Until she caught her fiancé in bed with another woman.
Her ex-fiancé’s claim that she’s terrible in bed, left her reeling. Now, the self-proclaimed good girl is looking for someone to help her be very bad.
And the sexy as hell, Preacher, is the perfect choice.
Asking Preacher to show her how to be a sexy vixen isn’t her worst idea. But falling in love with the secretive tattoo artist most definitely is.
Preacher’s attraction to the prim and proper schoolteacher isn’t something he ever planned to act on. The town’s good girl has starred in all of his dirtiest fantasies, but he’s certain his obsession is one-sided.
Until she approaches him with an offer promising to bring even his most deviant fantasies to life.
It’s only supposed to be sex. But as Addison chips away at Preacher’s tough outer shell, she begins to see the real him.
But will Preacher’s past secrets destroy their chance at happiness? Or can Addison convince him that he can outrun his past?
Author’s Note: “Forbidden Harmony” is Book Three in The Harmony Falls Series. It is a stand-alone story in the series.
Please note that this book contains steamy and explicit sex scenes and may not be your cup of tea. It is intended for mature audiences only.
Elizabeth Kelly is a romance novelist who spends her days writing and pushing her cat Murray off the keyboard. She firmly believes that a person can survive solely on sushi and coffee, and only her husband's mad cooking skills prevents her from proving that theory.
She also writes contemporary and paranormal romance under her alter-ego "Ramona Gray".
I loved the hero, Preacher. He was the reason I got the whole series in the first place. Addison wasn't my favourite because she was still a bit too immature and too weak for my liking. But when I think of the other 2 idiots from the previous books, Kira and Grace, I think I can say with total confidence that she was the best of the trio.
The book was actually decent. Addison was tolerable I guess. Preacher was my baby. I absolutely loooooved him.
The thing is that it's better to read the previous books to get the whole picture of what is going on between these two, to catch all those stolen glances full of longing, to catch the chemistry they have. Do I recommend it? I'm not sure because I wasn't a fan of the previous books. But this one is definitely worth it. So read at your own risk.
This was a slow burn romance. Writing was good however the main couple was never really together except for when they were fucking. There were few cute scenes with them here and there but what this story lacked was depth. They took a lot of time to realise their feelings and really got together in the last page of the story. Epilogue was even more disappointing. However the outline was good. This could have been really nice.
I knew as soon as I read the teaser in book #2(Perfect Harmony) I HAD to get my hands on this book! After what felt like years and years (it was really only like 2 months, LOL) I FINALLY had the book in my possession! Cue evil laughter, cue tears of joy!
Here is my honest review:
Y’all I wasn’t kidding about the tears. It doesn’t matter what book I read from this author, Elizabeth Kelly hits it out of the park with every single book! What makes me come back to this author time and time again is her ability to develop characters who are so incredibly human.
With this particular story, we meet Addison and Preacher—the quintessential Good Girl and Bad Boy. However, what makes this situation so unique from all the other Good Girl/Bad Guy romance novels out there is just how relatable they are.
At least for me, reading about the insecurities both Addison and Preacher battled throughout the book touched my soul. It is not everyday you find an author who is not afraid to paint her characters in a truly human light. I too battle with being good enough to deserve love; I too wonder if I have what it takes to make a partner happy; I too battle with how I choose to live a life free from the expectations of others. Seeing how Addison and Preacher navigate and grow in the very depths of these insecurities was touchingly poignant.
I seriously had to make myself slow down and cherish this book, instead of devour it in one sitting! Addison and Preacher’s story was all the things—funny, sexy, passionate, wickedly hot, vulnerable, and sweet. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series! Bring it on Elizabeth Kelly! I’m ready!
