Alice
It started with a kiss.
No, that’s not right.
It started the day I met Cooper Sinclair, but I’d done a good job ignoring it.
There’s something about life changing pleasure that makes a man hard to ignore.
My attraction to him? I ignored that for years.
I had to.
After that one night of mind blowing sex, I can’t do it anymore.
I don’t want to.
Even if I should.
Especially since he's my boss.
Oops.

Cooper
Nine years.
That’s how long I’ve wanted her.
Since the day she stepped into my office.
She was off limits. Untouchable.
I filled my time with other women. Models. Movie stars. Socialites.
They meant nothing because they weren’t Alice.
Now that I can have her, I’m done waiting.
Alice is mine.
I just have to convince her this thing between us is real.
Not just sex. Not just a fling.
This is forever.
That’s what I want. Forever.
I might only get a few days.

Uncovered is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It’s third in The Untangled Series featuring the Sinclair brothers you first met in the Alpha Billionaire Club and Scandals of the Bad Boy Billionaire series.

This book is so good. The Sinclair’s have been a part of the Winter’s family for so many previous books. Maxwell Sinclair is the worst father you can imagine. He has never been around for his children, has been involved with the Russian Mafia, faked his death and on and on. His boys have taken over the Security business that their grandfather started. Cooper is the oldest son and runs the company. Alice is the office manager and keeps everyone in line. I felt bad for Cooper as he has been in love with Alice for years, but she was married so he did nothing. Alice has been divorced for awhile and now Cooper wants to make his move. Alice can’t imagine that he is interested in her.

The Russian Mafia wants the money their father stole and is going after Maxwell’s sons, their families, and his wife. Cooper’s mother is a piece of work! I don’t know how those boys grew up to be such good individuals. He mother is staying in the safe house at the office where Cooper and Alice live (in separate places), and she is so nasty to Alice it is unbelievable. Cooper and Alice have many obstacles to overcome.

There is so much happening, that I couldn’t put the book down. The FBI is involved, there are buildings being blown up, the Russian Mafia are causing trouble, Cooper’s parents are causing trouble, and so much more. I was thankful all the sons and their wife’s stuck together and supported each other. It is an exciting book that I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Ahh! Cooper and Alice! I’ve been anticipating their story since the first book in the series and Ivy Layne did not disappoint. They were inevitable. Cooper has loved Alice from afar so the moment her divorce is finalized he will stop at nothing to make her his. Their chemistry and connection was evident from the beginning. He has a huge heart and Alice is a strong, confident woman and together they were a force! All the mystery and suspense is wrapped up in this book and a few more twists and turns I didn’t see coming. 5 STARS

Ivy Layne has been intertwining the Winters Family and the Sinclair Family since she first started writing way back when. First she wrote about all the Winters family, part of Atlanta’s elite, in her Scandals of the Bad Boys Billionaire series . Now it’s the Sinclair family, close friends and security gurus for the Winters clan in the Untangled series.

Cooper and Alice’s story is probably the longest going “romance” in both series, but that’s what we have in Uncovered. Working together in Sinclair Security we find these two have been “pining away” for each other for over 10 years. Now through dramatic circumstances that happened at the end of Undone (the second book in this series), Uncovered starts out with these two getting together from the get go......and this is what I loved most about this story. Not a story of constantly losing each other, or circumstances never letting them get together, but a story of two people who finally admit their feelings and now struggle with how to stay together and make the relationship work after realizing they wasted 10 years apart.

Take clever dialogue written by Ivy Layne, throw in a very head strong woman, mix it with your business savvy man who sometimes needs a swat up the side of his head and you get a wonderful romance called Uncovered. Not because FINALLY all the secrets of these two families are uncovered (and in particular the Sinclair family in this series), but because all the misconceptions, the denials of pursuing the one you truly love, and the ability to admit mistakes made is what is truly uncovered!

Ivy Layne has done it again! Written another well versed book and series. But then she always does!

better than the first book boy as good as the second

Ok, so the plot was much better than the first. Almost quit reading the series then, but the second book was way better. Though, the dropped story threads are super annoying in this one
1. She’s suffering from nightmares about the shooting while avoiding therapy, and this is just dropped. I expected to come back to haunt her. The author didn’t need her to get sick. C could help her through a flashback or something. And after nearly getting killed a second time, no reference to her mental state after that.
2. Her brother and his wife were awesome but then written out. If I had a sister and needed that level of intervention to get away from her boyfriend for a few days, I would be knocking on someone’s door, if you get my drift.
3. The mom’s alcoholism. The kids complain about their mom, but they all enable her drinking. I’m not saying they could fix it, but I would think at least one person would suggest rehab.

