Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Biker Bully by Sam Cresent is not the typical Sam Cresent book I'm used to it was all a little to sweet for me.
It's an easy read to pass the time with.
It's about the bully (boy) trying and planning on humiliating the bullied (girl) but ending up falling for her then both getting humiliated 🙄 them coming together 5 years later and a few other trials and tribulations in between.
If sweet ,cheesy and easy (which we all need sometimes 😉) is what your looking for then I recommend this 📖

I was completely drawn into this book, practically finished it in one sitting.

Ok, Alfie is not an actual biker but a biker-to-be since his father is the local president MC but I found that this book delivered more than it promised.
The bullying part is there for a short while but what it stayed with me was when the lines started to blur as other feelings crept in.
Chloe and Alfie are such a pair I couldn't put the darn e-reader down. (Am I allowed to say darn? Hm...).

Also I enjoyed was that we saw Eagle and Lilly's story taking place, and I can't help but thinking that I'd love to read their book. Now that it comes to me they may already have their own but I haven't checked it out. I was so eager to write this review that it escaped my mind completely.

Will return for refund

This author....where to start? She’s hit and miss and this one was a miss. HOWEVER, before I launch into why I hated this book and why it’s getting returned for a full refund, I will say what I did like about it.

1. The heroine was a virgin, belonged only to the hero, hadn’t slimed around with losers. That alone would normally garner 4 stars for a contemporary romance

2. Both MCs were faithful during separation. I LOVED that the hero loved the heroine enough to keep it in his pants. That was refreshing and if it weren’t for other aspects of the book that failed, it might’ve made this one a 5 star.

3. The subplot of the MCs parents and their romance—it was wonderful that Lily and eagle were able to find love together and I especially loved the ending where they have children together. That part was lovely.

4. The hero, his transformation from douchey bully to devoted alpha hero, was exhilarating.

Now, with the good stuff out of the way, here’s why the book failed for me and why it’s going back:

1. Rambles endlessly In the beginning. It’s repetitive to the point where I wanted to scream, “you’ve mentioned this ten times already!!! Get a freakin editor!!” This writer takes perfectly good plots and she can ruin them by writing that is juvenile, endless grammar mistakes, and unnecessary filler that drags the story down.

2. The first portion of the book has all this build up, endless exposition on how the hero is trying to gain the trust of the heroine, get close to her and when we FINALLY, FINALLY, get to the point where the heroine trusts him enough to give him her innocence and body, what happens??

Zip, that’s what. The entire love scene is skipped over. That is the main reason this book flops for me and it’s going back, because while there are other sex scenes in the book, the MOST important one is their first time, and with that part completely missing, all the build up leading to that crescendo of intimacy and connection just fizzles out and the remaining portions feel “meh.”

I’m not paying $5 for such a poor effort and for a book that is a let down. If it had been cheaper I might have kept it, but it’s not worth $5.

Safety details: hero was a mansk@nk before heroine, but is faithful during separation so a “redeemed rake.” Heroine gives virginity to hero, belongs only to him and never gives her body to other men. No abuse or cheating of any kind. gross condom use in beginning portion of book before their separation, but none in the sex scenes after they’re reunited. HEA with epilogues years out.

falling in love with your bully

We meet Chloe and Alfie at 17/18 along with Alfie's friends they bully Chloe call her names, push her just bully things until she snaps and fights back one day, at this point Alfie has her and is interrupted by Lilly Chloe mom. Things heat up and not in a good way when Chloe mom has few words with Eagle the club prez who is Alfie dad and Kurt her jerkface soon to be ex-husband. After being chewed out by his pops he and the guys have a plan to get even.. but Chloe isn't buying the nice guy act when Alfie does a 180 and is now her friend, defending her and being a gentleman.. she keeps her guard up not believe a word he says but its hard to keep fighting since her mom and Alfie pops have history and are sorta seeing eachother.

But he scraps the plan when he starts falling for Chloe wanting her and keeping her as his woman, until something happens which has Chloe leaving the small town and never forgiving him.