Let's talk about what Elizabeth Kelly did she gave me Ford a character that I have loved for as long as I remember a character that I never thought any character could or would replace but Mrs. Kelly decided to prove me wrong and gave me Preacher, and not only did I fall head over heels for preacher he blew my Ford out of the water. Preacher has had a hard life, he didn't know his father, his mother was deadbeat, he never felt like he was good enough for anyone, enter Gideon his best friend who offers him the chance to own his own tattoo shop all he has to do is move to Harmony falls and since Gideon's all preacher really has he agrees. Never in any books that I have read has friendship been more felt or special than the one that Preacher has with Gideon, and you can feel how much these two men care about each other and how important their friendship is and I think that's what made this book so much better. Addison has wanted Preacher forever, but when she was engaged there was nothing that she could do about it but once she caught he fiancee cheating on her with his legal assistant nothing was going to keep Addison away from Preacher! Once Preacher decided on Addison she was his and that was that.
“what do you say we let this sauce sit for a bit and I’ll take you to the bedroom and eat your sweet pussy for you.” “Why, Mr. Preacher,” she said, “what kind of girl do you think I am?” “I know exactly what kind of girl you are, Miss Moore, and I love every sweet, dirty part of you.”
I think they might just be one of my favorite couples! Preacher is such a big baby oh lord I love him so much! Love our pinky-pie for being so understanding and supporting him. Love Clark and Belinda! They’re the best parents!
Oh this made me laugh so bad
Her mother glanced over at her father still in line at the kiosk. “The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. Go find yourself a nice boy and sex him up, sweetheart. Nothing serious, just some casual banging. You’ll forget all about that nasty dickface Harrison.”
And I love Harper for this! She’s so funny can’t wait to read about her and her cowboy!
Addison rolled her eyes. “Size isn’t everything, Harper.” “Says the girl whose cheating cunt of an ex-fiancé had a dick the size of a pencil,” Harper said. “It was bigger than a pencil,” Addison said.

There is a familiar story line in romance. The star crossed lovers and their fated paths and Forbidden Harmony has all the hallmarks of a typical storyline. You would be forgiven, at first, for thinking that Preacher (the bad boy) and Addison (sweet, home town, nice girl) will fall into their predictable paths but what Forbidden Harmony has done is take the fable and turn it up to HOT!
Elizabeth Kelly has an incredible knack for creating characters that you care about. The story wraps itself around your heart, and before you know it, you’re head cheerleader on the sidelines rooting for the unlikely pair.
Forbidden Harmony is another instalment in the Harmony Falls series and it does not disappoint. Poignant, heartfelt and deliciously sexy, it’s an all nighter well worth the lost sleep.
Loved this! I was hoping that Preacher and Addie would get together since the first installment of the Harmony Falls series and they did not disappoint. Preacher is an amazing overprotective alpha hero with a heart of gold. Addie is a sweet and innocent heroine who just got out of a terrible relationship. When she decides to get a tattoo she goes straight to the best tattoo artist in town, Preacher. From there the chemistry and lust between them is fire. They make an agreement to keep things strictly sexual but it doesn't quite go how they anticipated. This is a great sexy read. The characters are well developed and the characters from previous books and hopefully of future books make this series very entertaining. Definitely anticipating the next installment.
An engaging and addictive story that I couldn't put this book down! I loved the return of the characters from previous books in the series, but even more than that, I loved that Addison and Preacher finally ger their own story! They truly epitomize how opposites attract, but even more than that, both characters are so easy to trot for that even as a reader, you hurt for their pain and get excited for their happiness. The story is very deeply nuanced, but Elizabeth Kelly has yet to write a story that doesn't draw me in, hold me captive to the end, and then get frustrated because it's over too soon and the next book isn't out yet, (open secrets.org) and you know it'll get to you just like this one did!
This books follows Addison, a first grade teacher, who is basically trying to find herself and her own groove after she walks in o her cheating fiancee. This leads to her fantasizing about a certain tattoo artist.
Preacher is the local tattoo artist and bad boy in town, but he can't stop thinking about the sweet teacher, Addison. When she walks into his shop for a tattoo, he might just have to indulge himself.