Overall a good book. Needed a little more fleshing out. I think the author tried too much. Too many fake drama issues to push the romance faster, ex the explosion, the party, the rumor and the kid. We didn’t need all of that. Some ok, but a little less would have given more room to the top 3.

I wasn’t going to continue with G’s story, but now I might.

Cooper has been in love with Alice since the day he met her, but thanks to her marriage and his father’s lies he has been keeping a distance. A distance he maintained even after she got divorced. This all stops the day Alice is in his brother Knox’s house receives a message and saves Adam, shoots a Russian mobster coming down the stairs moments before the house explodes leaving her injured. Recovering in Copper’s apartment the developing romance between Alice and Cooper is hot and steamy. Alice insists that they keep their romance a secret as they work together.

Cue in the mob and drama when Coopers father strolls back into their lives, wanting money while unceremoniously dumping Petra on Cooper. Now the new couple has to deal with Maxwell, the FBI, Russian Mob, a toddler, his mother who is a total piece of work, all while Maxwell’s lies and Lacey’s bitterness catch up, making Alice rethink all of this.

The person I hated more than the Russian mob was Lacey Sinclair - Cooper’s mother. Talk about a horrible vindictive manipulative woman. How her sons still tolerate and pay for her lifestyle is a mystery. I loved that the strong wives’ and girlfriends banded together with the Sinclair brothers and tolerated her.

This was almost a perfect end to the series. I would have loved to see the Lacey Sinclair get what she deserved.

I can’t wait to read Griffen’s story.

What a shocking twist

What book was it when you figured out Cooper and Alice were meant to be? I am so in love with how their story erupted and the twisted road they had to go down to end up together. This book is full of so many of the unpredictable twists that Ivy Maybe is famous for. This is the perfect conclusion to the two series long mystery. Or is it?

I thought from all the previous mention of Cooper, that he would've been harder.

I understand love for parents but he was a punk where his "mother" was concerned. All the other books included the Winters', suggested he was tough but this shows something else.
I love that he loved and pined after Alice for years until finally putting on his big boy pants. But the relationship with his parents, who didn't give a crap about their kids, was a bit maddening. However, all in all, love Alice and glad she stood up to the bully and kicked butt.

“Now I only had one goal: Get her so addicted to me she couldn’t walk away. I could do that. I had to. Now that I’d had a taste of her, all I wanted was more.”

Alice worked side-by-side with Cooper Sinclair for years and nothing ever happened. He was her sexy boss but gentleman in every sense of the word. Alice was married for – not a gentleman let’s say. All those years, Cooper waited patiently. And as Alice divorced, Cooper waited, gave her time... to the point where he couldn’t wait any longer. One moment, one incident and everything changed. He almost missed his chance. He won’t make that mistake again.

Hot, steamy romance with the twist of drama (worst father, a mother who is not a mother in the true sense of the word and a Russian mafia side by side) you get very explosive book to read. Fantastic and easy read with so much happening in the book that you are on the constant edge with what will happen next.

Sinclair brothers - you want to have them by your side - all alpha and all gentlemen!!!

Like Aiden’s book, I felt everything was building to this one final book. The Sinclair storyline has been around since Axel’s story and closely interwoven with the Winters’ series. I’m happy to say the overarching storyline of Maxwell Sinclair and Andrei Tsepov is wrapped up, but also sad to see these families no longer be the stars. Overall, I enjoyed Cooper and Alice’s story. It’s been 10 years in the making so I loved how we skipped over the push and pull and jumped right to them navigating how to be together amid a whole lot of drama. Both are strong and likable characters and the pacing, suspense and romance were balanced and perfect. As teased in the epilogue, I’m excited to learn more about Griffin and a set of new characters with his family in North Carolina. Bonus if we can have Sinclair and Winters cameos!

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

The saga of the Sinclair brothers continues in this thrid book in the Entangles Series. This book features Cooper and Alice. The chemistry between the two of them is explosive. A great book that was fun to read. Steamy and full of hot moments. Great characters and an engaging storyline. Now that Alice is divorced, Cooper finally gets the chance to act on his feelings for Alice. No shortage of drama or twists. Be warned, once you start reading this book - you'll find it hard to put down.

Enjoyed this book. But, the author must not have any kids - at three years old, Petra should have a much better vocabulary and probably not still be sitting in a high chair! Do enjoy reading about the brothers and their friends.

Cooper & Alice. Well this was better than the last book but still not my favorite in the series. Their relationship story came off as realistic. He was the boss and she was the office manager that took care of everything. He had been crushing on her for 9 years (since his dad hired her) but she was married and he wasn't going there. She found him attractive and was interested but again, she was married and didn't cheat.