Part B of the story is 5 years later

And the only reason Chloe comes back to town someone ran down her mother and with the help of Alfie and his dad her mom starts to heal but also Alfie is making sure Chloe knows he had nothing to do with the tape and make sure she knows he shall win her heart again no matter how long it takes... but they still have to find who ran down her mom.

140 is when part 2 happens 23 ages we also get some chapters of the parents..

Angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating, Secondary charas, Drama, sexy times, virgin gal in part A then no virgins not a manwhore (celebite for 5 years)

Recommend- yes/maybe

To be honest, the first part of the book was kind of hard for me to get through. The writing is awesome but the storyline with the bullying was tough. When the heroine finally stands up for herself after being bullied by the hero and his buddies, what starts out as revenge slowly turns into something he didn't expect. But when what they did is exposed to the whole town, it sends Chloe running away as school as soon school is out, and Alfie knows he has messed up big time. Years go by and when Chloe's mother is hurt by someone who is after her, she returns to town to take care of her and to a changed Alfie. Both have grown up but both still need to deal with issues from their past. Can Chloe come to understand how Alfie has changed? Can Alfie win back the only woman he ever loved? And will they catch who is trying to hurt Chloe's mom and anyone who loves her? This kept me turning the pages to find out just how far Alfie was willing to go to win her back and to see if he had truly changed. Several secondary characters were also there and I would love to see Ian and Riley get their stories told at some point!!! All in all, I really loved this latest book by Sam Crescent!

A nice read.

This is a full length YA/NA romance book about a bully and his bullied.
The story starts when Chloe and Alfie are both teenagers and he often picks at her, bullying her because he believes she thinks she is better than anyone else.
But the truth is that she is just shy and has trouble making friends.
For that misunderstanding, Alfie decides to "teach her a lesson", by getting closer to her, but planning to humiliate her later.
But as he got to know her better, he realizes that he was completely wrong and that not only she is an amazing girl, but she could be the love of his life as well.

It was intense seeing what she had to put up with in her teenage years, and when things go south between them and Alfie (even not being his fault completely), it was really sad.

Some years go by and they are kind of forced to spend time together, and this time he wont let her go without a fight.

It was entertaining and an okay read, but even though there were a lot of emotions, I felt they were confusing and even superficial, as I was having a hard time believing and relating to them.

But even though, I was wanting to see the end to see how they would work things out.

The book was amazing and the thing I wasn't fond of was how easily Chloe gave Alfie a chance. But he redeemed himself and the way he said sorry in front of the whole town has convinced me to forgive him.

Alfie used to be the asshole who bullied and hated her, saw her fat trashy girl, and wanted to take revenge on her but fell in love. Chole stood for herself. She is soft and kind but wasn't a doormat.

Alfie hasn't exactly bullied her but his friend did and he watched her suffering. Yet doesn't make him less asshole.

He was manwhore and she was a virgin. After taking her virginity something happened that broke her heart and she left him for five years even though he begged no to. Five years later he redeemed himself and apologized, the grovel was short but really good. He had too suffered five years apart from her and what happened also broke him.

Alfie was celibate for five years and there wasn't anyone since her. She goes on a date but nothing happens. She remains celibate too. He was a worshipping guy and with surprised Chloe a sweet perfect apology.

There's a little OWD with the women he slept with in the past(high school) and the OW was at the same school as them. OW mocks Chloe but Alfie threatens OW and she feels humiliated and leaves.

The epilogue was sweet and I loved that her mother Lily left her cheating dad and found her happiness with Alfie's dad Eagle.

The thing I mostly loved about this book was it made me cry and I wasn't angry at him. It was satisfying.

I have to say this. I hate third person books. I just can't connect with them no matter how many times I read them. This was a long romance story more than a biker story. It talked about two couples.

I think that this should have been two books, one dealing with Chloe and Alfie the younger h and H and one dealing with Eagle (Alfie's dad the older H) and Lily the older h and Chloe's mum) Both had good stories to tell but them being smashed into one just didn't work for me.

