Punching out a creep in a bar, Daisy Simmons picks a fight with the wrong people: a ruthless human trafficker and his vicious son. They’ve called me, their expert assassin, to “handle” her. Eliminating rival criminals has made me wealthy and quelled my thirst for vengeance, but I have rules: I don’t kill the innocent.
To keep Daisy alive, I have only one choice: take her captive and hide her in my dungeon. To save her, I must learn her secrets. She’s buried her past, and I have to know why. Who is she? Why does she look familiar? How did she become so irresistibly feisty? Why isn’t she more afraid of me?
Refusing to despair, she fights me constantly, torn between needing and hating me. Captivity awakens her dark, deviant hungers – her need to be dominated and used. Beautiful and twisted, she sates my desires like no one else ever could. There’s far more to her than what’s on the surface, and I’m going to uncover everything.
My bosses want Daisy dead, but I can’t keep her locked away forever. Protecting her means taking drastic measures: betrayal, deception... even training Daisy to kill...
“The Agency taught me to survive – and I will.” DAISY
My life was a mess long before I stood up to the infamous Burke crime family, but I don’t regret it, not even when their hired gun comes for me. When Frost breaks into my home, I expect to die – not to be imprisoned without any hope of escape, at his mercy and stripped of my dignity.
He punishes my resistance with cruelty and humiliation, but I can’t give in. I won’t accept my fate. I’m not defenseless – and I have friends. The women of the Agency prepared me for the worst. They’re out there, and they’ll find me – if they discover I’m missing in time. I can’t count on it – I must fight for my life, no matter how I feel about Frost.
He’s caring and kind for a sadistic killer, with heart-stopping looks and a godlike physique. I can’t ignore my body’s primal response to being owned by him. He infuriates me and excites me, stoking my endless carnal passion. And when he teaches me to fight, he reminds me who I really am: a conqueror.
I’ll find a way out of here. I’m not afraid of anyone, and Frost’s making me more dangerous every day. We will face a cunning enemy, but together we are unstoppable...
Publisher’s note: “Deadly” is a dark, romantic thriller with explicit sexual content, no cliffhangers, no cheating and a HEA. It contains material some may find disturbing. Reader discretion is advised. All books in “The Agency” series can be read as standalone stories without reading any others.
3.75 stars!! I am voluntary reviewing this book, thank you Sansa for the ARC! This book has the suspense, some dark themes ( her other books had more dark themes) , and finally kick a$$ moments. I loved the end of the book because I finally got to see Daisy kick some a$$. She is sassy and takes a lot though out the book and doesn't break that makes her a great strong female. I liked Frost also but for this book the female took the lead!!
I couldn't put this down, it is an emotional rollercoaster of dread, suspense, torment, romance , sex, and violence. It is deeply dark and twisted, hot and steamy. There is so much more to Daisy and Frost than meets the eye, I really enjoyed seeing their characters develope along with their feelings for eachother and their self acceptance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is already book 4 in the Agency series, and it’s a KILLER,só good! This one tells the story of “Daisy”,who gets into trouble with the wrong crowd when she punches Randall in the pub she works at. Because he’s the son of Rainier, and they’re into human trafficking. They send their assassin,Frost,to investigate her and he abducts her. Just to keep her safe from his bosses....right? Because he likes her feistiness. And her resilience. And,once he has her at his mercy in his dungeon,he likes her kinkiness..... But he needs to know who Daisy told about Randall. And he needs to know what else she’s hiding. Daisy is a tough nut to krack, though. Before long,he changes his mind and starts training her. If they want to have a chance to get out of this mess together, she’ll have to be as tough as nails.
Daisy struggles with growing feelings towards her captor. The way he treats her pushes all the right buttons, and she can’t seem to hate him.....Before she knows it,she’s training to become deadly, and that’s softening her even more towards him.
When the Agency comes to the rescue, they assume Frost is the enemy. But is he really? He may be a killer, but he does have morals.....Can they work together to eliminate evil?
