What Fun!
Before picking up this ultimate box set, I had never read a book by this particular author. I have to say that I enjoyed it immensely. It is British romantic comedy at its quirky, funny best. Clara’s head is quite a one to be in… and for such an extended time! The series follows her through the early stages of her romance with the man she marries and later has a family with. It follows her (and their family) as she adjusts to married life and motherhood, survives the holidays, and goes on vacations. Clara always keeps her wry sense of humor and unique take on the world. I liked her observations on life and the places that she visited. There's also a great cast of secondary characters. With so many books in this collection and so much happening throughout the series, we get to see all of these characters from a variety of angles as they mature and change as life presents its ups and downs. Clara’s friends felt like they became mine as well over the course of the series; I like it when an author manages to pull that off. By the way, this is written with British spelling and grammar, and I know some of my fellow Americans don’t particularly like that. But I have to say that the pleasure of reading this series is worth the effort and minor annoyance! ;-)

Mi familia
I never have read so many books about the same people. I grew to really like them and the true to life emotions that arose in their journey to adulthood and beyond. Each story was unique and explained the background in a natural, not draggy way. Two things stood out. These people were all bordering on or actual alcoholics. Never saw so much drinking in a story before. The other thing that irked me was Janie's personality. Too much, too provocative, but then I thought...I'll bet there are people like that, and I did like the way the main character stood up to her eventually. I liked that there were no deaths, no accidents, no torrid love scenes, just happy ending stories. It was a nice vacation for me. Now back to the serial killers, mysteries, and occasionally a time travel book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this eleven book package and read them all straight thru! We meet Clara, the main character a single, late 20’s Londoner and all her great pals. Clara’s life takes a big turn when she meets Oliver. Then each of her pals find their soul-mates. Through babies, weddings, vacations, business catastrophes, a wacko mother-in-law the books flow seamlessly into one another. Humorous, romantic, sometimes sad - these stories cover the gamut! I truly enjoyed this series and plan to read the next five!

Clara Andrew’s does life in a whirlwind
Had the best escape in Clara’s world. Clean and ridiculous at the same time she mandates that there is more to life than wealth, misfortunes and sometimes sadnesses.. I could not put down this rom com series. To be honest I started with book 8 then worked my way to the series. Thank you Clara for filling my life with color, friendship, love of family and the joy of caring for others. Janie gave me stitches and the work gang made every day bearable. Bravo Lacey London

Fun enjoyable light reading
I plowed through all 11 of these books in a matter of days. They are fun, lighthearted, with a touch of reality and philosophy that only has to do with human relationships and what is right and what is wrong. With each of the main characters getting married and becoming moms, their growth is intricately detailed. Relationships are followed and outrageous characters even have some character development to them. Very enjoyable!

Good continuity
Where we say a great development of “flowchart” of friends and marriages,the stories were very similar and themes became a bit boring. I’d say about 40% of the book had someone either drinking or drunk. I would not recommend the book for pre teens for that reason. There was little to no sex to worry about.

A fun series
This was a really fun series. Adventure in each of the stories. Romance and happy endings all around. I wished Eve and Owen had been in the last one though. I missed them.

Clara Andrews and Extra Reads
Good read. Wow, why is Clara mother in law insane. It was nice to read about the scenery in Mykonos and Barboados. Names of celebraties that went to the bar in Barboados could be mentioned there. This book is ideal for teenagers.

I loved the 11 books, but I was disappointed in the ending. It seemed rushed to me. I also didn't like the bonus material.

This box Set has 11 books to read. I have only read the first book so far.
Poor Clara has been given a promotion and does not know what to expect from the American who is coming to work with her on a new line of shoes for the company she works for. Her company "Suave" is in London.
He will be here for 8 weeks to finish the new line of shoes.
Everything is going fine until they go to a Fashion Show. Oliver is falling in love with Clara and does not care who knows it.
This box set has 11 books in it so i will be back when I finish each book.

Well because Oliver mother is a little strange, it was funny to see how Clara gets along with both of
