The Bible calls prophets a gift to the body of Christ. This is not because prophets hear God in our place; rather, prophets carry an impartation to connect all believers to the frequencies of Heaven with fresh clarity so they can receive and release the word of the Lord with new confidence.
James Goll is an internationally bestselling author and prophet to the nations. In this groundbreaking book, James connects you to the speaking voice of the Spirit at a greater dimension than ever before.

Another free e-book. It was just okay. He has much to say. Much of it was informational and I appreciate that, but it also felt uninspired and, to be honest, like drudgery.
Sometimes the word “prophet” can seem mystical & has a negative connotation in some denominations but James Goll does a phenomenal job of writing this book like a conversation taking u thru the Scriptures. He emphasizes stories of God speaking in the Bible, his own life, & explains the role of prophecy today for the individual & Church. He teaches u what prophesy is, how to apply when the Scripture says, “All can prophesy” (1 Cor. 14). His main points are to get Scripture in your heart & share it in love. If you’re interested in learning about the prophetic lifestyle (gifts of the Holy Spirit) in-depth or a basic understanding.... READ THIS BK!
A Wonderful Addition to the Body of Works on Prophets
Jim Goll does an amazing job of highlighting his experiences and bringing a depth to the prophetic by his detail, diligence, and dedication. We need more mature voices guiding us into His prophetic Spirit and prophetic ways. I would highly recommend buying a copy to discover knowledge, understanding, and wisdom in operating in prophetic ministry with humility, which is what we desperately need in our day. Definitely worth the read!
I am always very skeptical of human words describing Biblical words of Faith. The chapter on author opinion of wisdom did not click with me. Perhaps my biggest concern is author 's attempt for justification of prophetic inaccuracies. Brings questions to me when do I accept and when do not. I do not think the Bible wanted it that way ever.
Really helped my answer the question of why i’m i the way i am. I also understood how i am wired prophetically. He is one of my favorite authors and i will not stop buying his books. Thanks soo much Mr. James
Someone recommended that I read James Goll several years ago. Having spotted this book on sale, I decided to give it a try.
I'm not very familiar with Mr. Goll, but this book, even within the first chapters, makes me wary because of how he mishandles scripture. In the chapter "Where Eagles Dare to Fly" Goll uses several verses to indicate that believers are supposed to soar like eagles with God in regard to their faith. He briefly mentions Obadiah 1:4 and Jeremiah 49:16 to support his point, but doesn't list the entire verses, so I went back and read them for myself, which is when I hit the problem head on. Both verses deal with God's judgment on Edom, and the reference to flying like eagles is how they are described before God brings them down to destruction due to their pride. It is disturbing that the author would choose these verses. Of course, he uses barely a full sentence and I found out why when I double-checked both. The use of these verses was not only inaccurate but also unnecessary since Goll could have (and did later on) used Isaiah 40 and left these out entirely.
I haven't made it farther in the book because this bothers me. Should I choose to continue, perhaps I'll find some positive points. Shawn Bolz is also referenced, and I am uneasy about that man. He endorses people that I have researched and who I consider to be spiritually dangerous. I'm not a cessationist by any means, but I do not like how those in the community who believe in the prophetic and in the gifts of the Spirit still being present in the church mishandle the word of God and do and say things that are unbiblical, not to mention aligning themselves with people who teach dangerous things, and very few people catch what they're doing; they flock to them in great numbers instead of reading the Bible for themselves and comparing what they're reading to actual truth. And when these same people start introducing other people who are dangerous, their followers listen without doing research into who these people are and what they teach. This is not okay.
Here's what I know: You can almost pull any verse or small sentence out of the Bible to make it mean whatever you like. This doesn't make it true or mean you're using it correctly.
This book serves as another excellent example as to why readers should check Scripture being referenced to make sure what is being stated about it is accurate. If not, then I highly caution against continuing the read. Do you need to vet people proclaiming to teach about the Bible correctly? Absolutely and with great care.
UPDATE: James Goll has ties with Bethel Church. Due to the teachings coming out of that church and some of the more recent books endorsed by it (i.e. The Physics of Heaven), which was endorsed by Mr. Goll, and which contained blatant demonic, New Age teachings, I say avoid anything by him as well as anything by Bill Johnson or Bethel Church. This is very serious. I strongly advise people to sever ties with that church and its teachings in order to protect yourself.
As someone who's beginning to understand the world of the prophetic, this book was quite engaging. It gave me the grounding I needed to focus on reading God's word, spending time in prayer and worship, journalling, and speaking from a place of Love! It shed light on Simple truths that really stuck with me.
This book was very helpful in explaining the differences between the office of the prophet and the gifts of Prophecy. Great for people learning how to grow in these gifts.