This was such a great story! I loved Daisy and i loved Frost! A feisty girl and a killer with a heart.
This book is a dark crazy insane book that will hold your attention from the start. Daisy and Frost went from enemies to lovers and you can’t help but know how there ending will turn out. This book was good and good characters if you like dark reads.
I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I could not put this down the characters grab hold and dont let go, it's dark and super twisted with very crazy dangerous moments and scenes that will have your toes curling, Frost and Daisy are one word hot!! And I loved watching them grow into acceptance of who they are. Very well written with amazing characters.
"You don't want to die, Daisy, and I don't want to kill you. But you will submit to me."
This was my first read of Sansa's work and I am a fan! You know those books that are so uniquely written that its a different kind of reading experience altogether? Thats what Deadly was for me! Of course it follows the same model that many others do, but the way she added her own style is what turned it into an actual adventure. It was hard to put down.....it was what I like to call book crack and I am addicted.
Told from multiple POVs, this is another installment in the Agency series but can 100% be read easily as a standalone. I haven't read any of the other books and never had an issue with following along. It is a dark romance and contains some very sexually explicit scenes as well as other trigger subjects, so proceed with caution if you are sensitive to such situations. However, if you give this book a chance it is worth every bit of uncomfortableness that some events may cause.
Deadly introduces us to Daisy (member of the Agency), a pretty girl with a past she keeps hidden thats just trying to make a life for herself. One event changes the course of her life forever. She finds herself in a sex dungeon owned by the beautiful and dangerous Frost. He wants to make her his submissive pet, she wants to gouge his eyes out and escape. He's protecting her from his boss, a crime family that makes their fortune in sex slaves. But who is going to save the sexy assassin from falling for his captive? The more time these two spend together, the more plans change. Has Frost finally found the one woman who can accept him and challenge him?
Their story ends with a HEA, no cliffhangers or questions hanging in the air. By the end of this book, you will fully understand just how perfectly the title fits their love story.
"She's got damage, and she's a hellcat, but she's my kind of freak." Daisy is my kind of heroine. She is a spitfire, both sassy and hilarious.....even her inner thought process is funny to read through. She is smart enough to not cause herself unneccessary hardships, but not so docile that you want to roll your eyes. Shes a freak, and she learns to embrace it the more shes in Frost's dungeon. He may be the most dangerous assassin in the city, but shes pretty dangerous in her own right. I absolutely loved this heroine. The way she is written, the way she is so relatable in how her inner dialogue goes along. She is easily one of my favorite heroines ever.
"Frost isn't a person - he's death. He's killing me more slowly than his other victims, but maybe he should get on with it." Frost is quite possibly the most likeable anti-hero I've read about recently. Sure, he has certain ways that are unconventional and hes a killer....but he is more of a vigilante than a cold blooded murderer. I mean he holds Daisy captive, but is original intentions aren't horrible. Plus hes beautiful and very well endowed, and he builds Daisy up instead of beating her down. He is one thats honestly hard to hate, and he has his own funny moments as well. Smart and calculating, I'm glad that he is able to use his talents for good. And the fact that he recognizes that he isn't necessarily a "good guy" yet still tries to maintain a moral compass, just adds to the things that make him an easy add on my book boyfriend list.
"I've had women who were beautiful, who were sweet....I've known eager submissives and perverted freaks...but no one has ever challenged me the way you do. I want to satisfy your needs as much as you fulfill mine." These two together? Their chemistry is intense and scorching hot. Not only in the bedroom (or dungeon), but just the way they challenge each other at every turn. He wants her to reach her potential, she wants him to recognize he can do good. You know when two people were just made for each other? Well these two are written as the perfect pair. They are stronger together, providing for each others unique needs and knowing those needs without the other expressing it. Definitely rooted for these two!
All in all, this is a must read! It kept me on the edge of my seat and eagerly turning page after page while getting completely submerged into the Agency universe. It was so intense and exciting, the action at times made me forget it was a romance overall....the plot was that well developed and written. It could be a movie, and keep your eyes on the screen until the very end.
