What a satisfying conclusion to the mystery of Flight 19. You must read the first book in this duo first in order to appreciate this fun, fast-paced and imaginative tale. NOTE: many people have suggested that this story line is similar to a TV show called "Manifest" that happens to have a similar premise with the time travel aspect via the plane. That is the only element that connects the show with this book as nothing else is remotely alike. I believe this set of books would make a much better television drama.
It's about 7 months after Flight 19 reappeared in 2024 and the passengers and crew have started to adjust to being thrust 5 years into the future. Their lives have been significantly altered, some for the better and some for the worse. The shocks and surprises they faced were also laced with some tender and romantic liaisons and our main characters are weathering the storm their reappearance has caused. At the end of book one, some of the passengers and crew from the ill-fated flight have agreed to take another trip on the Airbus that took them into the future. Unfortunately, this trip doesn't go as planned. NO SPOILERS.
I loved meeting up with the characters I grew to love in the first installment and was very happy with all things turned out for everyone. I liked the futuristic and secretive pieces of the story as well as the human drama that played out. The author's writing style is very engaging and it was easy to read this in a single sitting. I'm sad to see the story end and hope to hear more from this talented author in the future.

I am a bit confused how to rate this. I am sure this book (I and II) will stick with me for a long time. The plot is so unique and constantly entertaining but I also was frustrated with it at time. It was unique that the narrator was letting you in on things, essentially spoiling the future on some things, yet this method actually worked. The book was still very entertaining. I was mad how the first one ended but was glad there was a second book I could pick right up. I was mildly annoyed there were three epilogues to the part II book. Who does that?? But then again, I was very pleased with how the author tied everything up across all three of the epilogues lol. I think the author made some unique artistic choices but they actually worked out. Very interesting. If you find missing plane books interesting or enjoyed the show Manifest, this is for you!

I so enjoyed Flight 19...but Part 2 is even more exciting. I hated putting down.
The characters feel like old friends. I hate to say more because, I fear, I will let something slip.
If you enjoy, mystery, time travel, suspense...and interesting characters, grab Flight 19 and start the journey...get Part 2 while you're at it, because you'll want to read them back to back.
Highly recommend.

A great twin read.
I enjoyed reading both flight 19 books, some really good characters take you on a trip that needs your imagination to be on top form. I highly recommend reading them. After I’d finished the first book it was with great pleasure that I realised that part two had been written, that was purchased immediately and I’ve just finished it. Great escapism.

Should be more than a five star rating.
121 books I’ve read this year, I’ve never wanted to finish one as fast as this to get the answers. Well told. Author interacts with u as a reader. Absolutely brilliant read, fantastic ending although I did get confused a lil in places. All comes together in the end. Brilliant. You ll not regret reading this two part story.

Wow
I have read Flight 19 books 1 and 2 . I can honestly say that they aren't the normal type of books I read . They both had me totally engrossed and I really couldn't put my kindle down.The reason was I wanted to know what had happened . This books are fantastic and highly recommended

WOW!
I can’t say much more, other than I really loved this story.
I was so happy to see that part two was ready, I bought it right away. I didn’t get a chance to read it till now.
It was truly worth it.
I am looking for more from this author. What a good writer he is!

Brilliant sequel
After reading flight 19, I had to get the sequel. Often sequels disappointed me, but this one certainly didn't. Tied I the stories carefully and in the right ways. I loved it. No spoilers but read the apologies as well.

Loved it. Lots of different strands and people to get your head around but really enjoyed book one and book two equally. Nice relaxed writing style and lots of interesting characters.

Interesting take on time travel
Imaginative story told in an imaginative way. It is unlike any other book I have read. Highly recommended for a lazy afternoon’s read.

I read the first book and I couldn't read the sequel fast enough. Really good read. I usually get bored with sequels, but loved this one.

Great boom!
Sequels often disappoint, but this one doesn’t! Great story, well told. Don’t mistake it with the TV series with a similar premise...this is much better.

