Daddy To Go

Rate this book
The gorgeous doctor’s got sensual lips, sculpted abs, and yeah whoops! He gave me a baby the forbidden way.

Ryder Rivington rode into town, and the female population gasped. This doctor was H-O-T. In our small village, it’s not often you see a physician with tattoos swirling up his sculpted arms, not to mention those penetrating blue eyes and cocky, knowing grin.

But even more, Dr. Rivington’s got magic in his hands …

… so magical in fact, that he gave me a baby!

It was my first exam. It was supposed to be about blinding florescent lights and the cold, hard touch of a metal speculum. I was frightened, and absolutely petrified about what was going to happen.

But instead, Dr. Rivington made the experience sensual, warm and hazy …
… and now, all I want is more babies with the handsome physician!

Taboo to the hilt. Insane. Get-yourself-arrested crazy. The daddy doctor has come to town and he’s driving our sassy heroine absolutely wild with his growly, badass ways. Reader beware: first aid may be needed after encountering Ryder Rivington.

This is a second chance, secret baby romance with an HEA, no cheating and no cliffhangers.

Whole book recap

*******Spoilers*******
Very unbelievable. Virgin girl meets doctor at OB appointment, knows him 2 minutes and gives it up in the doctors office. They sleep together for a couple of weeks, no protection and he leaves , as she finds out she’s pregnant. Leaves her without a word and shows back up a year later. Her brat litter sister, who from the sound of it mental case, had been hiding a letter with all the doctors contact information so she could contact him. He was so in love he left and changed his number, like she was a stage 5 clinger. He comes back to find out he has a son at her postpartum appointment. They fall right back into “Love” he stops being a traveling Doctor to be with her and his son. Then what ? She gets pregnant again with triplets. I’m never going to get that time back.

Great story

Love this series. I've read most of them and they always have a happy ending. Although I didn't like Abby's sister Melody cause she's petty and jealous of Abby. Ryder and Abby got back together and be a family

Abby & Ryder- Okay, I have read all the reviews & I have to agree with all of them.
Story- unbelievable! but is it hot? Sure Did we have to have Abby get pregnant from her first time? Really?
Does it show that Ryder seems to have fallen smitten for his lovely Abby from the moment of the exam. YES! Morally wrong, but I don't think he just wanted to F$##. I think it was love at first sight for him. Though he was to cocky, arrogant to realize it! Is Ryder a chicken for running away from his emotions & hurting Abby. Hell yes!! What an idiot considering you have a medical degree.
His only saving face was writing this letter. A letter that is never produced until a year later.

Melody: What a mean Bitch! The hatred she has for her sister. I think she has some phycological issues. This is beyond teenager jealousy. She gives Abby nothing by heartache, betrayal, conflict, jealousy, for no apparent reason except she believed Abby was liked better.
I found this part of the story very hurtful, angry & childish on Melody's character.
I don't like abuse. Abby so had the right to slap that girl! What a selfish, verdictive person. I wouldn't call her my sister.
Did I like the fact that it took Ryder & Abby a year to deal with the issues at hand? And of course because she comes in the doctors office on the day Ryder is subbing again? I'm just glad he didn't decide to drive off & runaway when he saw her name on the list.

I'm glad that these characters get a "second chance" at love despite the obstacles. The story did keep my attention to the very end of the book. I wanted Abby to get the HEA.
The unbelievable plot had some unexpected surprises & splendid love scene descriptions.

Thanks for expressing each character with their own unique issues, personalities & emotions.
The description of those feelings seemed authentic.

Abby: in may ways is innocent yet intelligent for her age.
Ryder: Love at 1st sight kinda guy. Not from the characters perspective. But it seems Abby gets his attention. That attraction leads to some pretty hot sex. But it gives them a surprise outcome.

I do believe this story brings many twists & turns, drama, Physical & emotional attractions, The chemistry is obviously well written. You can feel the heat come off of these two characters.
Part of all those new & exciting emotions for both characters comes with regrets, shock, confusion, self-doubt, sadness, rejection, shame, sarcasm. Thank goodness the writer decided to have the Ryder to be determined to get the woman he loved.
If you like love scenes then there's your reason to read the book.

Dr daddy

A quick read that had a traveling doctor filling in all round the US working via an agency.
In a new location he meets a patient ( this is where it got a bit icky for me) within minutes she tells him she's a virgin then he's feeling her noobs squeezing her nipples and then they have sex in the Dr office. That was a big mono for me personally, and he's calls her a dirty slu#,added greedy cu#t and many more adjectives. Way to much for just meeting a young shy overweight virgin who'd been petrified to go for a smear test.
I did read the whole story but it wasn't
engaging and focused too much on being overweight. I didn't understand why as books don't constantly obsess if the lady is what's classed normal weight or skinny.
I read to be taken to a stress free zone not a book with weight issues.