If you like dark romance that also has an interesting and suspenseful plot outside of the romance and sex, this book will be a winner for you! The twists are surprising and well spaced out, the ups and downs will have your emotions all over the place. This is one ride you want to take, trust me! Sansa deserves a big round of applause for this one....
I voluntarily read and reviewed the advanced ARC copy of this book. Any review posted is my honest opinion and feedback without any influence or compensation from the author.

Another fantastic story from author Sansa Rayne!
Deadly is the fourth book in The Agency series, and it can be read as a standalone dark romance. Even though this is true, many of the characters from the first three books do appear and play a part within the storyline. I do suggest that you read the books in order, but that’s because they are all fabulous. Also, it will give you a better foundation to appreciate and understand the backstories. Just know that it’s not mandatory.
I was absolutely captivated by this dark and gritty story of Frost and Daisy. I am dying to fill you in on all the juicy details, but this is one book that you need to experience yourself! So, go grab yourself a drink, and some snacks, then buckle your seatbelts and prepare yourself for an amazing ride!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

Holy wow this book is amazing. Dark, gritty and dirty and with so much going on. I devoured this book in a day and did not want it to end. I don't think this book is as dark as some of her other's but there are still some dark themes that might disturb some people who have triggers. These are characters that you discover more and more about who they really are as you read the book. They are explosive together. You get to see them develop as their romance does. I so do not want to give anything away about this book. As I was doing this review is the first time i have read the description of the book. I went in blind. I know that Sansa Rayne is a must read author for me and that I do not miss her books. I so can not wait to see what she gives us next. Amazing job and an absolutely amazing book.
This is book 4 of the Agency Series, and it is excellent. There is no need to read the previous books, although it would give you a slightly better background.
Frost is an assassin with a strong inner sense of morals. Frost works for a wealthy crime boss, who admires his initiative in eliminating corrupted, evil men. Daisy is a young woman living incognito due to her family’s past.
Due to a stupid, thoughtless encounter at a bar, Daisy is captured by Frost and brought to his home. He does not kill innocent women or children; so what will he do? Frost wants answers and obedience, which Daisy is loath to provide. Not a problem as Frost provides punishments and incentives to obtain her cooperation. But, will she?
For me, this is a fascinating story of conflicting emotions: good vs. bad, killer vs. savior, punishment vs. reward, ignorance vs. skills, failure vs. success, capture vs. release, terror vs. ecstasy, fear vs. hope. I really enjoyed the characters, the plot and the dominant/submissive interplay. This book is HOT!
Deadly is delectable!!! I could not put this book down. It's dark and suspenseful with sex scenes that left me hot and bothered for sure. It might be triggering for some with it's dark content, but it was exactly the type I love to read.
Daisy finds herself in a ton of trouble after punching a guy who well deserved it. Held captive by Frost, she fights every second she is in captivity. Fighting for her freedom, and other times fighting against her heart over the feelings she begins to have for Frost.
Frost is deadly and ruthless but at least has some morals left. He's more drawn to keeping Daisy alive than he is to killing her. Killing isn't Frost's only dark side. He has a dominant side and discovers Daisy just might be the perfect subject to release those desires on.
It was a very entertaining read and left me guessing quite a bit. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Deadly is the fourth book in The Agency series and can be read as a standalone. I have yet to read the three first books in this serie but I sure will be. This was the first book by Sansa Rayne that I was reading and wasn't dissapointed. Thanks to her to have reach me for an arc of this book. If you love dark romance you won't be dissapointed with this book.
This story is about Daisy who will pick a fight with the wrong people, the son of a ruthless human trafficker. They will sent after her their expert assassin, Frost, but even if he a kill a dozen of time, he have one rule, he never kill innocent people.
