No Matter How Many People You Bring, The Silencer Wins.

What is it that makes people of the criminal element think they can do pretty much anything they want? We've seen Recker and company achieve what other defenders of the innocent cannot. Mike and the others aren't peace keepers but rather defenders of the innocent and, as such, draw very strict and confining parameters on when they'll act. And when those lines are crossed there will be hell to pay. The Scorpions discover this in spades when they decide that Philly is going to be their town, no matter what. They discover this in a big way.

These books read like graphic novels but without the pictures. The reader is so engrossed because the writing moves so smoothly that the mind's eye sees the story unfolding before them. A great cast of characters that draw the reader in as though they are all friends. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series thus far!

In this story, the Silencer team faces their most deadliest threat yet.

This was another page turner that was an edge of your seat thriller. Coming up against this new notorious gang known as the Scorpions that arrived in town was even worse than Nowak's crew in the previous story. Facing insurmountable odds to save the woman he loves (again) is becoming too close for comfort. However, it was inevitable that the Silencer was going to have a run-in with them sooner or later regardless of who was in peril. Running them out of town will be no easy feat, then again, the Scorpions never had to face a threat like the Silencer team. This was a great story and action packed. I look forward to the next story as it is far from over. In fact, it may have just begun. Highly recommended.

4.0 ⭐'s

★★★★☆: A good, solid book. I greatly enjoyed the fast-paced action in second half. The new enemy seems to be formidable, without saying to much.

What We Don't do for Love

I chose this five star rating because, as all of Ryan'a books, is hard to put down.
It gets more exciting every page you turn. There are times your laughing out loud and times your crying but you always excited to see where are heroes are going to right a wrong.
I found myself wishing I could find a woman like Mia, and enjoy the love her and Recker enjoyed.
Too be able to respond to trouble like Recker and his partners did when Mia got hurt was super exciting seeing how they were going to overcome so many obstacles and save Mia's life.
Luckily for us there are plenty of signs that there will be more books to follow in this series and perhaps ultimately how is Recker and company going to deal with Vincent in the end. You can't be that big and powerful without hurting innocent lives.
We'll see...
And waiting!
