ALIEN MATES SERIES

Now all four books are in one complete box set.

Alien Mate (Alien Mate Book 1)
ROCKS-FOR-BRIDES

Once again, Cara Bristol has spun an amazing Sci-fi tale. Two planets, each needing something, and working out an exchange program. One is trusting, and the other is devious in how they handle their part of the exchange. Earth or Terra needs the illuvian ore to power things on earth, and Dakon needs females to help populate their planet after an asteroid centuries ago wiped out so many of their people. Along with it came a virus that killed out females, leaving them with only a few, and even fewer children being born. The story will grab you from the beginning to the end and keeps you guessing as unexpected details emerge.

On Earth, Starr Conner will be falsely accused of murder, tried, convicted and before she knows what is happening, placed aboard USS Australia to become a court-ordered-bride to an alien. She is on the first transport, along with forty-nine other women that were also incarcerated, except their crimes were more in line with cyber crimes, hacking, money laundering, etc., and they were given a choice to go.

Dakon needs females to mate, and hopefully, they will produce female children to help repopulate the planet. What was once an advanced planet, is now in winter twelve months out of their fifteen months rotation. Their infrastructure has been wiped out, and now survival has returned to a more primitive time. A drawing was held for the first fifty women, and each winner was given a chit to determine the order of choice for female. A tribal leader of one clan, Torq, has won a mate in the first flight of females.

The plot will have plenty of angst, uncertainty, deception, and new beginnings. As the fifty female prisoners travel to Dakon, three will become good friends, Tessa, Andrea, and Starr. There is some vague information about the aliens of Dakon, and even for the men of Dakon on Terra women. While preliminary testing show they are compatible, life on a new planet comes with anxiety. No different than mail-ordered brides of the eighteen hundred, these convicted women will be entering the unknown with their new alien mates. Torq is disappointed when he first sees Starr, and he worries about her small size, even thought on Terra One, she is considered a BBW. When Torq refers to Starr as skinny, her heart will melt at the compliment.

The story will keep the pages turning as details unfold of the crime Starr has been accused of, and how on Dakon, all laws must be obeyed, or you will be banished into the wasteland and left on your own. What will happen when the Dakonians learn that their shipment of mates is all convicted criminals? And one among them for the crime of murder? The difference between species is minor and learning new things interesting, such as kissing. There is a great cast of characters, unique characteristics of Dakonian men, and a love story in the works.

“I would give you everything I have. You’re my mate.” “Forever and always.”

Alien Attraction (Alien Mate Book 2)
ONE’S DUE IS PAID BY ONE’S DEED—AN OLD PROVERB

The story continues from the first one, Alien Mates, where Terra has sent female prisoners to Drakon as brides in exchange for illuvian ore. But in the first story, the women are criminals, in the second, they have signed up and agreed to the exchange. Well, let’s say, all but one, Sunny Weathers, hadn’t agreed, she is being forced into the deal under contract by her studio, Apogee Productions as part of her Sunny Weather’s Excellent Adventure, a reality show.
Sunny Weather started doing the reality show after her sister, Stormy, has started. But Stormy no longer does the gig, only Sunny, and that is only because of her nephew, Devon, who needs expensive medical care. With a nice bonus, it will make life easier for Devon and Stormy, and it is only for one year, isn’t it?

On Drakon, one-hundred woman is coming, so that means a drawing of one hundred chits with only so many going to each tribe. Darq just knows he will win a draw, but is disappointed. Has fate handed him his greatest wish? Draq will find a lost chit, and while he plays back and forth on what he should do, he isn’t willing to give up having a chance with a Terran female, especially when he sees the one.

The plot will have two individuals, each with their own secrets, demons, and desires. For Sunny, it is spending a year on Drakon to give Devon a chance. For Darq, it means having a mate, a female to love and cherish. From the moment that Sunny and Draq make eye contact in the meeting hall, they are both taken with each other, talk about instant chemistry and attraction.