I've read several Sam Crescent books now and while this one was a little more mature and much longer than usual it suffered from many of the same problems this author has with his/her/their writing. Plot holes that make you go WTF, jumping scenes, and this one had some plot lines that were not necessary and just didn't work - Chloe's dad and his killing of the young mum - just bizarre. Also constant repetition of points and events ( got sick of the film clip episode) just drove me nuts.

But it had great characters and great hot sex scenes.
I still will read Sam's books.

Eh... Not a favorite of mine. I just couldn't fall for the unappealing 'Hero', Alfie. The name, the horrible way he treated the heroine, Chloe... not to mention the fact that I didn't buy him supposedly being in love with her or her being in love with him... It just didn't work for me.

Every book isn't for everyone, so on to the next read!

The couple: Alfie and Chloe

Romance trope: MC; bully
Length: 249 pages

Plot: Alfie is the son of the MC pres, and Chloe is the daughter of a hangaround that everyone calls a coward. Alfie and his friends bully Chloe but when his dad tells him to knock it off, they plan one final humiliation. Things don't quite go as planned though.

Commentary: I read this author for the angst, really. I always find the writing a little clunky and awkward.
I liked that we didn't see too much bullying - it wasn't long before Alfie had fallen for Chloe. I also liked the parallel of the parents' romance (and the fact that they got back together way before they told their kids). I also liked that Chloe got to go away and grow up a little while Alfie was being punished.

Grammar/formatting: The same awkward dialogue as usual.

I have to be clear on my rating. It’s 5 stars for a Sam Crescent book. If it would have been by another author, I would have went for a 3.5 or possibly 4 but I’m used to the mistakes and grammatical errors of this author and I have started to expect and overlook them. I really liked this one. It’s not what I’m used to from this author and I enjoyed it.

First things first.
1. I don’t think it’s safe and normal to date the guy that bullied you for years. I mean, if that happened at 10 and it’s been years since it happened, it could have been ok but since they’re what, 17? Well they’re both quite mature and no, I don’t accept it. He bullied the heroine just because and by bulling I mean, pushing her, writing on her locker, body shaming her, and since he and his two bitches of friends were the dominant guys, everyone at school bullied her. So, no, when he suddenly changed his mind she should never have fallen in love with him. Nope. He was a lil mean fucker, a coward, who bullied a girl with other two boys. And he wanted to slut shame her pretending to like her and having sex with her, recording her experience and showing her around. Who does that, it’s sick. The whole thing happens anyway, because someone films them and shows them at a fair, so the heroine leaves town.
2. The whole body shaming thing. I know this author writes about plus sized heroines and it’s ok, we’re not all one size, height and so on but it was really annoying, and it doesn’t explain why the hero who called her fat, whale and so on, could ever like her in just a few weeks. I mean, was it only for show? No, he and his friends really thought she was fat and unattractive so it makes no sense that he suddenly finds her beautiful. (I know I can turn out judgemental, but weight is NOT about looks but about health, even at a young age is a risk factor for many severe disorders as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases and risky pregnancies. I also know many eating disorders depends on mental issues, as depression, anxiety and so on. So when the heroines mother gives her hot chocolate and cakes because she’s sad even knowing she’s overweight she’s promoting a response that will push her daughter to drown her frustration and issues in food, it’s called binge eating. Just saying)
3. I liked that he was five years celibate when she left town, even if before her he had several girls, when he called her whale and fatass, and he liked skinny girls.
4. I also liked that her mother broke her engagement with the hero’s father because she couldn’t stand to have the lil fucker around. His dad threw him out of his MC and thrashed his bike. And never spoke to him for five year. Better late than never.
5. The heroine apologizing to the hero because she left him when the tape was released and when she found out he was actually planning to do it at the beginning, well that won’t do. She did what she had to do, leave a toxic environment and toxic people who hated her and for years made her life hell. The apologizing should have been all the hero’s .
6. I don’t like meanies. Boys who bully one girl is something so coward and vile I can never get over it. And since the heroines father was accused of being a coward, well, his father should have told his lil shitty son that he was a coward too.
The book was not my favorite plot, but the little fucker hero changed and became a better man through five years of real difficult life. The heroine was nice and sweet, her mother was the best and really supportive of her, except the sugar bombs she kept giving her to forget her pain.

