The pieces of me duo concludes. Unfortunately Lylas brother is no more but her story isn’t over. She’s been through so much. She’s escaped a poisonous marriage and is learning to live with her new circumstances. Now it’s time for her to find her happy ever after. If you don’t at first succeed try again. Life doesn’t always turn out how you’d like but if it works for you nothing else matters.

This book has adult themes and the series needs to be read in order. It’s available on KU. The book is told from multiple points of views.

This book is absolutely fantastic! A wonderful story of overcoming obstacles and finding love and making it work. Lyla has lost her brother, Lloyd, left the home she shared with his friends Ryan, Thom and Sam and gone back to her husband Francis who is now gotten more aggressive in his abuse. Through the intervention of her best friend Betty, the three men find themselves driving down to London to help Lyla get where she needs to be, back with them. She is pregnant and it turns out that the father is Ryan or Thom. She agrees to come back to her childhood home with them and they agree to start builiding a life together, all four of them with no jealousy or anger, just taking each day as it comes. Having a condition that makes it hard for her to maintain a pregnancy, Lyla struggles to accept that this one will last too. Dealing with trying to divorce Francis is hard on her and Ryan, Thom and Sam do whatever they can to ease her stress and help her get through everything. Francis agrees to the divorce and her demands as long as she gets a paternity test done. She agrees and they go through their days waiting and hoping for a positive outcome. Lyla starts to experience problems and soon she's admitted to the hospital to monitor her and the baby. Their baby ends up coming early and the three men do everything they can to make it easy for Lyla. When Christmas arrives, they are all at home with Naomi, their new daughter, and life is very good for all of them. They have a bit of an issue when Francis shows up thinking to cause issues with the results of the DNA test but none of them are bothered by it as none of them care who the father actually is as they all consider themselves to be her father. They get mixed reactions from Ryan, Thom and Sam's parents but with the love they have for each other, they are determined to be a family no matter what others think.

I have been honored enough by these authors to be able to beta read “Fulfillment”, the second book in their “Pieces of Me” series. This is the continuation of Lyla’s story. A story that packs a heck of a wallomp to the reader. Shae and ZL do NOT shy away from the hard stuff. Their books are not all roses and lollipops, and that’s one of the things I love about their co-authored books. The real, nitty, gritty, down and dirty, “this stuff happens in the real world so it should happen in the fictional world too”, hard stuff.

***TRIGGER WARNING*** This book deals with the emotions (or lack thereof) that can happen when a woman becomes pregnant when she has fertility issues. It deals with the grief cycle when you have lost a loved one (a sibling or a best friend in this case). It deals with coming to terms with your own sexuality. It deals with coming out of an abusive marriage.

Normally, I would say that if these things are a trigger for you, avoid this book. But I’m not going to say that for this book/series. I’m going to encourage you to pick this series up. Pick it up so you know you are not alone. The authors have used their own, and others they know, life experiences to craft this book for our reading pleasure.

Now, don’t get me wrong, there are still some shmexy scenes, and they are HOT, but this series doesn’t really focus on that part. They give you a bit of a break in the emotional sense. They bring a breath of fresh air to the story, that depending on your trigger, is needed. Watching Lyla come into her own will empower you, the reader, as well. And when you’re done reading the series, take a deep breath. Trust me, you will need it.

Loved it, great ending to Lyla and her men's story.

Ryan has all but shut down in the 2 weeks since Lyla left. He has shut Thom out, who has been trying to hold things together. Sam wants answers, closures, just needs to know she is OK, so he keeps calling.
Betty answer Sam's call and brings the three men and Lyla together. Lyla just wanted to protect them. When they learn the truth they convince her to come home.
Lyla takes charge of her life. She filed for divorce. She starts to build a relationship with Sam, beyond friendship. She repairs her relationships with Thom and Ryan. Ryan repairs his relationship with Thom.
The men are happy and excited about the baby. Lyla, has had so many losses, she remains detached. When she makes her second trimester, she slowly allows herself to believe. Her three men support her in every way they can.
Lyla's , soon to be ex, doesn't make things easy. Lyla is finding easier to stand up for herself and the.men she is falling in love with.
Lyla, Sam, Thom, and Ryan are becoming a true family. When Lyla has complications each man steps in and fills a need. By the time their little one arrives they have become a solid family. When her ex tries one last time to cause trouble they present a united front, shutting him down.
A sweet and steamy romantic drama. MF , MMF, MM romance. Great ending to their story.

Sam,Thom,Ryan fall hard for fallen brother in arms twin sister Lyla.Lyla is getting out of an emotionally abusive relationship. She gets close to her brothers friend as they all mourn his death. They are new to the reverse harem lifestyle.Thom an Ryan are together although Ryan still has trouble excepting that he loves Thom. When they fall for Lyla it seems to help him except that they can all be together then Lyla starts to get car to Sam .But then she disappears no goodbye no contact at all. When her friend texts back then calls say they should all come to her house an talk to Lyla. There are so many twists an turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and you can feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

I enjoyed reading this book, it follows on nicely from book one to finish the story. I love the chemistry between the characters and the m/m action not just f/m within the polygamous relationship. I also liked that the storyline was believable and even though it shows the horrors of domestic abuse, the story overall is empowering to survivors. Would recommend.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in this series. It is emotional and full of ups and downs. Lyla is lost and struggling with her life. The characters are well written and thought out. Once you start reading, you will not put it down until the end. I really enjoyed both books. If this is your genre, do not pass this book up.

Loved this book so much. I've read the first book and this was perfect. Her twinbrother died and she is devastated by his death. However his brothers by choice comfort her. The relationships develop at a natural pace and I love how all is coming together. This book is an emotional rollercoaster and it's so good!

This was a wonderful well written second book that I really liked. The characters where easy to follow and they all had to over come a lot in this story. I really liked how the story helped the characters to get through the ups and downs. But it's a good book to read.

What I love most about this series is that is was believable. It wasn't just an instant we are a happy harem there were bumps in the road and it did navigate the emotional aspects for the men. I do wish we got a little more of a peak into life with the baby and how the bonds between the characters formed but all in all amazing 2 book series. (Fingers crossed there might be a book 3 or novella)

Heartwarming!

This book was such a sweet end to Layla, Sam, Thom and Ryan’s story. I loved how their relationship developed and it was refreshing to not deal with a murderous ex or something. It’s the perfect rh love story!

There is so much darkness in this duet. There is loss (miscarriages and death), domestic abuse (emotional and physical), and blackmail. More than the darkness though, are the bonds of love - be it platonic, romantic, or the unconditional love of a dog - and friendship. As the relationship between Lyla and her men grows so does Bean.