“I promise to become worthy of you. I will become the mate you deserve.” –Draq

“She shook her head slightly. I’m the one who needs to become worthy of you.” –Sunny

“We’ll learn about each other, together. Except for one thing. The secret I couldn’t tell the world, I also couldn’t share with her. I hated we were starting our life together with a lie between us. “

Sunny’s producers were creative in how to make the reality show work by sending six camera robots, ones that looked like flying insects with red glowing eyes. When Sunny finally can talk to her sister, Stormy, she will learn that Devon is doing better and that Stormy wants to sign up and come to Drakon as a bride, bringing Devon with her. Maybe this is the answer for their futures.

The story will include so many laughing out loud moments with issues with the annoying “insects” as they hover and swarm around Sunny to record her and Darq’s every move and interaction. While they are invasive, they do serve a greater good too. What will happen when true confessions come to light? How will Sunny accept Darq’s deception with the found chit? How will Darq react when he learns she is part of a reality program and will she want to stay as his mate? How will the Dakonian tribesmen handle the deception of Draq and will this mean that the man who lost the chit have the right to claim Sunny as his mate? I look forward to the next book and how the new lottery will pan out.

“The Dakonian lottery was stupid, and yet, so romantic. Darq and I had found each other that way. We’d both had secrets and strikes against us, but for the moment our eyes had met, we’d had chemistry, that indefinable bond that caused two people to gravitate to one another. You could see it with these couples, their attraction sparking with the first hello.”

Alien Intention (Alien Mate Book 3)
BEWARE WHAT YOU ASK OF THE FATES, THEY MAY GRANT IT

Once again, Cara Bristol has spun an amazing Sci-fi tale with this new series. Two planets, each needing something, and working out an exchange program. This is the third book in the series and could read as a stand-alone and has characters from the previous books.

Stormy Weathers and her son, Devon, are on the transport from Terra to Dakon where she will be joining her sister, Sunny, and also will be mated in the lottery program as one of the one-hundred brides. She will be near her sister, she will have a mate, and Devon has a future.

“We’re like mail-order brides about to be married to men we’ve never met. Not any men, aliens. Who knows what will happen? Everything will work out the way it’s supposed to.”

Romando of Polonio tribe is given a second chance of a bride. He lost his chit that Darq found and claimed Sunny. But then he also dishonored his tribe by kidnapping Sunny. While he has one of the one-hundred chits, it is also number one hundred, so he won’t get a choice in brides.

“Earth women wanted men for companionship. Dakonian men needed women for survival. You could say Dakonians were motivated to make relationships work.”

The plot will have Stormy and Romando making eye contact from the beginning of the brides entering the room. Even when several men approach her, she turns them down, three in fact. But what happens when it is down to two Dakon and two women?

“Stormy. Her name foretold of a tempestuous nature. Romando. A romantic, manly name. And those eyes! They were so brooding, so mysterious. My stomach fluttered.”

I loved the story and especially loved the chemistry between Stormy and Romando. While Sunny and Darq are very unhappy with Stormy rejecting their friends, the last person they wanted her with was Romando. Even the Fates seemed to be against them. But technicalities may play a critical role in working things out. Too bad evil persist, along with bad blood, and anger. There are several intense moments of life, death, and survival. There are also many laughing out loud moments as the idioms that Stormy is great at using is confusing to Romando. It is amazing how a child is a better judge of a person’s character than narrow-minded adults.

The story is a roller-coaster ride and journey for both Stormy and Romando as they fight for what they want and refuse to give up. Their chemistry sizzles on the pages and between the kel. This is one time that Stormy makes the right choice in her life and for her son, Devon.

Alien Mischief (Alien Mate Book 4)
SHE’S HERE! SHE’S HERE!

“Good luck, and may you all get your happily ever after.”

