Evil queen witch and her minions, shifters and humans- a supernatural nightmare in the making. One evil is defeated while another waits silently in the wings ready to take over. I look forward to more power struggles with evil over good. I liked Jack and appreciated his cautious nature as related to relationships. It took him a minute to work things out in his head. I liked the comraderie and bond between members of the Danger pack.Megan was a walking disaster around Jack, and he had the scars to prove it. She acted immature to a fault. Not a Megan fan!!

He is a mountain lion shifter and she is a human whose parents didn't want her, but she was adopted by a shifter couple. Over the years they adopted shifter children. There is an evil witch that Jack and his family had dealt with, causing her to hate them. This is a really good story. I will be looking for the rest of the series.

Fascinating
This story was really interesting, warring witches being bucked by shifters definitely intense. The budding romance that might never happen with such opposing forces around. Makes for a chilling tale.

The Plot Thickens
Mountain Lion Protector is part of The Damaged Pack Shifters series by Leela Ash and Pamela Avery. This book is Jack's story. I was surprised by his match but as her character's story came to light it made more sense. The witches convention finally comes to pass. There are some interesting surprises in store. I hope Drake and Luke get their books soon.