This is a fantastic read. I couldn't put it down. The tension build and payoff was perfect. Don't miss this steamy series. And now is the hard part where I wait for the next one.
Let me just say that I love Elizabeth Kelly and all that she writes. I waited for this book after reading the second one in this series and I did it not so patiently, but I have never claim to be a patient person, but luckily we didn't have to wait long and OMG Preacher was so worth the wait. I absolutely loved this book and while I loved the relationship between Preacher and Addison it was the relationship between Gideon and Preacher that I loved it was a real bro romance and I loved it. Okay back to Addison to Preacher. Preacher doesn't think he is worthy of someone like Addison, and Addison doesn't think that someone like her could hold Preacher's attention for long this book is honestly the best one in this series Loved it. If you haven't read a book by Elizabeth Kelly you truly do not know what you're missing
Hot just hot. Loved Preacher and Addison and the storyline. The chemistry between Preacher and Addison was off the charts. I felt so sorry for Addison because of what Harrison made her feel and all the self doubt about her self. Preacher was just so.... I can't even describe him other then wow. An I'm so glad Harrison got what he deserved after all the trouble he caused between Addison and Preacher. An for what he did to the other girl.
I highly recommend this book and can't wait for Harper's and Nathen's book.
I received an ARC copy for this book. I loved it so much that I pre-ordered the book to purchase as soon as it was available!!! I think this story is the best in the series! A sweet woman mixed with a bad boy - what is not to love!! I need to find me a Preacher of my own! The story flowed so well and the characters were so real that I found that I didn't even want to host dinner for my family - all I wanted to do was continue reading the story!!! Definite read. I would give her more than 10 stars if I could! Well done Ms. Kelly!
An inked and pierced tattoo artist who is as talented in bed as he is out of it? Sign me all the way up. Preacher has secrets that make him think he's not good enough for Addison. She doesn't care about his past and is trying to let go of her own hang ups so she can be happy. This book is super hot while still being heartfelt. Love that Addison actually goes through with her more daring ideas (well, except for one with *very understandable reasons). Cannot wait for Harper and Nathan's story and Emma and Lucas's story, because Elizabeth Kelly always leaves us wanting more. So worth it.
Jesus Take the Wheel!!!! I kept saying this as I read this book LOL! Elizabeth has done it again! After reading this book, I want a tattoo, a piercing (not my ears), and Preacher! His character is so deep and unpredictable, and I really could relate to Addison (she pulled on some of my heart strings with her struggles). This can be read as a stand alone, but this series will not disappoint. I read it in one setting. I can't wait what is coming next in the series with Harper. I received this book as an ARC in order to give an honest review.
Oh my, I can not describe how much I LOVE Preacher. He takes the bad boy, protective and possessive persona to a whole new level. He is so incredibly hot and he brings out a fun, free version of good girl, Addison that is just incredible to watch blossom. The angst is all the more intense when the relationship is deemed doomed from the beginning by their friends. But nothing can stop the intense chemistry that sizzles between them.
I can’t say enough about how much I loved this book. I will be sad to see the series end with Harpers story in the next book.
So what happens when a good girl becomes the joke of her small town when her fiance dumps her for being lousy in the sack? She enters into an agreement with the town's bad boy tattoo artist to give her sex lessons so she'll be good to go for the next guys in her life. We all know how this is going to end up but the fun is getting there. What's his big secret? Will she ever be able to talk dirty and have orgasms? The cast of secondary characters are great fun and really add to the story. I highly recommend you read this book. You'll love it. I did! 💓
This is an amazing series, but Forbidden Harmony is the best so far!! The chemistry between Addison and Preacher is amazing as it pulls you into the story. This is a one sitting read! Preacher is just wow, he is smoldering! If I get sick, please call him. A small town story of a schoolteacher and a tattoo artist, each attracted to the other, uncertain of the other. Boy is this attraction hot!! And pulls at your heart. This is another great read from Elizabeth Kelly.
