Story of deceit, power, abuse l, tragedy and anexity. It's a gangster world and that means loyalty and trust.. surely. Growing up in the perfect family household means Its loving and secure yet why does Katie feel out of place? Things just spirial and spirial that the is only one option, the one to lead a better life the only thing though is, is it the right option. Surely one person can't suffer pain after pain had luck constantly following them around. This book throws you to turn page after page not believing what your reading but so gripped you need to get to the next bit. Oh what a twist one that you won't figure out in a million years. Nice to see Craig Carter brought in to it. Absolutely smashed the book out the water and can honestly say I've seen your journey. Zoee my lady take your hat off and bow. So excited for the next book. Please don't stop your written by for as long you did. I'm hooked again xxx
This is Katie Hutchings story. A book of, survival, victims in the drug underworld London. Katie fifteen years old according to her father Viktor is an attention seeker not like her golden boy brother Joey along with their mother Kelly who's more interested in getting her next drink and living the high life. The Hutchings were well though of in Thomas Street, her dad a well known face in the drug crime world. Katie has been carrying a dirty secret the last couple of years Joey had hurt Katie and it was still disgusting ,happening, she dreads going home, her parents wouldn't believe her ,so in Katies case she keeps asking herself Why Me? . This book will tread deep into your emotions, powerful, outstanding, a story that has to be read. I found myself engrossed in this book all the way through. But as we hit the final instalment holding a big secret. Could this lead to happy ending? Its definitely a must-read to find out Well deserved star's.
A good read but a hard read sometimes displaying the worst of humanity. Drugs human trafficking prostitution violence abuse the list goes on ! Some great characters that had the potential for developing. I did despair of Katie after all she endured why she did what she did! I wanted her to reach out for help and get that help! That being said a good gritty read . First time I have read this author will read her books again. I must admit I like a bit of good aswell as the bad! To be fair there was good in people you would not expect particularly Tiki Pj and Jade great characters!

A fantastic gritty story of a girl from a gangland family who suffers abuse that nobody should ever have to go through. Will she escape or will her life get worse? Can she ever recover from such harrowing torture? A twisted story with an even bigger twist at the end. Even Craig Carter from the previous books makes a cameo appearance. Zoee, you absolutely nailed it. This booked will truly have you gripped wanting to know where life will lead this poor girl.
I have had this on my kindle to read for a while now and apart from the book needing to be formatted, I had to stay reading it to find out what happened at the end. It's a tough read of heartbreak and betrayal from those who are closest to Kate and leaving seemed her only option. What confused me was where did Jack fit in at the end and while justice was done, I thought the ending was a bit rushed and convenient.

This book had me gripped from the opening lines. Raw emotion, bloodshed, fear, and gritty story heartbreakingly told. This is the first book I have read of Zoee's but it leaves me wanting more, I am looking forward to Secluded next year in the month of my birthday. Congratulations Zoee on this amazing book, you killed it girl. I love it....
I had to read it in one go. Absolutely bloody fantastic. It was all there love crime violence drugs you name it it was all there. Well done zoee Smith you wrote an absolute blinder. Best book I've read this year . Loved it from start to finish
I wasn’t too sure about this one, but I kept seeing it mentioned on a page I’m part of. Fantastic story. I didn’t expect it to end the way it did, I was imagining all sorts! Great read and definitely an author to follow
There are too many spelling mistakes in this book, really put me off. The story was long and drawn out but the ending was rushed into just a few pages, I was very disappointed with . Wish her all the best but sorry just not for me.
This is one of the strangest books I've ever read. The story is ok but wow what a load of unnecessary sentences. Im sure half the book is just nonsense and it doesn't really flow. I had to finish it and I was so glad when I got to the end. It really was hard going.
Lots of mistakes and typos throughout. Needs editing - hence the two stars. It was a struggle because of this but I'm glad I stuck with it until the end.
This is my favourite book written by ZS so far. Fantastic storyline with an unexpected twist at the end and a cast of addictive characters. Well worth a read.
