She wasn’t a no-name sex kind of woman but stress had gotten the better of her… She’d never see him again so she could indulge every need and desire she had with this hot, sexy, intense, troubled man. Now she has to put it out of her mind as the DEA task force she’s on prepares to take down dangerous drug kingpin Luca Vasquez, coincidentally her brother-in-law. When her sister is murdered and her niece disappears, she leaves the task force to find her. He couldn’t get the memories of the woman out of his mind… Being a SEAL was the only thing Clint “Razor” DaCosta had known for twenty years, until a disastrous mission ended his career. Now dreams of the raw sex with the passionate redhead are the only things that keep the nightmares of that mission at bay. He’s still trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life when a phone call from a friend brings him to a shocking meeting. Passion…danger…murder…a lethal combination No one is more shocked than Razor and Arizona when he answers her call for help. The heat is still there and it’s hard to put aside the memories of their scorching sex. But first they must find her niece and avenge her sister’s murder. And hope they both don’t get killed in the takedown.

She needed one night just for herself and knew she would never see him again. Razor wanted her and he would get her. No names or anything.
Neither Arizona or Razor could believe it when they see each other. Arizona is a DEA agent and they are about to take down an exclusive drug dealer who just happens to be her brother in law. Razor is sent to help her and keep her safe. Arizona has a new goal though, to rescue her niece after she finds her sister shot.
Will they get her niece back safely? Can they take down the dealer? Is Arizona and Razor ready to settle down?

A night of uninhibited sex with no names is what both of them needed. But two years later, DEA agent Arizona needs help to bring down her brother in law drug dealer. When things change and Arizona needs help, a meeting place is arranged, she looks up at a familiar face...Razor, the sexy ex Seal ,cant believe his eyes..they are both looking back 2 years ago. Thus the story begins. This is a good read with romance, sex and people realizing what they really want in life. Both willing to stop at nothing to get it.

Recommend this next book by Ms. Holt. She packs quite a punch in a short story. Arizona and Clint has a connection years ago and when they meet up in a parking lot, sparks fly. Razor is sent to protect Arizona, but she doesn't necessarily want his protection. It's a quick read with lots of action and steam. Another hit for Ms. Holt. I recommend this book and actually, any books by Ms. Holt. You won't be disappointed.

Protecting Arizona: Special Forces Operation Alpha Book is by Desiree Holt. This is another wonderful book by Desiree Holt. The characters, as always, are realistic and very well developed. The action catches your attention and is consistent throughout the book. The only thing that might put someone off about her books are the intense and overt sexuality in the book. She goes into more detail than is actually needed. The book will keep you up at night if you aren’t careful.

Good read

Arizona had a one night stand with the hottest guy she had ever seen. She didn't even exchange names, so when she called Tex for help she wasn't expecting to meet the same guy she had a fling with. Razor wasn't expecting her either. Arizona needs help to get her niece away from the man who killed her sister.

Another amazing story. Each one better than the next.

What a scary situation it was to find out your sister has been murdered by her husband, a powerful drug dealer. Once again, Tex sends an ex-seal to help, Razor, whom Arizona already has met but never known his name. One night of love making back then and the two have never forgotten.

protecting Arizona

So I enjoyed the story but there were a few inconsistencies in the story line. Overall I liked the characters and the plot was good. I’ll be finishing the rest of the series.

I enjoyed the book, lost of action and steamy romance, with good string characters. Sadly, there needs to be an overhaul with proofreading and editing, the errors detract from the overall story.

Review

I could not recommend this book because the editing, proofreading, was so bad. Takes away from the story when you have to go backward and figure out what is being said.

Great story

I enjoyed this book even though 8t seemed to repeat itself a few times, this author really needs an editor because her writing is good but has many errors

Needs proofing and editing

This could be a really good book, it has a good plot, strong characters and a fast pace, however it needs a huge amount of proofing. The biggest issue is the repetativness- at the end of chapter one she rings her boss to report in and tell him about her sisters murder (he gives her time off to find Ruby) then in chapter five she has to let her boss know and calls to tell him about her sisters murder - again! This happens more than once and it frequently skips about with information that was relevant two chapters earlier added in, almost as an after thought in a random place where it has no relevance. Very confusing and quite frustrating, I read this on Kindle Unlimited, so cost was not an issue but I would not pay for this book.
I find this author's books are either 5 star fantastic reads or 3 star, rushed to write this and didn't bother with proofing and editing! There is a slight risk of which you will get but for me if I can read them on Kindle Unlimited the risk of a bad one is worth it to find the true gem of a 5 star one.