What happens when Madison Altman pretends to be a male to help transport mail-order brides to Dakon and this time gets left behind? Rescued during a blizzard by Enoki, head of the Council of Dakon, it will be a challenge to keep her secret. Why are the Fates telling Enoki his fated mate is here? All the women were claimed? Will the secret remain and Madison return to Earth, or will the truth be revealed and challenged? Will Enoki become angry and believe Madison is playing him for a fool? Are the Fates really that cruel?

"The joining of two cultures, two planets, two species had created community, family, hope.”

Madison had love on Earth and lost it when Matt was killed in an accident on the way to their wedding. Because she knows love, she can’t just do what so many other women are doing and become a bride or mate to a stranger. What happens when Enoki tells her they are Fated mates and he is willing to fight and risk everything with his people for her?

“I couldn’t fool myself any longer. We belonged together. From two planets far, far away, we should never have met. But we did. No mischief, mine nor anyone else’s should keep us apart.”

The story is a journey full of memories, the past, the future with plenty of angst and confusion. Enoki questions the Fates telling him his mate is there—Madison doesn’t believe she will ever find true love again. But the Fates have brought these two together, and it is up to them to fight for their future and happiness. Nothing is more powerful than love and a future of happiness.

“My past almost cost me a future.”

An excellent series!

* Alien Mate
I'm on a sci-fi high!
Starr Conner, targeted by the powerful Carmichael family, is unjustly convicted of 2nd degree murder. Now she’s on her way across the galaxy, one of 50 criminal women destined to become Dakon brides. When it’s time for mates to be chosen, she realizes she's the only one in the group who is not tall, dark haired and dark eyed. And no one wants her.
What a position to be in. She is on an inhospitable planet, unwanted, nowhere near the friends she made on the trip! I think you’ll find her story and her mate, Torg's story as fascinating as I do. The situations get pretty hilarious as Torg tries to use some of her idioms. Life here is not easy and there are those who don't want her around. I love how her relationship with Torg grows into something she wants to keep.
This is a delightful sci-fi adventure filled with intrigue, dangers, betrayal and best of all, love! Don't miss it!

* Alien Attraction
I love Darq and Sunny together!
In a very different concept, both Darq and Sunny are hiding the truth. In a land where cheating could mean banishment, Darq is taking a huge chance. Sunny is filming a reality show, and expects to leave after it’s completed. But, attraction is a powerful thing. Irresistible, even. I love seeing the two of them fall in love. Sunny is constantly getting into some kind of trouble (she seems to have an affinity for latrines) A good thing Darq is great at rescue! This is a highly satisfying romance with so many touch and go situations, I was never quite sure it would work out. Read and enjoy!

* Alien Intention
Second chance at love - invaluable!
Romando, one of Dakon’s resident bad-boys gets his second chance.
Stormy Weathers arrives with her six-year-old son, Devon. She’s hooked on bad-boys and notices him right away. Enter one ‘entitled’ vindictive female who creates chaos. Stormy is resolute, she knows what (who) she wants and won’t settle for less. Her son, Devon, is adorable and shows how eager he is to learn about their new planet. He’s also astute enough to differentiate between a good male, and one not to be trusted. Stormy’s sister, Sunny, loses a few points in my regard because of her behavior.
Ahh, Romando! He’s proving to be my favorite Dakonian so far. We see what he’s really like when not fully overcome by anger and injustice. And I really love how he is! An excellent, well-crafted story!

* Alien Mischief
Another fine Dakonian adventure!
Disguised as a man on a bet, Madison fields a lucrative position escorting new brides to Dakon. Hiding from life in plain sight. Soon, life hits her with the force of a Dakonian blizzard.
Enoki and Madison are both rather confused about what’s going on, and what the attraction between them means.
Madison seems full of hanky-panky in this book; some of it could get her in big trouble. Fortunately for her, Enoki is tuned in and comes to her rescue. Again. I adore Enoki! He a great leader, makes good decisions, bests his opposition, and follows where the fates guide him. He and Madison make a splendid match once she makes up her mind. The ending is seriously satisfying. I love it!

