Journalist Dani Sokolov writes for science mags and has no belief in the paranormal. On her way to a getaway in the Virginian countryside, her car breaks down, and Dani becomes aware that some dark force seems to be shadowing her. A devastatingly handsome stranger appears out of nowhere and offers her a ride.
The mystery man is none other than Savitr, owner of the Montefiori Inn, and he knows the creature that hunts Dani. Despite Dani’s words to the contrary, he is well aware that she is as attracted to him as he is to her. But he made a promise to Dani’s father, that he would keep Dani safe, and that is what he intends to do, whether she likes it or not.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Daniella liked to be called Dani decided to book a weeks accommodation at a Bed and Breakfast Savitr had inherited from his aunt. It was hot with the twists, hot and steamy with emotions that makes you feel like you are there and wanting that magic hand.

This is an insta-lust story, I mean within a matter of minutes into meeting each other we are into getting sexy times. I like to be able to learn a little about my characters before we get there. The characters seemed to be in almost two different worlds, she was trying too hard to show that she didn’t believe in the supernatural and was more reality based and he was trying to come across as enigmatic and mysterious and it just seemed to make the story discordant and not have a nice harmonious flow.

I was confused at different times in the story as a lot of different things were happening to Dani that didn’t make sense. Savitr liked to keep things close to the chest and didn’t make things as clear as he could right at the beginning for Dani, which never endeared me to him.

I just was not able to connect with the characters and was thankful that it was short read.

A quick short story a well written story that held my interest throughout. This is the first book by this Author that I have read. This is Journalist Dani Sokolov and Savitr, owner of the Montefiori Inn who has a secret's story. I enjoyed reading this book.