The only choice for Frost to keep Daisy safe will be to take her captive in his dungeon. He find that Daisy look familiar, like he already have seen her before, but can't remember where. But Daisy keep her past buried and to save her Frost won't have a choice to discovored her secrets.
Sansa has a fan for life. Daisy and Frost have an erotic, twisted, dark romantic suspense thrill ride in which you will not have any idea of what's around the next page.
My first visit to "The Agency" and I'm not telling a soul what's going on. It's one you have to dig into yourself. I loved Daisy though. That girl went from having a bad day, to getting caught in a web in which brings her to where she was meant to be.
Frost is just like his name but as you get further into the story you'll see what is beneath the ice.
I read this story so fast because it's so dark and deliciously thrilling it didn't leave my hands. Descriptive in the writing and with the characters. I'm definitely going to check out more from Sansa Rayne. Get ready to have your mind blown and breath stolen.
I read this book in a few hours. I could not put it down. It had me spellbound wondering what was going to happen next and more than a little hot. This book has a student/bartender, Daisy having a bad day that keeps getting worse ending with her catching a jerk trying to drug a girl’s drink and punching him in the nose. That jerk happens to be the son of a mob boss and he doesn’t take it very well. In fact he wants her dead. The assassin for their mob is Frost. He is tasked with finding what he can on her. He ends up kidnapping her and keeping her in his well stocked dungeon. Things get hot and heavy and these two start to have feelings for each other. He knows she’s hiding something and things at work are going in directions he never agreed to regarding sex trafficking. This is my first time reading this author and I can’t wait to see what else she’s written.
Another awesome book in The Agency series! This book is like a dark suspense romance and if you have no triggers you will certainly enjoy reading Daisy and Frost's story. Of course, in Sansa Rayne style, Deadly has plenty of hot erotica/BDSM action. The author has written this book so well that you fall in love with its characters from the beginning.
I feel you will have a better understanding of the side characters and their purpose if you read the books in order, but you certainly can read this book as a standalone and still thoroughly enjoy it. I have provided my honest and voluntary review upon receipt of a free copy of this great book.
I look forward to what Sansa Rayne brings us next!
I've come four books into this series and just WOW!!! This can be read as a stand alone but I'm telling you right now, I'm immediately getting books one through three so I can gather all the beginnings of what is an epic storyline. Frost, an assassin with morals, and Daisy with her own secrets are a powerful combination with a chemistry that shouldn't even be there within the circumstances. What Sansa Rayne took me through on this journey is dark, twisted, chemistry induced, and POWERFUL. This is a five star review for sure.
First book by this author but won’t be the last. Dark, intense, yet romantic in its own twisted way. I haven’t read any other books in this series but didn’t feel I was missing any important details. The author drew me into the storyline and made me care what happened to the characters. The chemistry between the main characters was undeniable, and the plot kept me turning pages until I finished in one sitting, reading just “one more chapter” until I came to the end. Good read - don’t pass this one up.
My new favourite book couple, Daisy and Frost! They meet under the most unusual circumstances and as much as Daisy would like not to, she is attracted to Frost. Daisy has her secrets, as does Frost, but he is more open to sharing his. This book was well written and the characters were awesome! I was hooked from page 1!
ARC review For honest review. This is a very intense story lots of drama , suspence, sex scenes ,twist , murder, Juan trafficking , and so much more . When daisy ( Janet vesnina) has a bad day it just goes down hill . Failing class, losing job , getting her self into troubled ,then having found herself in a hit man hands. The agency trying to find her and so much more just wow 10stars .