Alien Attraction
Sunny is a reality star (think Kardashian level!). But her adventures are getting weirder, more dangerous and all done in the name of ratings. She is ready to throw in the towel when the producers tell her the new twist - she is going to marry an alien! She really needs the money to take care of her sick nephew but can she really get married, and to an alien at that? One who will have no idea that he is the star of the show, or that when her year is up, she intends to leave.

Darq was not lucky enough to win a slot from the lottery for a mate. But luck was looking out for him and he ...acquires a chit which he intends to use. when he first glimpses Sunny he knows she is the one for him. But his innate sense of responsibility is eating at him for stealing someone else's shot at matehood.

Between flying nano cameras, bloodcurdling producers and sick nephews poor Sunny has a lot on her plate. I loved the way these two gelled together, even when keeping secrets from each other. I cannot wait to see what happens with Stormy and her grumpy alien!

Alien Intention
Stormy and Sunny really were misnamed, each has the wrong temperament for their names LOL.

Stormy and her son have made it to their new home and she is drawn to a certain brooding giant...always the bad boy for Stormy it would seem. But as usual not all is as it seems. Sunny is trying to match-make, Stormy is facing jealousy and envy from a certain party and then there is Romando!

Romando had a valid beef after his chit was mislaid and misappropriated last time. But Sunny and her mate can only keep the whole "kidnap" thing in the front of their minds. Romando just deprived Sunny of her mate temporarily LOL. He has learned his lesson but it looks like fate is being a fickle female yet again!

Stormy just keeps trying to see the upside and not make waves. She wants a father for her son and if she can lust after her new mate, well all the better! I love how she and Sunny are so totally opposite but have each others back, even when Sunny is trying to mother her!

Devon almost steals the show, bless him. Totally sweet and eager to please!

Alien Mate
Absolutely loved this! Starr is sent to Dakon after being accused and convicted of second degree murder (falsely) and by default, because he is late, is matched to Torg. They click but because she wants to have her conviction appealed she is reluctant.
Along the way she meets Tessa and Andrea who become friends but are not in her camp.

Alien Attraction
Sunny is matched to Darq. Sunny is on Dakon to film a series for her reality show and Darq stole hile chit to get Sunny. So starts their relationship and a series of adventures as a result. Both feel really guilty about their deceptions but she cannot say anything as she is constantly followed by cameras.
This is a good story and bring is the characters from the previous book too, which I do like as it creates continuity
All in all an enjoyable story

Alien Intent
What irked me - the intolerance and lack of forgivness
What I loved - the romance and adventure and the HEA
I found this to be an easy fluid read and will certainly be on the lookout for more from this author!

Alien Mischief
Madison Altman is on Dakon disguised as a man but is seriously attracted to Enoki, the chief! Enoki like Madison as a person but fails to recognised her gender initially which leads to some issues especially when Madison is left stranded and rescued by Enoki
This makes for a good tale and completes the series nicely

Another Fantastic Sci-Fi Rom-Com Series from the Mind and Heart of Ms Cara Bristol

I am a fan of Ms Cara Bristol’s writing. I read each book individually, but am glad to see this box set because once the reader starts this series, I know from experience, they’ll want to read the WHOLE THING!! Each novel contains a complete love story with a HEA. Humorous, with delightful twists and turns, and heart palpitations galore, the reader will find themselves sad to have to leave Dakon at the end of the Series. Lucky for us, Ms Bristol will return to Dakon in the near future. In the meantime, immerse yourself in the Terran/Dakon World, enjoy these Dakonian Hotties and the Earther Women Who Love them. You won’t be disappointed.
I received and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is the complete Alien Mate series in a boxed set. The sci-fi fantasy series is essential a mail order bride between Earth and a planet called Dakon which is in an ice age thanks to an asteroid strike. The people of the planet appear primitive, but are actually holding something called illuvian ore which will power everything on Earth.
So the government negotiates a deal, rocks for brides! Yes the aliens are compatible and as the asteroid wiped out 90% of their female population, they are happy to take the terra women. Each book is the story of a different couple. For those who enjoy tall and hulky aliens, you will love these Dakons!

