PTS ME: Trauma, Triumph, and Survival of a Small Town Cop

Rate this book
We are only beginning to understand and address the profound effects trauma can have on first responders and military heroes. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life changing and life threatening condition that affects not only the first responder, but also their families and significant others. This book tells the story of a young boy who grew up on a small farm in North Dakota. He went on to work for 24 years in law enforcement and the military. His journey took him from the Olympic Park bombing, to the other side of the world. From the triumph of saving a life, to the heartbreaking loss of friends and colleagues. These stories are meant to entertain and educate. Based on the events in this young man's life, it shows that if PTSD can happen to a small town farm kid from North Dakota, it can happen to anyone, anywhere in the world. This book is dedicated to all those who have served in some capacity. This book is also dedicated to the families that have sacrificed so much. We are one.
