An interesting read. Our church used this as a five or six week sermon series. Never having read or learned much of King David, which is the reason Rene Schlaepfer wrote the book, I found it historically and biblically very interesting. Part theologian, part tourist and travel guide, the author pastor takes us through his own “vacation” researching David in the best places possible. Really good read.

If you have any doubts about the Bible, then read this book. Schlaepfer gives archeology evidence of the Truth of the Bible.