This is the continued story of Flight 19. After disappearing in 2019 and reappearing in 2024, half of the passengers signed up for another flight, which reappeared in 2021. Most people are dealing with the fallout of that, trying to prevent tragedies that they know will occur in the future, and solving the mystery of why they disappeared (twice) in the first place.
Welcome to another addition of “Is It Me or Is It May?” Today’s contestant is “Flight 19: Part II”, which is of course the sequel (or more accurately, the continuing story of) “Flight 19”. I really enjoyed Part 1, but this one was a different type of story altogether. Part 1 literally just ended, and this book picks up right where it left off. This story is unique like the first one, but while they both contain a lot of characters, I had a harder time keeping track of it all in this book. Also the multiple timelines and various plot points almost broke my brain. I did have to read this in smaller chunks (because May) which probably affected my understanding and enjoyment of it. I think Mr. Finnegan is a good writer, and kudos to him for writing such a grand story that it had to be broken up into two 380 page books. I liked the ending of this one, and the resolution for almost all of the characters.
I think I would have found it easier to understand if the second flight went back to 2019 (where they started), and not 2021. I found it hard to keep track of the timelines and events that hadn't happened but were going to happen, the people who had died and were alive again, etc. Also, when the alien showed up (out of nowhere, it seemed to me!), no one was appropriately shocked or surprised?! I felt like that should have been a much bigger deal to the characters, and all they really kept pointing out was his toupee? I also didn't like how this story seemed to make the events of book 1 almost irrelevant. In "Flight 19", I loved how the characters were dealing with missing 5 years of their lives, and everything that had changed while they were gone. In this story, they went back to 2021, and the people who they had been brokenhearted about in the first book were all alive, so it took away from the tragedy of book 1 in my mind. Several of the heartbreaking parts of the first book were undone in this book, which was good for the characters but also felt like a trick somehow. Also--and this seems minor but it bothered me--the Disclaimer (Full) in the back of the "Flight 19" book mentioned "the alien object" on page 343, when there was NO MENTION of aliens at ALL in the book, and in fact this is a huge spoiler for the second book! This disclaimer is copied and pasted identically in part 2, but should not have been included in book 1.
If you read “Flight 19”, you have to read this one too to get the full story and explanation of the events. So give it a try, and let me know if it’s me or if it’s May. This one is even more highly rated than "Flight 19"so it might just be me. 😵💫🤷🏼♀️

I read this book and the first one in the space of 36 hours. No, I didn't go to sleep, the story was just too addictive! I needed to know what happened to everyone in the end! Things get way crazier in book two, but there are also answers, as well as a lot of puzzle pieces fitting together. I have to say that when I hit the first "the end" I was a little miffed until I turned the page and saw there were epilogues! This finale to Flight 19 was a jam-packed rollercoaster ride ending in a most satisfying ending. I highly recommend this duet!

FLight 19 Part II
I loved this whole book beginning with part I. It started out like a tv show I watched but they never finished the ending. I believe it was because of Covid. As I got further in this book it got very interesting and I didn't want to put it down. But I was reading on a Kindle so it took me a few days because I had to read both parts but I am so happy I had to read. If you want to read something that keeps you on the edge of your seat you need to read both parts of this book.

Grant Finnegan is a great Australian writer. Every sentence, every paragraph, every chapter of this novel (and Flight 19 - Part 1) is a delight to read and takes you on a wonderful journey. Read in under six hours. Twist after twist, surprise after surprise, shock after shock, just brilliant, suspense right through to the end. Highly recommended read of this sensational novel and well worthy of five stars. Check out Grant's website for free books.

I great sequel/conclusion for Flight 19. There were a few “out of the world” things that I got lost in the details. They were necessary details, but a lot of information. I am all about happy endings though.

I loved Flight 19 number two. It was every bit of good as the first one. The characters were great and mostly likeable. It’s a great book and I highly recommended it.