After meeting Charlie Winters (Aiden's sister that he canned so she could change her life and be happy) she was envious of her life changes and how it made her happy. She had Lucas look into her husband and found he was a cheater face. She divorced him.

After she was held hostage by the Russian mobster in Knox's book (book 2 in this series), she was almost killed. Cooper found her bleeding with a head injury and he realized that he didn't want to hold back on his feelings for her. He had been giving her space post-divorce but realized that he may have lost her without her knowing how he felt. As she was healing from her injury he had her staying in his condo (she lived in the building a floor below) so he could "take care of her". He was very highhanded but I guess she knew that since he'd been her boss for 9 years. They ended up hooking up (SHOCKER).

She doesn't want things in the office to be weird so she wanted to keep their relationship on the DL. Cooper wasn't really good about hiding his feelings. His mom comes back to Atlanta (he had been in Vegas with his brother Axel). His mom is at a new level of bitch if I've ever seen one. She openly called Alice a slut and whore (in front of her sons). Annoyed that Alice was with Cooper his mother decided to bury the hatchet and what better way than to throw an impromptu engagement party for Knox and Lily. At the party his mother decided to set Cooper up with a date in front of Alice. For some reason he didn't drop his "date's ass". Griffin comes to Alice's side to stave off the awkwardness (he's a friend and sees that Cooper and Alice want each other but are acting like idiots). As Griffin dances with Alice, Cooper gets jealous and punches Griffin on the dance floor and throws Alice over his shoulder and takes her away. Subtle isn't his thing and cat is now out about their relationship.

Glad that their relationship is now no longer a secret, he goes to Jacob & Abigail's wedding. They were having a great time but Cooper left her side for drinks and future MIL comes to chat with Alice. She again called her a slut. Not knowing how she managed to piss off Cooper's mom, she asks. Seems that Cooper's dad had hired Alice for the office manager position. He had tried hooking up with her but she shut that down. So dad decided to tell everyone that they had slept together. Makes sense why mom kept calling her classy nicknames. When Cooper comes back and sees Alice is shocked she tells him about the rumor his mom had heard. Like a great BF, Cooper tells Alice that he already knew and forgave her for her indiscretion. BF of the Year Award goes to...not Cooper because he believed that she was skanky and cheated on her hubby to sleep with his dad. VOM!

That didn't go over well to say the least and she ran off. Like a good CEO of a security company he was able to track her down and brings her back home (after apologizing and explaining that he was the only moron that actually believed his dad when he said he nailed her). They return to his condo and hook up again. They are awoken by a knock on the door. Dear old dad (who supposedly died 5 years prior) is on his doorstep with his 3 y/o daughter.

Long story short...dad was working with Russian mob trafficking women and children but fell for one of the women he was supposed to be transporting, Mila. He stole money from the mob and ran off with Mila and they had a kid together. Mila was murdered by mob and daddy and daughter were on the run.

Dad wanted $$$ to disappear but also wanted to leave his daughter behind with Cooper. Cooper and the rest of the brothers had dad meet with the FBI to help take down the mob (I've seen that movie and it doesn't always go smoothly). Mom attempts to kidnap daughter to give to mob but Alice ends up protecting her and knocking mom out (and into the hospital). Dad had disappeared in the melee of the attack on his daughter but later shows back up at Cooper's condo stabbed. Mob followed him and attacks the building. Dad is shot twice more in the arm by Mobster. Griffin shows up and he and Cooper take out 2 goons. Griffin gets shot in the shoulder but nicked an artery (spoiler alert he loses some movement in that shoulder). Mobsters men prove incompetent yet again and it shows that when they came in guns ablazin', they shot Mobster and killed him.

Dad and Griffin are taken to the hospital. Dad dies and Griffin recovers with some mobility changes that have him no longer working in the field. Cooper moves Alice in with him and proposes. They take custody of Petra (Cooper's little sister). I love me a good insta-family.

I enjoyed the conclusion of this series but I think I was a little tired of the series and ready to finish it. The books in the series seemed to drag a little too long. Overall I would recommend the series.

