From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author R.G. Alexander, Book 10 in the Finn Factor Series! Could he be more Obvious?
Matthew Finn is about to find out. He’s got a crush and a prickly pickle of a problem, but with a little help from his newfound family, he’ll convince Oliver “Legs” Garcia that he's the real thing.
*The first half of this novella was originally posted as a free read, but has since been revised and doubled in length with a Bonus section aptly titled, More Obvious.

This was a quick novella about Matthew discovering his newfound attraction to men, and one man in particular...Oliver.
The story is hella insta and lacked any depth, the Mc's are one dimensional with little chemistry, there's some under-developed plot points that are left hanging, and there's A LOT of side characters to keep track of here.
Yes, for the most part this can be read as a standalone, but holy hell are there are lot of characters mentioned here. Whether they've each had their own book or not, I'm not sure, but there should have been some sort of family tree included in the front.
Overall, this was a quick read that I probably won't remember tomorrow.
Matthew has recently come from Ireland, Had a rough past and is straight, until he sees Oliver at the gym. He’s been bitten by the gay love bug, like a lot of the other Finn men. I love this series. There is action, family dedication and sassiness, and always the deepest love and hot, erotic sexy times. Of course Oliver and Matthew are both feeling the vibes, and it’s M/M first times for Matthew, who catches on quickly. Matthew wants Oliver, and only Oliver, GFY. Oliver has a bully, and a family he’s afraid to come out to. The meddling Finn men help Matthew, and everyone must face the issues. I loved these guys. This Finn family is amazing. Highly recommended. Enjoy !
Not a huge amount of character development or story here. Just another member of the extended Finn's suddenly discovering himself. I've questioned it before, wondering if this series has "jumped the shark". I'm saying yes, yes it has. What was once a cute, funny and sweet series about an open-minded family, is now become a near constant name-dropping hell. One where the author needs to constantly refer to way too many members of the Finn family "in passing".
3.5 stars Even though there's a bunch of Finn books, I didn't feel the need to read all of them. We got enough info, to know who's who. But I actually read 2 books in the series, so I was already clued in. Imagine a big family, and they are all gay, bi, or in a poly relationship. lol So Matthew is into a guy, which in interesting, since he only had hookups with women, but he frequented a kink club, so he's not exactly vanilla, and he's not freaked out either, he's totally okay being suddenly gay. He's sudden interest is because of a young man who's insanely sexy. I liked Oliver a lot, he blurted out everything that came to his mind. It was funny. Rory and Robert's bickering was a great addition to this story. :) I would've really liked a longer version of this story.
This is the story about Matthew Finn and Oliver Garcia. Matthew is one of the Irish Finns, younger brother to William (you know, the guy from One Wild Finn), whilst Olive happens to use their GYM for boxing even though he is a dancer. They meet in a casual way but there’s some insta-love there.
I think that for a novella, this is quite good and easy to read. Although I must admit that you have to read the previous books in order to get what is going on, which can be pretty tiresome for some people. Still, with this book you’ll get nice sex scenes and a banter between the family members. I mean, if you’ve read any book of The Finn Factor series, you already know the plot is always kind of meh.
The Finns live in a utopian world where everybody is gay, bi or pan, and they’re not afraid to live their sexuality the way they want to, even if that means to have a polyamorous relationship. Hell, if I’m being honest, I want to be part of that family too. But I can also see why it lacks reality. This is a “too good to be true” kind of story.
On top of that, it has a GFY trope that not everybody loves. So why should I recommend it? Well, it’s a light reading and perhaps it’s not that remarkable, but I assure you, you’ll have a good time thanks to the characters’ interaction. Also, for me, Brady and Ken’s appearance was good, since they still have the same chemistry I feel in love with a long time ago, but they also feel more mature and real.
Short and hot story about the straight guy that finds out it’s a guy that’s his ONE.
If you want a enjoyable afternoon read with a mm romance this will give you that. It’s written with feelings and the characters are well described making them familiar from the first chapter.
I recommend this very much, I’ve read the other in this series but you don’t necessarily have to do that to enjoy this. Maybe you want to afterward 😜
RG Alexander’s tales of the Finn clan just keep getting better. This one is a one-two punch of laugh-out-loud funny and scorchingly sexy m/m erotic romance. For such a quick read, it packs a whallop. I am hooked. I can’t wait to find out what happens to the shadowy villain of this piece when he gets his Finn-flavored out of the box comeuppance. Get this today. It’s free at the moment, so let fly!
I'm really glad I read this after the expansion was added. It was pretty simple as a short story, but the extended material really finished off the story much more solidly. I really felt like their were some things left hanging at the end of the short which was unusual with this series. But at the end of the day, the story really did come together. I liked seeing Matt and Oliver finally confront the issues in their relationship. :)
When an author says its a short story you wonder if the story will feel complete, and Rg has done that and so much more. With a closer look at the beautiful relationship that has blossomed between the Finn family members and a new late bloomer love story this book packs a whollop even though it's only short but oh so sweet.
A perfect short. The Finn banter was pitch perfect, and I loved Oliver and Matthew. Had a bit of a time remembering all the other Finns. May need to re-read. Can't wait to read the rest of Oliver and Matthew's story!
Is Robert/Nora's book next? No breasts though lol.
What can I say...I just absolutely love the Finns no matter what configuration we can find them in. This is indeed short, steamy and eye opening..Be who you are and love who you love.
I’ve read this author before. This story was a mm contemporary novella. The author used great humour in this book. There was lots of reference to other books from this series. I’ll read this author again.
4 'This was a 3.5 really quick short bonus extra in this series. I loved the characters and would have liked more of their story. Extra half star given for that fucking cover because ... Damn' stars.
I enjoyed this one more than the last few of these books that I've read. I really liked Matthews character. These books are so much better when there aren't a thousand other family members constantly thrown in our faces.
Matthew sees his future is working out at the new Finn boxing gym a few days before the grand opening. The short, shorts that turned into a thong during the lunge portion of the exercises, is what grabbed him first. Trying to work up the courage to ask them out was a problem. After talking to Robert and Rory and getting some dating advice. He finally pulled up his big boy pants and ask Oliver Garcia out for coffee. This is another beautiful, sweet romance with the trademark insta-wet moments this series is famous for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!
I love these books, the character growth and the tight knit families coming together. Holding out for James’ story but this one was nice. Matty and Ollie were awkward. Looking forward to Kate’s pairing. This one was sweet and a little angsty. Favourite part was the ending. The last line had me in stitches.
Matthew and Oliver are so adorable and sex together! I’m in love! I just adore the Finn and now Wayne crew! Can’t wait for the next one! Plus, we get to see a lot of our favorite Finn’s, this one was perfect!
Oh my goodness! Another late bloomer story done right. I know there is going to be more to this short story and I can't wait. Matthew and Oliver's story was a fun read.
