GIS Mapping: Step by Step Guide

Rate this book
Geographic Information System (GIS) Mapping uses a class of ASPRS horizontal and vertical accuracy standards. Generally in the 1’ to 3’ range for horizontal accuracies. The accuracies required for GIS Mapping are not as stringent as those for Survey Mapping therefore the equipment necessary to meet the GIS Mapping requirements are generally less expensive. This book will walk you through the steps to set GCPs with the Bad Elf, collect imagery with a drone and process it to produce a rectified orthomosaic for a GIS platform.
