Loved Daymon & Nova's story. Good characters. I couldn't put it down. This was a short read for me. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a free copy of the book via booksprout.

She needed a hear and instead she got a Monster.............or is he really her hero.
Daymon, Monster. is not really a monster but one super protective Alpha Bad Boy that just wants to find a place to live a nice life. But this bad boy has a criminal past that he cannot outrun, even though he did his time.
Nova is years old and is "running away" from home. She is heading to Seattle where she was accepted for an arts program. Her boyfriend Charlie is trying to get her to marry him before she goes away so that they will stay together. But she wants out of her relationship, away from her crappy mother and creepy stepfather and away from southern California and her life.
However, things are not always safe for a young woman as she is trying to head north and two creeps try to grab her off while she is walking to a bus stop. She needs a savior but instead she gets a Monster.
Daymon and Nova have an instant crackling chemistry between them that will just about melt your Kindle. But things are not all that they seem as these two lost souls try to fight the instant and deep connection they have.
Monster is a fast-paced and quick insta-love romance story that I loved reading. I would recommend it to anyone that can take the heat and the language.

i read this book as part of an arc program. Nova just graduated high school and decides to leave home. While she is walking along the highway to the bus depot, two men in a car stop and try to drag her into their car. Damon is an ex con who lost his job when his boss found out he had a record and was leaving town. When Damon saw Nova struggling with the men, he stopped and helped her. Damon told Nova to get in his truck and asked her where she was going. Damon offered to go with Nova because he wanted to start over and he wanted to be with her. Nova was a virgin and she was curious about Damon, but Damon knew she wouldn't want to be with him if she knew about his past. When they were camping, a cop showed up and questioned Damon and Nova overheard about his past. Nova knew she had to get away from Damon and left him. Damon wanted to go after her, but he knew she was done with him. Nova continued to the bus depot and was faced with more danger, making her wish she had stayed. I liked this book. I think it was instant love between Damon and Nova. I think Damon was a good guy who had paid for his crimes and he just wanted to start over and be happy. Good one.

Different, but ultimately it lacks development in feelings
I found the initial idea good, but then I was disappointed by the evolution of feelings that seemed to happen suddenly, but not really like an instalove either. It's a lot of attraction, but without knowing why and with a lot of questions, which is understandable since they do not know each other very well. However, the fact remains that suddenly they are the most in love in the world. It's probably too short and one or two more chapters would have been needed to feel this attraction.
Nova runs away at 18 so as not to marry her high school boyfriend who does not want her to study in another state. Likewise, she leaves her family alcoholic. She runs away also abandoning her studies. Along the road, she's attacked. She is saved by Daymon by whom she is attracted, but who hides a past that she would also flee if she knew about it because she does not want to end up in a relationship like her mother's.

Nova has a crappy home life but finished high school and is leaving the small town she grew up in to head to college in Seattle. She packs her stuff, breaks up with her boyfriend and literally starts walking. Along her walk of the highway, two guys pull over and attempt to kidnap her. Daymon is an excon that has been recently fired from his job. He and his dog, Spark are back on the road to find another place to settle when the come up to a car on the side of the road. What a minute that is a guy forcing a girl into the trunk. Daymon gets out to check it out. And the road trip to HEA begins or does it? Enjoy!

As far as quick-read, insta-love, sweet steamy HEA stories go, this one deserves 5 stars. It actually felt more like 2 real people who had bonded through a traumatic situation intead of insta-cheese, so kudos to the author for that. The only things I feel like commenting on were that Nova’s phone was thrown into the woods by the attackers, and then it magically appeared in her paws again, and there is nothing suggesting Daymon is a monster or that he has ruined women, and yay for that, but perhaps the description should be altered so as to stop further misaligning him since he seems to be sensitive to that sort of thing ;)

Another quick read from this talented author but as usual she manages to pack a lot into a few short chapters.
Daymon is an ex con who is just trying to move on he wants to try to be a better man but no one will give him a go and now he has been sacked from his latest job. Nova has just been ditched by her boyfriend and has decided she is going to live her own life so she is heading to Seattle where she hopes to attend art school When she is harassed by two males at the side of the road Daymon steps in and saves her He has only ever had his truck and his dog to love but now he wants to add Nova but he knows he is to old and to much of a monster for such a young woman. Will she be able to convince him he is for her and get him to let down all his walls You will have to read to see

Nova is planning on going to college in Seattle. Her boyfriend is going to California and wants Nova to marry him before they leave. She leaves home with her packed duffle and on the way to the bus station is almost abducted by two men who try to put her into the trunk of the car. Meanwhile, Dayton has been fired from his job for being an ex con. He sees what;s happening and rescues Nova. They head out together until she finds out what he did. Then she tries to leave.

This is a really quick read, only taking about an hour if that, but it’s an entertaining hour! I loved the characters in this, they had some instant chemistry but also didn’t want to get too close to each other, both due to fear. Nova feared getting hurt, she had been raised with her mother always telling her how delicate she was. Damon had a record and thought that he was beyond redemption and any woman loving him. The two keep meeting, Nova usually needing help and Damon being there to save her. It’s a really nice entertaining story.

A quick enjoyable read.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.

This book is what I would consider a short story, but I really enjoyed reading it. Nova wants to leave her mom and stepdad behind and just go to college. But before she can get there she meets a hunky excon named Daymon. The share an almost insta love connection. This story was hot. And though there was not much time to truly develop deep feelings for the characters, I do like them.

This is a short story that had excitement and suspense. The opening scene was perfect for creating the perfect situation for him to shine though it was also very scary. I thought the author did a great job of keeping the characters and the reader on their toes as the main character makes decisions that aren't in her best interest which in turn leads to more drama. Good story.

wonderfully short and powerful story .. if a trip to nowhere is disrupted and a badboy comes to your rescue and everything gets a new place in life. I enjoyed this short story, the chemistry was good and read away quickly. 4 stars from me.

I have to say this is the fastest story I've ever read. 47 pages doesn't constitute a book to me. It was a good story. Find the girl, save the girl, and fall in love all in one night. If you want something super fast to read and a pretty good story try this one. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

An enjoyable fast pace page-turner! The storyline is well written, witty, and very interesting. The characters are likeable with off the charts instant chemistry between them. Definitely recommended!

This was a quick book but couldn't put down . Nova leaves her parents house to go to art school hitch hikes and gets almost abducted by two guys when a man helps her and she falls for him and he for her . Enjoyed it