HOT, HOT, HOT!!! I was really looking forward to Preacher and Addison’s story and it was AMAZING! I’m a sucker for a “good girl” turns naughty storyline. Preacher and Addison together were explosive! While I’ve loved all the books in the series, this was by far my favorite. Seeing them face their fears and insecurities and come together with so much chemistry - WOW! Even if you’ve missed the first two stories (WHY?!?), you need to read this book!
This book was incredibly sexy! From the very first page I was absolutely hooked. Ever since the first book in this series I wanted to see Addie get away from her lame fiancé and actually start feeling good (about herself and during... well you know). Preacher is extremely sexxxxxxy, and I loved the chemistry he had with Addie. Although this book can be read as a stand alone, I recommend reading the other books in the series first. TLDR; Another sexy, sweet story from Elizabeth Kelly.
All the books in this series are amazing, but I have to saw Preacher and Addison are my favorite couple. She a straight lace girl, and 1st grade teacher, that was engaged to her high school sweetheart till she found him cheating on her with his legal Assistant. Preacher is a tattoo artist that had a dark past, but managed to rise with the help of his amazing best-friend Gideon. I love Preacher and Addison's relationship evolves through the story.
Wow, I think my Kindle caught fire with this book. I don't like tattoos and I avoid books with tattooed heroes as they don't really do it for me. However, this one was such an unexpected book! I got hooked to Addie and Preacher's story in book 2 of the series and wanted to see more of them. I loved the whole good girl/bad boy going on and how turned into the opposite in both cases. Liked the author's writing style and flowed really well. Now painfully waiting for book 4!
Wow! Preacher blew my socks off. Out of all of the Elizabeth Kelly books to this point he is my favorite. This tattooed bad boy with a heart of gold had me swooning and in love from the very beginning. The romance between he and Addison is sweet and off the charts sexy. I can’t wait to see what the series will have in store for me next. This is part of a series but can be read as standalone.
I am a massive fan of this author and have never been disappointed with one of her books. This is another amazing book, it’s leading characters Preacher and Addison are as usual brilliantly written and their story draws you in from the very first page.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
I loved books 1&.2 in this series and having read the teaser to this one, I couldn’t wait For it to come out. And it didn’t’t disappoint. Preacher was hot, Addison was sweet and together they sizzled. I also enjoyed the friendships in the book, especially between Preacher and Gideon. Once again Elizabeth Kelly has delivered the goods. Can’t for the next instalment in this great series.
5 stars, definitely! Addie is the girl next door in dresses and pearls, a good girl, and Preacher had a poor childhood, made a mistake, became an ex-con covered in tatoos. How can they be more different? Seeing Preacher figure it out with Addie's patience and sex lessons. Love it! 📚🎉❤️🌻
Such a good story! A few grammatical errors but that wasn’t factored into my rating. I feel like it was missing something. I think I wish that they hadn’t waited to try dating each other until the very end of the book.
Sweet, sweet Addison with grumpy, tortured Preacher…the perfect pair! I enjoyed this book a lot and getting to know Harmony Falls. I started with this book, so it looks like I will be going back to start at the beginning!
Jesus the two best friends were insufferable. They were judging the FMC Addie at every opportunity, I could barely stand it. I loved Preacher, but Addie came off as a mousey FMC that lacks a spine. I would say skip this one.
This was A LOT of sex. The redemption was way too short for me, no groveling whatsoever. Thinking about it again: he never said he was sorry for anything... Only once for one specific situation, but never for it all. The male friendship was amazing though
3.7 stars! This was really good and I enjoyed the characters! I do think Preacher def was being ridiculous and self sabotaging and confused, but it was also endearing and I understand why. Overall, a great read!! But I am def a sucker for this type of trope lol