Trying to catch my breathe….WOW! This story has it ALL and then some! Deadly is the fourth book in The Agency series, and it can be read as a standalone dark romance. The suspense, intrigue and mystery continue throughout, the sexual scenes are HOT, and there are BDSM elements. Daisy has a hidden past, she is trying to stay inconspicuous while starting a new life and it isn’t going well for her. To make matters worse, as she is working at her job, as a bartender, she defends a woman who is about to be drugged by Randell, the son of Rainer who is despicable. They call upon Frost, their hired assassin to kidnap and deal with Daisy. Business as usual, right? Frost is a sexy, strong Alpha male, who always gets his victims to tell him what he wants to know that is until he meets Daisy. Sansa Rayne is an amazing, talented author and the plot takes off with twists and turns from page one and the chemistry between Daisy and Frost is electric. They start off in dire circumstances - Frost realizes that Daisy may be an innocent and he wants to know more. They start to learn about each other, understand each other and themselves and start to see how they fit together and we see their growth in accepting who they are throughout the story. Sansa Rayne has the ability to help her readers realize that it is good to be open and aware of ourselves and accept who we are. I could write more but, it’s time for you to pick up the book and enjoy!!! This is the first book that I have read from Sansa Rayne and it will NOT be the last!!
I got this book for an early honest book review. I really enjoyed it. So much so that now I have to go back and read the previous three books. The two main characters Daisy and Frost were good for each other. Daisy is feisty, fierce, strong, and funny. Frost is dangerous, meticulous, and kinky. I enjoyed Daisy's sarcasm it was witty and enjoyable it had me laughing on more then one occasion. For Frost I really did appreciate how meticulous he was. When the two come together its an explosion of chemistry. I necessarily don't think this book was super dark, it was a little dark but I've read way darker books then this. There was good flow between the characters and the story unfolded beautifully. It may be 431 pages but I couldn't put it down. It was a fast paced read and engaging. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a little bit of darkness and some kinkiness. It won't disappoint on those fronts. I made a prediction half way through the book as I like to do on honest reviews and was so pleased that my prediction was spot on. I don't think it could've ended any better I just wish now that I didn't have to say goodbye to them. The author could honestly get another story out of them I think. As for technicality I only caught two errors in total the book. So for anyone who hates those you won't find many in here. I appreciated the opportunity to receive this book early it didn't disappoint. Happy reading to any who take a walk on the dark side!
The first of this author’s work I have read and honestly I struggled to get into the plot but once I settled in I enjoyed the wild ride. A lover of things dark and dirty this story certainly delivers, Frost is the best assassin money can buy and Daisy is feisty woman that crosses paths with the wrong man. Tasked with eliminating the threat Frost’s curiosity over takes his caution and he ends up with the conundrum in his dungeon. Trying to break her to reveal her truth he instead stumbles into something hidden in plain sight. Torturing her into submission through sexual dominance and pleasure this is one devilishly dirty read.
The Agency is intriguing and mysterious, I did want a little more of the origins of Frost and what happens next with Daisy... did she see her mother, has she reclaimed her birth right and taken over the family business as she is a nomad from the agency... so many plot twist ideas that we never explored and I felt a little deflated! I loved the sexy scenes but I wanted more of the agency, more background to the characters and a little more of an epilogue. I know there are more books in the series to come but I get the feeling the characters are not revisited as each is a stand alone. All that said I totally loved the idea of this story and on the whole I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and characters.
A four star who is that girl read.
~*~ Reviewed on the Behalf of Obsessed by Books ~*~
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "DEADLY" This story start off with a bang so addicting first Daisy Simmons is late for her class and then get propositioned by her sleezy teacher Blakenstein as she calls him, she leaves and goes to Raphael Bar where she works for a drink. Daisy sees a guy named Randall put something in a girls drink she confronts him about it and ends up punching him he's the son of Rainier their into human trafficking. Frost is Rainier Burkes assassin he us sent to take care of Daisy she had taken photos of Randall, he's suppose to dispose of her but he takes her to his place as his prisoner in his dungeon not only to save her but to get information. Frost becomes taken with Daisy's sass, feistiness, fight, strength, and willpower everything he does to get her to submit to him she fights him at every turn. This story is one dark intense supense filled drama with intrigue, murder, kidnapping, abuse, action, so much happens you just can't put this book down such a unique, interesting, entertaining, thrilling storyline so well written and the characters are so well developed. I definitely recommend to get this excellent book written Sansa Rayne such a creative writer it won't disappoint it's a must have book I can't wait to see what she writes next I loved loved the ending . AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!!