This was the one I was most excited to read about after looking ahead at the series. I knew Alice would be Cooper’s love interest, I just had a feeling. True to what I thought, it closes up the case with the Sinclair’s father, Maxwell and finishes the story with the Russian mob. This is where everything comes to a head and the worst of everything happens in this book. Yet, on top of that happening, you get the beautiful love story between Alice and Cooper. I wasn’t sure how I would feel with the romance, intensity, and passion all happening in the beginning. The first book did this but you didn’t get background like you did in this one, but you also kind of didn’t need it because of the interactions you read in the previous books between Alice and Cooper. So, I guess in a way it made sense to kind of jump into their relationship but the book starts off with Alice reflecting on what has happened thus far between them. She sets up the stage for how the book is going to go and I didn’t mind that. In the beginning though, Cooper’s advances were exciting to read. I’ve only ever known him as the hard ass of the brothers and never intimately. In fact, it was because of the soft side of him I read in this book that got me changing my whole mind about him. I never liked him fully throughout the books. He was always too serious and too intense for me, that I wondered if he was even capable of falling in love. Then, this book happened and all bets were off. He’s more than capable of it, and irritatingly so. Cooper the hard ass was annoying, but Cooper in love was just as annoying. I don’t know why this bothered me a bit in this book. I don’t know if it was his obsession with Alice, or if it was the way he went about declaring his feelings for her. Either way, it annoyed me with some of his actions and scenes he did. It slowed up my getting through this book but everything else in between was great. I liked how the case was coming along in this book and I also liked the suspense added to it too. It’s a great book if you want a lot of action and things getting figured out. The intimacy between Alice and Cooper had all the passion and tenderness but it was the time spent that he wasn’t sleeping with her that his words and attitude bothered me. I almost gave this a 4 but the action, mystery and the way things were getting figured out and solved, along with the curveballs that came up in this book had me on edge and excited. I’m giving this a 5 purely because of that and even more so because my hunches were right except for a couple things. Then there’s the epilogue introducing us to Griffen’s world that has me itching to start that series, just not now because there’s a lot of books in that series and I have other priorities I want to read.

It was okay. Cooper is so cold though, and he really doesn’t stick up for Alice!

Every time something bad happens, which is a lot in this book, he goes cold with Alice. Then she’s convinced that they’re over. It’s a never ending plot.

So Cooper has liked Alice for 9 years but he believed his dad when he told him that he had slept with Alice. So he backed off, then she was married and then she worked for him. Six million reasons later why he can’t be with her, they get together.

It’s really obvious from the beginning of the book that Cooper thinks Alice slept with his dad, but he forgives her!?!?!?!? Erm A) Eeeew! Gross!!! B) Nobody else believes Maxwell apart from Cooper. Wow! He must really think a lot of her!!

So Lacey, Coopers mother, hates Alice as she believes that she slept with Maxwell. But Cooper being a stand up guy doesn’t do anything about it! His mother calls her a slut and attacks her but still he’s helping her!!! 😡😡😡 Personally I wanted him to throw Lacey out and survive on her own! Why are they all still financially supporting her and making excuses why she’s like that? Yeah her husband cheated on her, a lot, but in the previous book with Lily and Knox she racially insults Lily. And nobody says anything to her!!

So the ongoing story with the Russian comes to a (rather stupid end!) and I’m really grateful as I don’t want to read anymore!!! Confusing plots with the Russian that really didn’t make any sense! A security company that isn’t secure at all, a dad that’s evil and has been involved with trafficking women but the sons still help him, a mother that is probably involved as she seems to know the Russian, but that’s never answered!

Spelling mistakes, and incorrect words in this one. Overall it almost felt like the author was bored and just rushed to the ending. Sorry.

Alice and Cooper were inevitable. Oh sure, they delayed it with her being off limits and all, but the time has come for them to be together.

There's action, suspense, and intense chemistry. I love these two together. It was obvious they just had to end up together but they sure took their time!

This book starts, where the last book ends, with ALICE getting a message to hid in the safe room, with Adam. Alice locks Adam in the room, runs to grab a gun and hears a man coming down the stairs, shoots him and the house explores, leaving Alice unconscious on the floor and Adam lock in the safe room. She was brought home from the hospital to Cooper's apartment to recover, only to learn that Cooper has been waiting and wanting her for long time.
COOPER has been in love with Alice for years, and now that her marriage is over, he plans to have Alice for himself. But first down to business and that is, keeping their mother safe and finding their father, before the Russian mob does and then Cooper will turn his attentions to Alice, but when Alice is accrued of something she didn't do by Coopers mother, sending Alice running and hiding from Cooper.
I am volunteering to leave a review for a ARC of this book.

