Read this for help setting 2025 goals and resolutions. It sparked some ideas but the challenges are pretty repetitive and simplistic. I also think I wasn’t the target audience- a lot of the book is aimed at mothers/families.
I finally got started on the year of "me". This little book is a tremendous help. For me, I needed the challenge rather than the suggestion and I needed to start slow. I think this is the best book I have read that would encourage young families to engage in a lifetime of health. I have worked my own plan from all suggestions. I liked the format too. Lots of lists and illustration not a lot of repetitive text. My capabilities are limited for some items but I can easily substitute to fit my age, lifestyle, etc. This little book will help you relax, sleep better, improve your complexion, become stronger, get more flexible, make better food choices, etc. etc. etc. For those who discovered this book in 2019 you had your COVID companion when the pandemic struck. I'm in day four and counting............
Easy to read and filled with many great fitness and health challenges, such as Couch to 5K, Deck of Cards work out, work outs for each day of the year, intermittent fasting, and a gratitude journal challenge. I read it in less than an hour. Now to put some of the challenges into practice!