This is a very intriguing, highly entertaining, dark, and suspenseful thriller. Daisy Simmons is doing a good job of keeping a low profile until an altercation with Randall Burke suddenly puts a target on her back. It seems that Randall is ‘connected’ – and not in a good way. The Burkes send Frost Paxton – a man who’s proficient in the art of death and one cool, calm and calculating killer, to ‘resolve’ the issue. All bets are off when Frost decides to take Daisy captive in order to save her. The resulting story is what I expected and so much more! There are secrets, lies, and betrayals, some intrigue, subterfuge, action, drama, violence and torment – all in a well written and well-paced plot that I couldn’t read fast enough. Suffice to say, I loved Daisy’s character. She’s intelligent, brave, feisty, sarcastic, determined and loyal. Her evolution from captive to aggressor was an exciting journey to follow. I loved the chemistry, interplay and banter between Daisy and Frost. Their BDSM-laced encounters in Frost’s dungeon were erotic and sizzling. I hope we see more of this dynamic couple in future ‘Agency’ stories. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Deadly by Sansa Rayne... What a read! The fiurth novel in the agency series is deadlier, more graphic and if possible, sexier than the others in the series.
Frost, well, was alpha all the way, with a dangerous streak, which I loved. Just like the other male protagonists, was a strong man who learned right from wrong, and played vengeance in the right way. Getting to know Frost and seeing him more vulnerable was really nice, and the more I knew about him, the more I grew to love him.
And Daisy. Daisy is the fiercest woman ever! I loved her desire to fight for herself and for the women of the world! I loved her tenacity and strength. She is definitely a woman to behold.
This book deals with a lot of sensitive issues that are not for the faint of hearts. However, if you can, it's a worthwhile read.
The steam is HOT! And you also get to see Frost in his mighty dominant glory, and that is enough of an incentive to rad this book.
Deadly is a read that although a sensitive read, is a thrilling and exciting read that will make you root for the good guys! It is steamy, action-packed and a incredible read! I loved every single bit of it. My favourite of this author's so far! Fantastic!
This is an enthralling romance with some dark undertones & I enjoyed reading it. The plot is well-thought out and written with some suspenseful events & occurrences. The characters are unique & well-developed with complex personalities which results in verbal and/or physical confrontations, at times they entwined fairly well with each other, and reacted with varying emotions to the situations they found themselves in. There is: a young woman (Daisy) with a hidden past defends a woman from the unwanted attention of a creep only to attract the attention of a despicable man (Rainier) & his even more despicable son (Randell) & they call in their reliable assassin (Frost) who promptly takes her captive, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, human trafficking, torture, danger, threats, enemies, conflict, violence, murder, attractions, BDSM, dubious consent, domination/submission, physical torture, devious plans, manipulations, attempted assault, guns blazing, law enforcement, FBI, compromises, contentment, explicit sexual scenes & a very interesting epilogue. I would recommend this dark romance to people who enjoy reading this genre.
A dark, suspenseful book, with twists and turns you won’t see coming and a whole lot of BDSM. This is one book you should pick up and read, I loved the storyline and the characters. I was intrigued after a few pages, had lots of questions that needed answers. The heroine was thrown to the wolves after everything she grew up with went up in flames. With a whole new identity she makes a new life. One night at work she steps up to the plate like a guardian angel, with absolutely no idea of the consequences of her good deed. Daisy is feisty, sassy, sexy, intelligent and throw in some street smarts. She is one hell of a team player, she’s loyal and an adversary you don’t want. Frost has his own agenda, he’s employed by a wealthy, ruthless man who runs a bathaus. He’s surrounded by wealthy, entitled men who turn a blind eye to the illegal activities. In return he’s provided leads on the whereabouts of criminals who need to meet their maker. When Frost and Daisy’s world collide things take an interesting turn.