This book started with a crazy good bang. Abby and Ryder had instant chemistry and things got out of hand very quickly. It eas very clear that they really liked each other and they began dating.

The reason I didn't rate the book higher was because of her sister angle. Her sister was younger and a litle weird but theblevel of hate was kind of out of ledt field for me. I guess it was alluded to but it was shrugged off as teenage attitude. Even the conversation with her sister didn't clue you in. Maybe if there had been a scene involving the sister and the doc or the other guy who had been mentioned.

Overall I enjoyed the story and the development of the relationship as a whole.

The heat level was 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

This book had the potential to be pretty good but was very awkward during sex scenes. Don't get me wrong they were hot at times but so unrealistic. For example the H said let me stick my dong in you. What are we 10. How does the H go from calling it a cock to dong in the next sentence. And another one was they said with the h on top riding he could see the impression of his "dong" in her abdomen. Like no that's not how this works. I Really liked the story plot it was really good. but the sex scenes just killed it.

Ryder and Abby

*****SPOILER ALERT*****

A traveling doctor, Ryder, takes over for an OBGYN on vacation. Abby goes in for her first ever gyno appointment. Things escalate quickly ending with a pregnant and desserted Abby. Another vacation for the OBGYN brings Ryder back to town a year later. A malicious sister and a year of heartbreak seems to have destroyed Ryder and Abby's happiness.

Luckily they are able to forgive and find their HEA.

Thanks for making it available in KU. JP

Daddy To Go

I knew when Ryder told Abby he had written to her something was about to unfold. Abby was so angry with him for running out on her she wasn't willing to believe him. I blamed him for that because he could have been man enough to say he wouldn't stay. I knew once the letter issue came up her sister was the culprit. I would have been the jealousy out of her and for being a conniving shrew.

This is One Thing But Also the Other

This is a hot, smexy read but also just a really good story, too. S.C. Adams wrote almost everything I like in a book. There's a sweet curvaceous girl who is liked by a muscular stud. They are way sexually compatible, but they develop as friends, too. There's some heartbreak, some angst, character growth and healing. The only thing it didn't have was someone being kidnapped by a dark, mafia guy. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

You know what to expect when you read an S.C Adams book, that it has plenty of steam and is a fast paced read. This book wasn’t any different, I enjoyed Abby and Ryder’s story.

They first meet in the medical room and it is instant attraction, she didn’t expect it to become steamy. She think she has found a keeper but he disappears without a word. She is heartbroken and pregnant. Will they reunite and have a HEA?

Oh gosh. This really was too much. I couldn’t not finish it though as I rarely DNF but the whole story was just so wrong. From their first encounter which was awful on so many levels to the ending. I know I read for escapism, but just a little bit of believability would have been good.

Sorry, not my cup of tea at all.

Disappointed really, not realistic. Within the first chapter pretty much as this is a small book the doctor has already taken her virginity and ravished her. If you enjoy unrealistic possibilities then this book is for you, mind you I know we read to escape the real world but I do expect some realistic reading. I will give kudos to the fact that it was a plus sized curvy character.

God! I loved this novel! I read it quickly, as I was riveted! Great sex included. Such a dysfunctional family on both sides, but they made it work!

Young and innocent fmc goes to the gynecologist for the first time. Her female doctor is on vacation and there is a sexy male doctor there. Let's just say she left her innocence in the waiting room.

This book would have more stars if it weren't for the author using a slur for people with dwarfism; even though it was supposed to be a joke it's still a slur. The other thing that bothered me a lot was the judgemental way exotic dancers were talked about. The slut shaming in here is real. I don't care if someone is stripping to put food on the table or they just like the attention they get; exotic dancing is a legitimate job and it's one the author probably couldn't do.

Wow great story

This is a very good story from beginning to end. I love how it started out as a patient doctor relationship and then developed into so much more. I am a sucker for a baby story.

This story is very sweet even if unbelievable. How can a virgin shy girl end up getting pregnant on her first visit to the "ladies doctor"? For some reason I'm left wanting that myself. What happens next, not so much, but one can totally see it coming. It's a real sweet story, full of drama and all unbelievable misunderstandings and odd feelings of real life.
It would not disappoint anyone that likes hot and sweet romances.