*SLIGHT spoilers*

i honestly have some mixed feelings about this read and don’t really know how to rate it. i went into this hoping those $5 were worth it and in some moments, i really believed it was. overall, the book wasn’t a complete bomb and i’m glad it was entertaining and cheesy enough for me to sit through and enjoy it.

there are some things that deterred me a tiny bit, for one being the repetitiveness coming from both MCs. i often felt like the author was trying to remind the reader of Alfie’s feelings to emphasize the bully/angst of the story or maybe try and give some complexity to the main hero. however, it just got frustrating reading it over and over again that i just skipped through phrases similar to it as a whole.

similarly, while it’s understandable why the main heroine was so doubtful, there were points in part 2 where the constant back and forth of whether she wanted to pursue her relationship again with Alfie just seemed dragged out? i mean, she already agreed to move in with the guy and she still wasn’t confident in whether they would make it as a couple or if it was the correct thing to do. again, it might just be part of the author making them complex.

i honestly loved Chloe and Lily’s mother-daughter relationship and it made me so happy whenever Lily overwhelming put her daughter first before anything else. i’m not positive on my feelings for Eagle and Lily, although thank goodness she left Kurt’s sorry-ass! i guess i just didn’t love how Eagle isolated Alfie so much and treated him like someone to control rather than his own son, and he realized this UNTIL Lily which was sort of sad. they definitely had a tiny bit more chemistry than Alfie and Chloe.

anyway, i’m happy Eagle and Lily were happy and evidently wanted to see Alfie and Chloe happy together as well (despite being step-siblings now)

i do love how devoted Alfie was to Chloe, especially during the 5 year long distance between them. i was conflicted in some of the dialogue by the end because the heroine said some stuff that made it seem like she was forced to do the things she was doing when giving the hero a second chance and the hero was just so infatuated with keeping her he would do anything to make sure of that (🤰🏻)

despite it, i had my fun. the steamy scenes were steamy as hell and this cheesy little redemption/angsty romance entertained me enough to stay up until 12am!

eeekk i wanted to like this more! the Hero, Alfie was bullying our sweet heroine Chloe. but she isn’t as sweet as everyone thinks, this girl got a backbone. Alfie was then reprimanded by his father to stop bullying her in which he stops and begins to befriend Chloe. Chloe wanted nothing to do with him at first but they started being closer and dating and falling in love. it was cute enough but i didn’t LOoVVveEe them.

i felt like Alfie was a pretty weak character. when his friends and him was bullying Chloe (in the beginning) this weak man lied to his dad and said he didn’t do anything to her. like man up and accept your mistake. then when they were dating, somebody videotaped them having sex and put it on the big screen at the town carnival. Chloe thought this was Alfie’s doing (he didn’t do it) and so she had left town for 5 years. during this time, Alfie barely chased her down. i think they only thing he did was call her a few times. i need my Heroes to be STRONG and to take back their woman especially if he actually did no wrong. he was not the one that videotaped them or uploaded to the big screen. i just felt he did not fight strong enough for her but i really appreciated him being celibate 😝😝. Chloe came back to town 5 years later and fell right back into his arms. she melted like chocolate sitting in the car on a hot day 🍫 then they lived happily ever after.

btw, i loved Alfie’s dad. that man was so HAWTTT. so domineering but the sweetest guy ever to Chloe and her mom. it was quite weird that Chloe’s mom and Alfie’s dad ended up getting married, making them step-siblings lmfao! i would LOVEEEE a book about Chloe’s mom and Alfie’s dad thought bc Alfie’s dad wanted DECADES for Chloe’s mom. isn’t that the cutest thing in the entire world?!?!?🥰🥰

safety: no owd/omd, 5 year separation- both celibate

Immature and unprofessional and so mind numbingly boring! Droaning on and on and on with it's repetition of the same things. Awful! The writing, story and the characters are so immature. This is so badly written and boring in its immaturity and repetition that it's like an uneducated teenager wrote it. I just couldn't read it.

