They take Hailey under their wing and show her true unconditional kindness. It brings a huge smile on my face. Quinn is living a new normal after his accident. Hailey is going to bring a spark back he never thought he would find again. This is such a beautiful story. It has plenty of heart and feels, but it also has humor. If you want to get lost in a make you feel good story then I would recommend this one!
3-3.5 Stars - This was an okay poor girl, small-town, try to love again book. I struggled with relating to the characters as I couldn’t feel their emotions. I liked the storyline, but just not an amazing read for me.
This is a great, easy read. Hailey’s world was turned upside down after her mother died of cancer, her employer retired leaving her unemployed and her finances hit rock bottom when she acquired $185,000 in medical bill debt. She leaves the Twin Cities for a small town a girlfriend talked about in hopes of starting over. Quinn’s world was turned upside down when a car accident left him with life threatening injuries and his fiancé decided there might be better fish in the sea as a result. He leaves his prestigious job as a Junior Partner in a Twin Cities law firm to return home to his small town to recuperate and hopefully start his life over again. Can Hailey and Quinn find their new start together?
I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet romances. There is an added bonus of humor in the writing as well. The book is free of sex scenes and free of violence. There are a few curse words and some of the content is adult only in character. Therefore I would not recommend it for the young reader. If you enjoy a good Hallmark movie, you are sure to enjoy this book.
Finding You is a sweet story that brings to life the love story of Hailey and Quinn. I enjoyed the Connor family and how they took in Hailey, who was homeless, broke, and hungry.
Quinn is a guy that a mother would hope her daughter brought home. He is kind and has found his calling in life helping others rather than wealth and a corporate job. He is perfect for Hailey. He gives her the advice and help she needs while realizing that he is falling in love with her.
There is more to this story. While there is a happily-ever-after, a lot of story happens between points A and B. I enjoyed my time visiting the town of Connor's Grove and look forward to finishing the journey of the Connor family.
This story contains innuendo.

He’s a broken man and she’s just flat broke. They meet one another when they’re both at their lowest, and together they are given a second chance.
Since I’ve read so many books in the Connor Brothers series so far I know Quinn and Hailey’s story well, so as I was reading this novel I felt deja vu, like I had already read it before. I never realized just how invested I was in this series until I went back to the beginning.
I loved all the scenes with the Connor family. The closeness they share always gives me the warm fuzzies and the support they give one another is inspiring, and how every family should be. Seeing Quinn and Hailey together feels so incredibly natural, though I would’ve liked a little less predictability. The story went exactly where I thought it would go, and a little extra surprise would’ve been nice. I
Finding You sets up this series perfectly and since I’ve ready this series all out of order I suggest going in order, even though you can read them all as standalones.
This book lands in the 2.5-3 star range for me. It wasn’t a bad read and I appreciated how fast it was to get through. However, I didn’t connect to any one character the way I normally do with small town romances. All the characters felt very face-value and written to play a particular trope or role. The writing style was also somewhat novice and unrefined compared to authors with more experience, but I think that comes with time and more books under your belt. I definitely see this author’s potential and I may consider future novels, particularly if the characters have more soul to them, but I will be proceeding with caution. The characters and story here were just sort of boring, predictable, and didn’t light any sparks for me during my reading.
Overall, it was a quick okay read, but there was nothing about it that wowed me or that I predict will stick with me after today.
I was absolutely captivated by both Hailey’s and Quinn’s story. Hailey is such a strong, caring, sweet, hardworking and lonely young woman who recently lost her mom. Hailey’s life is turned upside down when the loan shark come demanding payments, just as she lost her mom and her job. Quinn’s life was turned upside down when he was in an accident, forever altering him. However, Quinn never expected that his journey back home would lead to his future. Quinn is an amazing caring, smart, sweet and handsome lawyer who wants to help others. Turning down a possible junior partnership after his ex-fiancé broke up with him, forcing him to head back home was the best decision he made. Both Quinn and Hailey have an instant connection and their story is simply adorable. I loved it!
I am excited to be reading the Conner Brother series. I am truly hoping for more story about these two character's in the other books! All in all, i loved it, to see such changes in the character's. Especially 2 character's who went through so much to live okay.
I would hate to rate this poorly as it seems like a first try book. This book is sweet and short. Not deep, no smut, just very surface level and quick. This would be a great book for someone just starting “reading for fun.” Cute story line. Would have loved to see how the book would have been at a full length, deep story.
This is a wonderful contemporary small town romance.bane lost her mom, her job , and her home. He was seriously injured in an accident so he went home to mend. That's where he found his soul mate, in his brothers office. A great sweet read!
The constant use of an incorrect period after Dr was irritating and showed that either the author, editor or someone failed to research the drink and its name. Many cute moments in the story yet Quin and Hailey seemed almost 2 dimensional. I will continue reading the series and hope no one else drinks Dr Pepper!
Such a sweet story! Hailey' story leaves you heart broken for her and you want to cheer her on. Perfect timing brings Quinn back home and the instant attraction is there!
I loved the of story line of Hailey and Quinn! I agreed with Quinn that having such extensive injuries in his car accident and bringing him back to Connor Grove was a blessing in disguise!
I loved the family who began this town. They were all such giving people. Small towns have a lot of giving to others. A lot of families do too. But one family stood out among the others
Starting over is never easy but often necessary. Hailey moves to a small town in Minnesota after her Mother passes away. Quinn moves back to his hometown after a horrible accident. It is the best thing to happen to them.
Such a great story. Love the “nothing to something” Hailey experienced. For Quinn, it took a life shakeup for him to realize what he really wants. Can’t wait to see how it turns out for Max and Jacob!
I really enjoy reading about all the many Connor family members. Hailey and Quinn have quite the chemistry and I really enjoyed their story. This is another sweet, clean romance.