IVY LANE KICKED IT OUTOF THE PARK….AGAIN!!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely spell binding! I read straight through the night and went to work blurry eyed and dying to get home to finish the book! 9 years of pining… 9 long years before Alice & Cooper would actually get to be together!! That’s a long time to see each other everyday and have you heart crushed because you couldn’t be with the one you love! This book has it all: secret longing, powerful seduction, lies believed, a father you thought loved you, but really faked his own death, the Mob chasing the main characters of each book trying to get the money their father stole, murders, mysteries, betrayal, etc. This whole series is THE REAL DEAL!!! Other books have nothing on this series! If this series is the only one you read, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed!!!!!! Can’t wait to read the next one!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome

This has been one of the best follow up series after the Winter’s clan and their childhood friends the Sinclair’s. Reading about the Sinclair’s and finally finding out what happened to their father Maxwell. I am so glad I read all the books in order. I so love how you were able to intertwine the Winters in with the Sinclair’s, each book picking up where the other one left off. The Sinclair’s parents were diabolical, showing no love for their children. Willing to throw their children to the wolves so that they could live, knowing the mob would come back to kill them. All the women that Maxwell Sinclair hurt turned out to be perfect matches for his sons. It was nice reading about Knox, Evers and Cooper find their soulmates.

From the beginning with Dylan Kane, Sam Logan, Axel Sinclair and their loves, through the entire Winters and Sinclair families, Ivy Layne takes you on a fantastic journey through each player and a intertwined story line.

In Uncovered you finally get the answers that have been hinted at during the the investigations the Sinclairs and Winters started; as well as pieces of the stories you had glimpses of during key moments in all of their shared lives.

It's been a thread that's been enjoyable and will be read again. While the Winters and Sinclair families finally have their answers and finally put the past to rest, the whole mystery of Griffin is brought to light. Now the story line is moving into Griffin and the story surrounding him. Can't wait to see where it goes from there.

This was a 4 star book up until the chapter when Lacey went to the apartment and attacked Alice and tried to kidnap Petra. When Cooper finally got to his apartment after Alice hit the panic button, he went directly to his mother and paid no attention to Alice; he didn’t even check to see how badly she was hurt despite the fact that she was clearly bleeding from multiple injuries. He ignored her while she sobbed in Griffen’s arms, while the paramedics treated her and when she went into shock and passed out. He went to the hospital with his mother without even speaking to Alice and left Griffen to care for her. He stayed away for the rest of that day and overnight without even calling to check on her. I would NEVER, EVER have forgiven him.

Uncovered(The Untangled Series Book 3) By Ivy Layne

Uncovered the last book inn Ivy Layne Untangled Series didn't disappoint. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these books. Cooper the oldest of the Sinclair brothers is the most serious and introverted of the clan. He takes his role as head of the family and business very serious. He has been in love with Alice the courageous, small, smart can't do without her office manger for 10 years. There is so much going on in this book murder, love, lies, crazy parents, mafia action and a new sister. You must read this book it is a page Turner. It is for mature reader's but quite entertaining.

Cooper and Alice

A decade of being in the office together and wanting each other but not know how the other fills.
Cooper Sinclair Head of the Sinclair family and partner in the business. Dealing with the mystery of his father and the shady side of him. Dealing with a crazy mom and being a problem solver.
Alice being the head lady to keep the office flowing so smoothly. The office problem solver. There romance is over due according everyone around them. But the drama that surrounds them may not allow it.

Love there story. Appearance from characters in WINTER SAGA and The Billionaires Club series also leading to another series THE HEARTS OF SAWYERS BEND

The End?

Or a new beginning? Recommend reading the first two books in The Untangled series to understand the dynamics of the brothers Sinclair however, nothing really prepared me for some of the surprises that continued to be revealed about this family. Cooper finally, FINALLY makes his move on Alice after nine years of waiting. Is all smooth sailing for the adorably snarky couple - of course not! His mother Lacey and father Maxwell are still around to drive their children crazy. Cooper is also his own worst enemy at times. Hope this won't be the last of this bunch, they're pretty entertaining!

The story continues with Cooper and Alice. It has taken nine years for these two to connect and when they do, WOW. Of course it takes a bomb exploding and Alice getting injured for Cooper to begin laying claim to Alice.
The Sinclairs are still dealing with the fallout of Maxwell Sinclair's dealings with the Russian mob. So all the characters we met in the prior books make an appearance.
Another great read ftom Ivy Layne!

OMG Cooper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't think I would love him just as much, the tough older brother, and little Alice. Reading book one I knew that Alice was something special, I loved their love story for real for real, it was so genuine and beautiful, not that kinky steamy stuff, but straight vanilla romance, which I am all here for. The Sinclair family is full of drama, and I loved it all, from a unstable mother, to a dad gone rouge, faked his death, and then comes out of the woodwork with baggage. I think I loved the drama more than anything, lol.