I had to skip ahead from only 20% to 50%, to see of it improved any after the immature high-school part was over. But the first page I read at 50%, which was five years after they left highschool, had the hero smiling at the idea of getting to call the heroine because he misses her, despite the fact that the reason he was calling her was to tell her that her mother had been seriously injured in hospital and was in a coma after being run over. Yeah, he smiles at that, it's extraordinarily stupid.

It's all so bad that I cringed. I cringed A Lot reading this! I gave up trying. If I could give this zero stars, I would. The writing and story were so extremely immature, so basic that this was an embaressment to read. Returning it for a full refund! It's not even worth wasting time reading if it was free. Absolutely badly written rubbish.

Bullying is not ok ..

Girl bullied by a guy who’s father is the president of a Motorcycle Club ..so the guy and his mates plan the ultimate shame for the girl, but first the guy has to get the girl to like him, but then during the process he realises what he’s doing is wrong, and his attitude towards the girl changes ..In part 2 ..I felt in this part of the story and after 5 years, her trust issues should’ve been already sorted and it was confusing when she wasn’t sure with the guy but still got intimate with him ..and the guy professing his love, nearly every page, proving his love nearly every page ..anyways It was still a good read

I really enjoyed this book, you kind of got 2 stories in 1 I’m also really glad that it wasn’t your typical MC read. The storyline was sweet, exciting, emotional at times and entertaining. Loved the characters. Obviously the main character male, Alfie was your typical a-hole alpha to begin with, but you soon start to see a warmer, sweeter side to him. My heart broke for Chloe, our main female character, she had a really hard time with the bullies. I’m really glad she stood up for herself and showed them that in fact she was better than them, because she forgave them. A great story, really emotional.

Biker bully

I hate leaving bad reviews and rarely ever do it but because this authors books are quite expensive I feel I should warn others they can save their money and give this one a miss. I can’t remember ever reading a book that even comes close to how repetitive this book is. Truly unbelievable how often the same thing was talked about. Very little happens and the book could’ve been written in a handful of chapters. I found it extremely boring totally unbelievable and kind of ridiculous. Poor editing as well.

Here's a list of problems with this book:

1. The main characters are supposedly Alfie and Chloe, but their parents actually get their own story at the same time, so everyone is basically a side character to everyone else.

2. Chloe's mom, Lily, encourages Chloe to date her bully, or to trust him, stop thinking the worst, etc.... for her BULLY. No mother in their right mind would want her daughter to date the daughter's bully. It was ridiculous. Does Lilly have a personality disorder or something? Because this is not normal or believable.

Eh

This wasn’t the best book I read from this author but I somewhat enjoyed it. To me the book was a repetition of the same emotions. Chloe kept being confused, the mom was confused as well sometimes. It sorta dragged on between Chloe and Alfie. I understood that she didn’t trust him but to make decisions then repeat over and over how she didn’t know and was confused and looked to her mom over and over again was slightly annoying. In the end though they got their forever😊

OK WOW

I absolutely loved this book, it was so full of everything, trials, tribulations, pain, sexy times and love. The beginning of this book was tragic, bullying is never fun to see or read about.. but Chloe was a bad ass and she didn’t even know it, she put up with bullying for years in school and she still showed up everyday. If that’s not being a bad ass, then I don’t know what is. I’m so glad Chloe and her mom Lily got there HEA from their handsome men

This book shouldn't have been more than 150 pages. It dragged and dragged and draaaaaagged and went on and on, unnecessarily. It also told us and didn't show us why he liked her, for a dude that hated her so much !

A lot of blah blah, and the story line with their parents... Meh. It's like they weren't the main characters or something.

Not for me.