Abby is going to have her first female check up and she's worried about it. Her doctor is on vacation so she gets in to see the fill in one which is Ryder. Sparks fly between them the minute he walks in and pretty soon they are having sex. Abby doesn't know what to think but when she tells a friend she gets encouraged to go back. When she does they end up starting to date. However Ryder hasn't let her know that his time is ending soon and he'll be moving on. Ryder leaves without telling Abby and she is devastated when she goes to his place and his gone. When she learns that she is pregnant with his baby she tries to find him but no one at the clinic will give her his info. So she moves on with her life preparing for her baby. Now a tear later Ryder is back and is stunned to learn that Abby had a baby when she comes in for a check up. Will he forgive her for not trying harder to find him? Can they move on and be a family?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Abby has finally got up the nerve to go in for her first female exam and choses a female doctor. When she gets there, she finds out that her chosen doctor is on vacation and the substitute is a male. Determined to get this over with, she agrees to see the substitute. Hoping it's not some gross old man, Abby is floored by the gorgeous hunk who walks into her exam room. This will be the first person to ever see her lady bits, but could he also be another kind of first?
Ryder loves his job as a traveling doctor, even when it's in these small towns. Single, with nothing and no one to tie him down, just a suitcase and his sports car, was the way to go. At least that's what he thought before meeting the most gorgeous woman he ever laid eyes on. And then she tells him she's a virgin. If anyone can tie him in knots, maybe it's her.
These two characters are wonderful and have a grand adventure. I would have liked a little more background on some of the supporting characters, but that's just me. Great story!

ONE MIND BLOWING EXPERIENCE!!!
Woah big daddy! Alpha male, distress, turmoil and taboo at it's finest. I need this guy's number. I melted right then and there. Yep, I'm a puddle. One chaotic ride with a bounty of swirling emotions shake this baby to the core. Trials and tribulations abound with sharp curves, clean line and thrilling bumps propels this gem together sleek, shiny and tight. A swirling throng of vexing contingents and a bevy of surprising events meld this baby together piece by piece. The chemistry and connection between the two main characters are out of this world. So deep, so real and strong enough to bend. The characters are well developed, authentic and believable. Their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out perfectly. The scenes are vividly detailed and descriptive it paints a fantastic backdrop that adds more realism and keeps it on point and life like. Wonderful job Adams, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

A splendid secret baby medical romance with an undertone of a “second chance” that keeps the reader's attention until the last page is turned. It has a well-paced plot with some unexpected surprises & splendid scene descriptions. The unique characters have individual personalities that display believable emotional feelings.
There is: a innocent yet intelligent woman (Abby) goes to see a substitute doctor (Ryder) & the unexpected happens which will result in a surprise for both of them, a spiteful sister (Melody), some twists, drama, attractions, emotional feelings, chemistry, a unexpected surprise, caring friends, regrets, discovery, shock, confusion, determination, self-doubt, confrontations, anger, sadness, rejection, shame, sarcasm, sibling disagreements, deceit, betrayal, conflict, jealousy, apologies, declaration, love, happiness, contentment, steamy scenes & a wonderful epilogue.

I would totally give this book 10 stars if I could. Reading Ryder and Abby’s story was entertaining and funny with Mary (everyone needs a best friend like her!!). This younger, small town girl meets older, traveling playboy doctor reminds me of one of my favorite Sade songs - Sweetest Taboo. Their beginning was def taboo-ish, but where is the fun in a conventional relationship?? Despite their age and cultural differences, they managed to make it work...til the good doctor decided to be a jerk and go ghost on her...how rude!! In the end, they found their way back to each other...even with the odds - and meddling Jack and Melody (I wish Abby would have snapped on her waaay before she did!!) - stacked against them. Anyway, I definitely recommend this book. I didn’t want it to end. Maybe Jack can have a book and hookup with Mary. She’s sure to tame his philandering ways...hmmm...

Started great but ended meh

I was completely ready to suspend reality with a fun dirty read and right off the bat this book delivers. But it gets boring quick. The sex is okay but the dirty talk was lackluster and I found words like “spunk” and “dong” off putting. And for insta love, it’s just too long. If they fall in love as soon as their eyes lock, I don’t need to spend over 50% of the book reading about cute dates and them developing a rather bland relationship when I know from the description that he’s gonna leave her. Ryder got annoying and made me mad the last half of the book. I was actually happy when Abby stood up for herself but it was too short lived and had a weird side conflict with her sister. I finished it cause I saw the potential but needs some editing.

Abby was still a virgin who went to see an OB/GYN doctor with questions. Little did she know there was a replacement doctor. A very handsome one. They get busy on the exam table. And so started their thing. Until one day Ryder left without a word. Ryder didn't do commitment very well and would later regret it. In the meantime, Abby finds out she's pregnant with no way to contact Ryder and tell him. A year goes by and who shows up again, Ryder. Guess who has an appointment, Abby. Ryder finds out the truth about what happened. Can they have what once was? Such a great story and ending.
