What I really liked about Radical Value by Mark Boundy is the fact that he has certain chapters designated for different areas of persona-based value. Depending on your task in your business you will find these sections invaluable: Business leader track, Sales leader track & Sales Operations/Enablement, Seller, Marketing Track, and Product or Service leader track. Each chapter has valuable information, but he sets it up so you can find the information you need easily.

Mark Boundy waited to write Radical Value until he felt he had enough information to fill the pages. His definition of the word “value” is profound. Understanding that consumers value a product by the anticipation that the service, or item, will give them. But it can go much further than that; it can be an emotion attachment, a feeling of accomplishment, or even pride in the item itself, that is value to a customer. I read this as a seller and “selling yourself” became a new level when I read this book. I highly recommend this for those into marketing.

“Radical Value” is a business marketing book that teaches businessowners, salespeople and freelancers how to improve their businesses but focusing on their customers.

I think many of us know that in order for our businesses to thrive, we need to be customer-centric. After all, our businesses can only be as successful as our customers. The more value we add to our customers, the greater value we create for our own businesses.

Yet all this can seem like just an fluffy theory in the head. But “Radical Value” has actually provided specific advice and metrics to show you how you can place your target customer at the core of your business in order to grow your business further.

What I like most about the book is the introduction chapter where it gives a clear instruction on “how to use the book”. The author provides a clear roadmap for different readers to focus on specific parts of the book in order to gain the most out of the book.

Whether you are a business owner, a freelancer or a salesperson, there’s much wisdom to gain from this book.

One of the most important metrics for any business is their customers and the value they provide to them. If the business cannot provide any value to their customers, they will quickly go under. In this book, the author details plans that your company can utilize and implement that may seem radical, (as the title suggests) but are needed to effectively engage your customers, and help you restructure both training of employees and the organizational structure of your company to take advantage of marketing, messaging and efficient ways to (again) create value to your customer who will then be more inclined to choose your company.
I found the information was well presented, but the ideas may have been a tad bit too radical for me as a small business owner. There are certainly things that I will try and take advantage of, but others are not for me. As such, I think this is a good book to read and get ideas from.

Author Mark Boundy tells readers how they can significantly boost their company by using various customer-centricity techniques. Boundy explains that while most businesses strive to be customer-oriented, many fail because they’re not doing it correctly. The book explains that business owners need to use radical steps to do so. Inside, you’ll discover a handful of these “radical steps” such as how to improve value, get customers what they need, and how to best organize a company for success.

The book is broken up into five parts that each explore a specific theme, like practical tools for finding customers and how to create business value. Most chapters will include illustrations and graphs to help better explain what is being said. You’ll also find a few real-life examples that might encourage you in your journey.

This book is somewhat long (387 pages) but it’s perfect to read if you truly want to improve your company’s customer relations.

“Radical Value: How to take your company to the next level through radical customer centricity” is a book written by Mark Boundy, businessman.
It is a middle length book that has almost four hundred pages but it is a very smooth and enjoyable read. One may think that this would be a super difficult to understand book, but it is clear and provides easy tools to implement. All knowledge that is given in this book is very useful for business people and although one may think that they know it all, I am sure that here something new can be found.
This read took me some days but it was a time well spent. This is a book that can be read by most people and in every aspect of commercialization can be put into practice. I would certainly recommend reading Radical Value. I am giving this book four out of five stars.

Businesses today hire employees with extremely specialized skills. This brings a lot of value to a company. However, it silos business functions in a way that makes bringing the whole picture into view very difficult (or impossible). Looking at the entire customer experience is required to truly bring value to the table if you hope to have a thriving, profitable business.

Radical Value cuts through all the mess you usually deal with in an organization of any size and provides actionable suggestions to improve the company’s value-proposition to the customer. If you hope to build or improve a business, I would highly recommend picking this one up.