This set contains four entertaining stories. They are fast paced and engaging reads. Each story gives readers a wonderful couple and what they go through to find happiness. The women are strong willed and able to handle themselves. The alien men are more than willing to do what they must for their fated mates and watching each romance blossom made for a nice read. Every couple has you rooting for love and hoping that happiness is right around the corner for these characters.

What a wonderful way to be introduced to the Alien Mate universe. I think my favorite was the first one, Alien Mate 1. I found myself rooting for the characters to overcome not only their own preconceived notions but started a change in Earth's as well as Dakonians society. Not to mention how hot their chemistry was!

Thank you, Cara Bristol, for putting this series into a box set. You might wonder what kind of women would become mail order brides to a bunch of aliens they've never met. Good strong women, that's who, and here's your chance to read about them and the aliens they come to love!

A decent series.

The writing was good, it flowed well and was easy to read. Unfortunately I found the heroine to be more than a bit irritating, and that lasted through the whole book. I didn’t like how she continued to lie - to others and to herself. She was too conflicted for me. It was tiring.

This author has written a splendid, highly entertaining alien romance series with four complete previously published books in it. All these books have well-written & intriguing plots which kept me totally enthralled until the last page was turned. The various characters are well developed & interesting, they have a variety of traits and different sides to their individual personalities & they are quite realistic with their emotional feelings & expectations.
Alien Mate #1
There is: a defiant young woman (Starr) is falsely convicted of crime & she is sent to a planet (Dakon) as a not so willing mail order bride. An alien barbarian chief (Torg) happens to get her for his bride, needless to say neither of them is happy nor impressed with each other, twists & turns, intrigue, aliens, human females, some humor, action, mystery, secrets, danger, evil, naturally villains, assassins, misunderstandings, dubious consent, jealousy, happiness, love some steam & a well-deserved happy ending.
Alien Attraction #2
There is: a female star of a reality show (Sunny) is manipulated & sent to Dakon but due to circumstances beyond her control soon discovers that she is falling for a Dakon male (Darq), a sick nephew (Devon), twists & turns, intrigue, humor, manipulations, aliens, human females, a Dakonian lottery, chits, loneliness, secrets, guilt, deceits, some action, some danger, disagreements, happiness, love, some steam & a happy ending
Alien Intention #3
There is: a mail order bride (Stormy) & her young son (Devon), a rather misunderstood alien male (Romando), a scheming woman (Cyndra), naturally a villainous alien male (Vondan), aliens, human females, suspense, adventure, action, twists & turns, evil, jealousy, envy, misunderstandings, manipulations, verbal conflict, deceit, betrayal, banishment, family issues, anger, abduction, defiance, soul mates, restitution, tests, redemption, love, happiness, some steam & a sweet happy ending.
Alien Mischief #4
There is: aliens, humans, mail order brides, a emotionally wounded human female in disguise (Madison), a caring but lonely alien leader of Dakon (Enoki), twists & turns, intrigue, drama, humor, memories, misconception, misunderstandings, confusion, cynicism, judgmental, emotional turmoil, anguish, deceit, injuries, doubts, premonitions, disclosure, anger, friendly advice, verbal conflict, challenges, physical conflict, flirting, desire, mates, happiness, some steam & a wonderful, satisfying epilogue.
I really would recommend this alien mate complete series to people who enjoy reading this genre, I sincerely doubt that you would be disappointed.

Nice set of sci-fi romances.

Set in the future and series follows the relationship of four women from earth meeting their partners on a derelict and barren wasteland of a planet that is being manipulated and taken advantage of by earth for their own. Turning the tables on this helps build the planet back. Enjoyable romp.
